Wonder Girls’ Yenny talks about her first experience kissing 2AM’s Changmin

Wonder GirlsYenny, who is starring in the musical ‘Three Musketeers’, revealed that kissing 2AM’s Changmin, her co-star, was not bad at all!

Yenny shared with a bright smile, “There is a kiss scene in the musical. Because it is my work, I work hard at it. I didn’t do it properly during regular practices, but during rehearsal the other day, I actually performed the scene for the first time with Changmin oppa. But different from what I had been thinking, it actually felt quite natural.”

As the lovable ‘Constance’ in the musical, Yenny will also be starring with other male idols like 2PM’s Jun.K, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, and musical actor Park Jin Woo. Out of all the male stars, since she has known Jun.K and Changmin the longest as labelmates, you can imagine the awkwardness she must have felt when she learned she’d be acting with them, and even forming love lines!

But, she’s gotten over the awkwardness herself, only to find that the boys are now the ones acting a bit shy. When asked to give a message to her male co-stars, Yenny stated, “I act confidently, but you oppas seem to be quite shy about it. Although we have a normally close oppa-dongseng relationship, let us try becoming a loving couple. Please love me comfortably,” bringing laughs.

‘Three Musketeers’ premiered on the 20th and Yenny will step onto the stage as ‘Constance’ starting on the 22nd.

‘We Got Married’s Yoon Se Ah and Julien Kang bid farewell to fans through a selca

We Got Married’ couple Yoon Se Ah and Julien Kang will be leaving the show after their 7-month long ‘marriage’, and presented fans with a heartwarming selca to remember them by.

Yoon Se Ah shared on her Twitter, “Warm Winter”, along with a couple shot of her and Julien Kang looking cozy with each other under pretty snowflakes effects.

Although she probably meant to console the ‘shoulder – cherry’ couple fans, it’s hard not to be feeling sad, since we watched the two hold their traditional wedding ceremony just this past weekend!

The two finished their final recording on the 20th . The rumored new couple to replace them are said to be real-life couple Jo Jung Chi and Jung In, but of course, typical of ‘WGM’ style, “nothing is confirmed yet”.

‘Idol Star Athletics Championship’ airs ‘no cut’ footage

MBC Music aired a full 4 hour and 30 minutes of the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship‘.

Because of time constraints, many idols had gotten completely edited out of the show that was initially aired. However, since the idols worked incredibly hard, the full show was aired as the ‘Idol Star Athletics Championship No Cut Story‘, which features some interviews as well as preliminaries that weren’t aired.

In addition, viewers also got to see the women’s 400 meter race, INFINITE Woohyun‘s close call in the 70 meter hurdles finals as well as T-ara‘s archery match that were completely edited out of the original broadcast.

Still, it’s sort of weird that a ‘no cut’ version could be only 4 hours and 30 minutes long considering the idols apparently filmed for 22 hours. Where did the rest of the 17 hours and 30 minutes go?

Park Shin Hye thinks she and CNBLUE’s Yonghwa look good together?

On the February 20th broadcast of SBS‘ ‘One Night of TV Entertainment‘, actress Park Shin Hye gave hope to her fan boys by revealing, “I don’t have a boyfriend.”

Park Shin Hye then opened up about the dating rumors surrounding herself and CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa. She reasoned, “Because we look good together? Even in my eyes.. I haven’t seen him since our fan meeting last year. So I can confidently [deny the rumors],” disappointing shippers of the couple from SBS‘ hit drama ‘You’re Beautiful‘.

“I took a break from dramas for a while. During my break, all of the dramas and CFs of my college classmates became popular. Kim Bum and Kim So Eun‘s ‘Boys Over Flower‘ also became a hit. I thought ‘Was my decision wrong?’. I felt conflicted between the actress Park Shin Hye and the normal Park Shin Hye. Even if I fail, I thought I should let myself lay down my foundation well and rise up.”

Luckily, she was able to overcome her slump and continue to garner success with her latest drama tvN‘s ’Flower Boy Next Door‘. Considering Park Shin Hye seems to have no trouble getting friendly with her male co-stars, such as Yoon Si Yoon, doesn’t it come as a surprise that she doesn’t have a boyfriend?

Everyone knows Psy‘s huge success story with “Gangnam Style“.

The music video became the first video on YouTube to reach over 1 billion views, and that number is still growing. However, is he really the top Korean celebrity on YouTube? To answer the question, researchers from LG Economics Lab used a YouTube analyzer to find the top 15 videos that had the most views in early February.

Out of the 15 videos, there were 4 “Gangnam Style” related videos, 5 Big Bang music videos, and 3 Girls’ Generation music videos. Of course, out of all the videos, Psy’s video ranked #1 with the view count currently at over 1.3 billion. “Gee” came next with about 96,400,000 views, and “The Boys” ranked #3 with 67,270,000.

However, is the view count enough to determine how popular a video is? Probably not, since a promotional video needs a good response from its viewers to have the best effect. For this reason, the researchers decided to look at the number of ‘Likes‘ as well.

In terms of ‘Likes’, the best video was Big Bang’s “Monster“, which only ranked at #14 in terms of views. On the other hand, “The Boys” received 1.5 times more comments than the average K-pop related YouTube video, but only received 71% of the average ‘Likes’ ratio. As for “Gangnam Style”, the video got 1.04 times more comments than average, and 87% of the average ‘Like’ ratio.
So which video do you think is the best K-pop video on YouTube?
