Uhm Jung Hwa praises singer-turned-actors miss A’s Suzy and Seo In Guk

 

miss A‘s Suzy and Seo In Guk have caught the eyes of veteran diva Uhm Jung Hwa, and she has nothing but good things to say about the two singer-turned-actors!

 

As a singer-turned-actor herself, Uhm Jung Hwa shared in an interview, “Early in my career, there were few people who were both singers and actors. Because I might get the response ‘Why is a singer acting?’, I purposely tried to be different. When I stood on stage as a singer, I would put on heavy makeup, wear a wig, or contact lenses. I intentionally tried to overdo it. But nowadays, it seems like the public readily accepts singers who also act.”

 

“Singers have a good foundation in expressing their emotions, so I think they also act well. There are a lot of singers in the entertainment industry who can act. Expressing emotions is important when acting, and in Suzy’s case, her portrayal of emotions is good. She naturally acts well. I also like Seo In Guk because he can act.”

 

Suzy is currently starring in the #1 Monday-Tuesday MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu‘, and Seo In Guk previously made a name for himself as an actor in the hit drama ‘Reply 1997‘.

INFINITE to pull a hidden camera prank on Sunggyu on ‘High Society’

 

 

INFINITE showed fellow member Sunggyu a little tough love during a recent filming of ‘Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man’s High Society‘.

 

The members of INFINITE received the mission, “Fool Sunggyu and surprise him.” They then arrived at a penthouse, where they put their heads together in order to pull a hidden camera prank on their group’s leader. Sunggyu had no clue that his members were in the other room and had to guess who the mystery guests were.

 

Once Sunggyu was filled in on the prank, he shared, “There is no one I can trust in this world.” The others then eased up on Sunggyu and surprised him with a birthday cake, showing that they really do care.

Go Jun Hee sends Jinwoon a cold text message?

 

 

Go Jun Hee apparently threw 2AM‘s Jinwoon in for a loop with a cold text message! .

 

Last week on ‘We Got Married‘, the actress prepared a surprise birthday party for her onscreen husband and invited his idol best friends from the ’91 idol line, SHINee‘s Key, KARA‘s Nicole, and MBLAQ‘s Mir. But Jinwoon didn’t look too happy upon walking into the party, leaving everyone wondering what put him in a sour mood.

 

It was later revealed that Jinwoon received a text from Go Jun Hee the day before which read, “Let’s not contact each other personally.” So having received such a text, throughout the celebration, Jinwoon seemed more worried than happy. Thus, he was even more surprised when Go Jun Hee happily presented him with a cake that she helped make on last week’s episode.

SHINee to reunite with their ’6th member’ Jun Hyun Moo on ‘Hidden Singer’

 

SHINee will be meeting up with their ’6th member’ or MC Jun Hyun Moo for the upcoming episode of JTBC‘s ‘Hidden Singer‘.

A representative stated that veteran singer Lee Moon Sae, who is the guest for this episode, had a special place in his heart for SHINee, revealing the reason why they were brought on for this special.

 

The rep also commented,“Lee Moon Sae showed his affection for SHINee and even invited them to his concert. In addition, during this filming, Park Hye Mi, Yurisangja, Lee Sae Joon, Park Kyung Lim, Michelle Lee, and more featured as guests and performed covers of Lee Moon Sae’s hit songs. But Lee Moon Sae was especially pleased as he listened, with his eyes closed, to Onew who sang ‘Forever With You‘.”

 

Onew also flustered the veteran singer as he jokingly remarked, “Lee Moon Sae sunbaenim made his debut before we were even born,” while in the midst of expressing his admiration for him.

 

SHINee also joined MC Jun Hyun Moo to perform their trademark “Lucifer” dance that always brings about a lot of laughs when Jun Hyun Moo attempts his interpretation.

Joo Won suffers an injury to his nose while filming ’1 Night 2 Days’

 

Actor Joo Won recently made a trip to the emergency room after injuring his nose while filming ‘1Night 2 Days‘.

 

His agency revealed on the 18th, “During the filming for ’1N2D’, Joo Won was in the middle of a game with the football team at Korea Maritime University and his nose collided with a player’s head, and he ended up injuring the ridge of his nose, causing swelling.”

 

Reportedly, Joo Won fell onto the floor and was unable to get up for some time, leading the staff to pause filming. Joo Won was rushed to the emergency room where he received treatment, and the actor showed his dedication to his work by insisting that he comes back to finish the filming afterwards.

 

Hopefully the injury is minor and Joo Won will recover quickly!
