Teen Top‘s Niel recently revealed that he had been hit on by a girl group member before.

Teen Top recently released their first full-length album after two years and seven months since their debut. As part of their promotional activities, the boy group made a visit to KBS FM Hong Jin Kyung’s “2PM” radio station to discuss their music and other interesting details of their idol group lives.

On the radio program, Niel made the surprising confession, “While performing Teen Top’s promotional activities, a female celebrity has shown interest in me before,” which roused the curiosity of listeners.

When asked if Niel could reveal to listeners the identity of that female celebrity, he replied, “I cannot do that. All I can reveal is that she is part of a girl group and she contacted me through text.”

Park Shi Hoo’s Former Agency CEO Met “A” Prior to the Lawsuit + Other Revelations

 

Park Shi Hoo is currently involved in a whirlwind of lawsuits including alleged sexual assault, the false accusation and attempted manace of the alleged rape victim “A,” her friend “B,” and the CEO of his former agency Eyagi Entertainment.

 

Friend “B” agreed to have an interview with Sports Seoul. In this interview, “B” argued that the victim “A” and CEO Hwang of Eyagi Entertainment met prior to filing for a lawsuit against Park Shi Hoo and CEO Hwang encouraged the idea. With “B”s clarification, the reasons behind Park Shi Hoo’s lawsuit against all three individuals are fully revealed.

 

“B” explained the meeting between “A” and CEO Hwang by saying, ”‘A’ and CEO Hwang met two days after the initial incident, on February 16 at a cafe in Seoul. CEO Hwang comforted ‘A’ saying, ‘Park Shi Hoo is a bastard. Let’s teach him a lesson. You must be hurt.’ And then he told A to go report Park Shi Hoo at the police station.”

 

According to “B,” this meeting was organized by another entertainment agency CEO “C.”

“B” continued explaining her involvement in the case and said, “‘A’ called me saying that she’s been raped by Park Shi Hoo. When she called me, I was already on my way to meet CEO ‘C,’ with whom I have been good friends for quite some time now. I was so surprised by this news, so I told CEO ‘C’ and asked him what to do. ‘C’ said, ‘This is good. CEO Hwang’s been looking for a chance to get back at Park Shi Hoo. Let’s get some help from him to deal with this situation.’ I thought it was a good idea since ‘A’ is a woman and not as affluent or powerful as Park Shi Hoo is. So I told ‘A’ that we should meet up with CEO Hwang.”

 

Friend “B” added that the meeting between CEO Hwang and “A” was not premeditated and CEO Hwang asked CEO “C” to take “A” to the police station after their meeting.

 

However, after the news became public, “A” decided to go her own way. “B” stated, “At first, ‘A’ wanted CEO Hwang’s help, but as soon as the news became public, she told us that she’s going to take care of this with her parents. She did want CEO Hwang nor my help any more. I don’t know what happened between her and CEO Hwang after this.”

 

When confronted with such rich information from “B,” CEO Hwang of Eyagi Entertainment denied his alleged support for “A” in the case. During a phone interview with Sports Seoul, CEO Hwang stated, “It is true that I met with ‘A,’ but it was to figure out the exact situation and possible solutions to the problem. I met with her for about 5 minutes only. That’s it. I comforted ‘A’ since she was so shaken, but I didn’t say anything that ‘B’ is accusing me of saying. I got nothing to hide. It’s 2000% false. I got most of the information about the situation from CEO ‘C’ and told Park Shi Hoo. When I learned that Park Shi Hoo’s side of the story is different from ‘A’s story, I tried to find a middle ground. What ‘B’ is saying is not true at all. CEO ‘C’ also thinks that ‘B’ is not completely trustworthy.”

 

Then why would Park Shi Hoo sue CEO Hwang, too? CEO Hwang answered, “I have no idea why Park Shi Hoo decided to file a lawsuit against me as well as the two women. I think there has been a mistake as he switched law firms.”

 

Eyagi Entertainment also released an official statement stating that the company is “upset that false rumors and accusations have caused Park Shi Hoo to file a lawsuit.” They ended the statement by saying that the company will do anything to prove CEO Hwang’s innocence.

 

Meanwhile, “B” also opened about the alleged demand of 1 billion Korean won of “A.” She explained, “When I heard this sad news, that my poor friend has been mistreated by a celebrity, I told her that ‘He’s a bastard. We need to get something out of it, whether that is 1 billion Korean won or him losing his status.’ But the text messages after that has been omitted. I said to her, ‘You need to do this right. You look like you are completely blanked out, so at least act sad or something.’ She responded, ‘Okay, I’ll look like I’m sad,’ to which I responded back saying, ‘This is a sad thing. You don’t need to look anything, just show him how you feel.’ This whole conversation has been omitted.”

 

“B” added, “People think ‘A’ and I are trying to make some profit out of this lawsuit. I’m getting really confused right now, too. The stories ‘A’ told me, what the media has discovered so far, and her text message conversation with Park Shi Hoo’s friend don’t come together. They just don’t line up. So I’ve stopped talking to ‘A’ altogether.”

Kim Tae Woo, from popular boy group g.o.d. from the 90’s, opened up about one of his previous members.

 

On March 4, Kim Tae Woo and SHINee made guest appearances on Mnet’s variety talk show “Beatles Code” and the former shared, “Danny Ahn was an outsider during our g.o.d. promotions.”

 

On this day, the emcees tried to have the SHINee members reveal if they feel awkward spending time with just another person in the group. Since the members were a bit hesitant to answer, Kim Tae Woo jumped in, “I was awkward with Danny hyung.”

 

He continued, “Danny was a member I felt awkward with when it was just the two of us. He was a bit uncomfortable with the rest of the members. He was an outsider.”

 

The emcees remarked, “You should have said something.” Kim Tae Woo responded, “I couldn’t because he’s a hyung.”

Ulala Session Attends First Official Activity Since the Late Im Yoon Taek’s Passing

According to Ulala Company, Ulala Session will be performing in Busan on March 23 at 2pm KST at Busan VEXCO Auditorium for a charity event “Love Share Concert” for child patients of leukemia. This is the first official event since the late Im Yoon Taek‘s passing on February 11.

 

Originally, Ulala Session was scheduled perform at this event with So Hyang and the One, but had to reconsider it due to Im Yoon Taek’s sudden passing.

 

The members of Ulala Session decided to perform at this charity event, following Im Yoon Taek’s previous good deeds. Previously, Im Yoon Taek sponsored many cancer patients who could not afford to have surgery. The members of Ulala Session have been avoiding events since their leader’s passing. They were originally invited to perform at the presidential inauguration on February 25, but decided to politely decline the invitation due to Im Yoon Taek’s passing.

 

A representative of Ulala Company stated, “We have been avoiding events because the members still need some time to get themselves together and mourn the late Im Yoon Taek’s passing. However, they decided to perform at the upcoming event in Busan as they support the good charitable intentions of the event. After that, Ulala Session will focus solely on preparing their next album.”

 

Currently, Ulala Session is working on their new album under member Park Seung Il‘s lead. Although no specific detail about the album has been settled, Ulala Session is considering including a song dedicated to commemorate Im Yoon Taek.

Kim Shin Young is back!

 

In December, the comedian took a break from all activities because of worsening health conditions caused by fatigue. She was supposed to have her comeback by the end of February, but delayed it by a few days to make a comeback on her MBC FM4U radio show,’Songs of Hope at Noon Kim Shin Young‘, on the 4th.

 

She was her trademark happy self on the show, assuring fans that she was perfectly fine. The comedian did address one rumor by saying, “I really wanted to say this. While I was resting, there were a lot of rumors. People speculated on forums that I would return after shaving my chin and cheekbones. Tomorrow, the radio will have a live video broadcast, so you can see for yourself. I’m the same as before. Don’t worry.”

Joo Won to bring out his musical side for ’7th Grade Civil Servant’ OST

Actor Joo Won, who started out in musicals, will be the voice behind the upcoming song “Don’t Know How to Love” for his MBC drama ‘7th Grade Civil Servant‘ OST.

 

Joo Won shared on his recording experience, “The original song [by AshGray] itself is a difficult song, so I had a lot of difficulties, but I tried hard to give a different feel from the original version. With the help of a talented composer, I finished the OST recording successfully. I hope a good song is released from this.”

 

A staff member commented, “I already knew that Joo Woon is a good singer, but while I was recording with Joo Won, I felt that Joo Won can also be a singer with his talent. He sang while adding his own color to the song, so I am 100% satisfied.”

4men will finally step out of their hiatus for their upcoming concert series, ‘2013 4men Concert: I’ll Let You Listen‘.

Lee Joon practices judo in new still cuts for ‘Iris 2′

Last week, Lee Joon finally made his long awaited appearance on ‘Iris 2‘, but his scatter of scenes hadn’t been enough to satisfy his fans.

 

Thankfully, ‘Iris 2′ released a set of still cuts, hinting that viewers will be seeing more and more of Lee Joon in future episodes. The still cuts show Lee Joon teaching Baek Sung Hyun and Lee Seung Hak how to physically handle themselves.

 

His character is a confident character who always has a smirk on his face, but he is actually completely professional once he starts to work. The still cuts perfectly depicts just that, as they show him smirking at the junior agents with ease at the beginning. But when he actually starts to show them judo, he gets completely serious and has no problem flipping the other agents down onto the mat. Even though Lee Joon suffered a slight injury when he was filming the scene, he bounced right back into filming.

INFINITE-H talk about love on ‘Yoon Do Hyun’s MUST’

The boys of INFINITE-H talked about their love lives on the March 5th episode of ‘Yoon Do Hyun’s MUST‘!

 

MC Yoon Do Hyun first asked if either Hoya or Dongwoo were currently in love. Dongwoo replied, “It’s been a while since I was in a relationship, so my dating cells are all dying. But we have our Special Girls.” Hoya also said, “I’m always in love. All the time… (pause) With my fans.” The MC made fun of their ”typical” answers, and the crowd booed jokingly as well.

Gyuri and Thunder get into character in BTS cuts of upcoming drama, ‘Nail Salon Paris’

 

Gyuri and Thunder‘s upcoming drama ‘Nail Salon Paris‘ finally lifted a bit of its mystery veil with the release of BTS cuts!

 

The drama has been talked about since January, but it had been keeping relatively hush hush, not giving much away. They have finally released two photos showing the four main characters hanging out together enjoying beer and chicken on the set of the show.

 

As previously reported, Gyuri will be playing Hong Yuh Joo, an internet fiction writer who disguises herself as a man while working for the trendy nail salon ‘Paris’. She’ll be working with Song Jae Rim, Jun Ji Hoo, and of course, MBLAQ‘s Thunder.

 

So far there’s not much information on what role the other three characters will be playing, but as this drama is said to be about four male nail artists working at the salon, it is assumed that the three men mentioned will be playing them as well.

 

The drama will start airing in April!

Actor Yoo Seung Ho suddenly enlists in military

 

Fans get your tissues ready! Yoo Seung Ho has enlisted in the army.

 

Though the 20-year-old actor revealed that he would be leaving for the military after the series ‘I Miss You‘ wrapped up last year, there was no announcement about a date. Yoo Seung Ho quietly enlisted into active-duty service on the 5th at a base in Gangwon Province’s Chuncheon with only his agency CEO and family in attendance.

 

His agency stated, “No one knew of Yoo Seung Ho’s enlistment. He thought he should enlist quietly because everyone’s the same in the military. There shouldn’t be special treatment for celebrities.”

IU claimed she’s confident because she’s not actually pretty. The singer-turned-actress and her co-star Jo Jung Suk held their press conference for the upcoming drama ‘You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin‘ on the 4th at the Seoul Sogong-dong Plaza Hotel’s Grand Ballroom.

 

During the press conference, IU was asked what kind of charm she would bring as Lee Soon Shin. She answered brightly, “If you watch a lot of dramas, in the beginning a lot of the main female characters are described as not pretty, but the male characters love them anyway. But even though the lead actresses aren’t supposed to be pretty, they’re actually very pretty. I’m confident that I can look not so pretty without any effects or makeup,” explaining that she’ll try to bring realism to the drama.

 

In terms of acting, she confessed that she’d been really worried. IU said, “I was really worried. A role in a KBS weekend drama is incredible. I worried a lot about if I should actually do it. But the director, the writers, and other staff made me believe I can. I acted with their trust. I’m going to work hard at both my music and acting promotions.”

 

With IU as his love interest, Jo Jung Suk had his own worries. He revealed, “When people heard that I was going to be IU’s boyfriend in the drama, even my family called me a cradle-robber. As long as it’s okay with IU, I’m going to work hard at the relationship.” When asked about the kiss scenes, he wittily replied, “We’re still at the arguing stage, so I don’t know when it’ll come out. I’m prepared for the criticism though.”

 

IU added, “We don’t have a romantic scenes yet. My fans told me, ‘Film without any NGs, and [only kiss] once,’ but I think we’re going to have to do it many times. I’m going to work hard.”

Taemin almost becomes an international missing child?

 

SHINee‘s maknae Taemin bumped into nothing but trouble on ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘.

 

Taemin’s main goal in Switzerland was to attempt sky diving, and he had to go to the well known tourist city of Interlaken. He managed to get to Interlaken after a total of 24 hours and 30 minutes of flying and riding on a train, but he was further delayed at his sky diving attempt because of the bad weather.

 

He had to turn back to the capital Bern. But when he got on the train, he realized he’d lost his train ticket! The ticket was one that allowed him with unlimited use of the train for 4 days, but he dug through everything all of his possessions and couldn’t find it. He almost burst into tears, crying out, “What if I become an international missing child at this rate?”

 

Hopefully, Taemin has better luck for the rest of his trip!

2AM sweeps music charts with “One Spring Day”

2AM proved that they really are the kings of ballads!

It’s only been a few hours since the boys released their album, but “One Spring Day” completely swept over all of the major charts in Korea. It currently ranks #1 on Mnet, Cyworld, Monkey3, Melon, Soribada, Olleh Music, Daum Music, Naver Music, and Bugs.

Seems like the boys are off to a great start!

“Flower Boy Ramyun Shop’s” Lee Chung Ah Confirmed for “Wonderful Mama”

 Actress Lee Chung Ah has been confirmed for SBS’s upcoming weekend series, “Wonderful Mama.”

 

It’s been a year since Lee Chung Ah has worked on a TV series – her last was tvN’s “Flower Boy Ramyun Shop,” which she co-starred with Jung Il Woo. In “Wonderful Mama,” she will play Oh Da Jung, best friend to female lead Jung Yumi’s Go Young Chae.

 

Regarding her new role, Lee Chung Ah commented, “In this new project, I will show everyone a new side of me through this lovable, adorable, troublemaker character. I know all my fellow cast mates, so I think it’ll be fun working and filming together. Personally, I have high expectations for this drama because of my faith in our director and screenwriter. Please be excited for this new series.”

 

“Wonderful Mama” is described as a heartwarming family drama about a loan shark mom (Bae Jong Ok), a self-made woman who now own multi-million won buildings, and her three immature children. She gets diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and decides that she needs to make her adult children grow up. Jung Yumi will play the eldest daughter, Go Young Chae, a hot-tempered princess who works as a designer. As she matures, she realizes her mother’s fierce love for her children and the importance of family.

 

“Wonderful Mama” will replace “My Love, Madame Butterly” on SBS this May.
