Seo In Guk reveals he did not know who the husband was in 'Reply 1997' until the very last episode

On November 6,  Seo In Guk met up with media outlet Xports News for an interview in which he was asked, "At the time you were filming 'Reply 1997,' did you really not know who the husband would be?"

First, he burst out in laughter.  Then, he replied, "I really didn't know.  Truly had no idea . . . Even when the script for the 15th episode came out, the director did not reveal the info.  I think he might have done that because we might have unknowingly done something while acting if we had known the husband's identity."

He said, "The cast members even went to the director altogether to ask him.  We begged him to tell us who in the world the husband was and why he wouldn't tell us.  Still, he told us, 'Just look at the script for the 16th episode~.'  The fact that the owner of the wedding band was Yoon Yoon Jae was also filmed again in the 16th episode.  Before that, he had kept ordering other male cast members to do the same thing, so we didn't notice.  But it was really hard trying to connect the dots again in the 16th episode."

He was also asked if he had any intention of making a cameo appearance in the sequel 'Reply 1994.'  He responded, "I want to.  If the director asks for me, I'd readily do it.  I think it'd be fun."

He said amusingly, "If Yoon Jae appeared in 'Reply 1994,' he'd be a middle school student though.  But he can't go out in the middle school hairstyle.  He has to go in the Leslie Cheung hairstyle."
