On February 20, SHINee held a press interview and a showcase for
the release of their third album, Dream Girl, at the SK Handball
Stadium in the Olympic Park. Since they released the fourth EP,
Sherlock, in March last year, it’s been almost a year to release a new
album.
At the showcase, SHINee performed “Dream Girl,” the lead track of the third
album: Chapter One, Dream Girl – The Misconception of You, for the
first time in front of a total audience of 3,000. “Dream Girl” is an acid
electronic punk number, which highlights each member’s distinctive style.
SHINee released all tracks from the album, including “Dream
Girl,” on such online music sites as iTunes on February 19. Among the tracks,
“Dream Girl” topped the real-time charts immediately.
SHINee will perform the song on Mnet’s M Countdown on February
21.
