Se7en’s enlistment date confirmed!


 
Though Se7en told fans that he would be enlisting this month, he kept the date a secret until his recent fan meeting.
 
It’s now been revealed that Se7en will leave for the Uijeongbu 306 Reserve Battalion on March 19th to officially start his post as an active-duty soldier.
 
During Se7en’s ‘talk concert’, which marked his 10th anniversary since debut, he announced, “Today’s the 9th. There are 10 days left. I’m enlisting on March 19th. I really wanted to tell you, but I saved it for the concert. I received so much love the past 10 years, and I had a great time. I’m always thankful.”
 
The singer also answered questions about his promotions, commenting, “My heart tells me to continue [after I'm discharged from the army]… However, I think it’d be wrong to promote under the name ‘Se7en’ when I’m 50 years old,” causing laughter.

Tablo congratulates Simon D on his birthday



Two of the hottest rappers in the K-pop scene, Tablo and Simon D, met up to celebrate Simon D’s birthday on March 9th.
 
Tablo congratulated Simon D on his 30th birthday (Korean age), tweeting, “Me and Simon D. Happy Birthday!” He also shared a snapshot of the two rappers forgetting their charismatic images for a second and going for a cute, friendly two-shot.
 
Simon D replied, “People might think that just the two of us went,” to which Tablo tweeted back, “If it was just the two of us, I would just say it to you. Why would I tweet it?” Simon D hilariously answered, “To show off that we’re close somehow.”
 
Fans commented, “Happy Birthday, Simon D,” “It’s nice to see their friendship,” and “They’re cute.”

‘Infinity Challenge’ cast members transform into taxi drivers



On MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘, the cast members transformed into taxi drivers to spend ‘one spectacular day‘ with the citizens of Korea.
 
Still cuts from the episode show the members disguising themselves with wigs, mustaches, and glasses. During their mission, some passengers recognized the members immediately, while others looked at the drivers’ faces but still couldn’t recognize them.
 
Gil, who’s a judge on ‘Voice Korea‘, installed a karaoke machine to sing with anyone who rode his cab, while Jung Jun Ha prepared decorations for his taxi.
 
The cast shared, “In a unique place like a taxi car, we were able to get close with a variety of citizens including students, adults, foreigners, and more to share honest stories. It was definitely a ‘spectacular day’.”

JYJ Wants to Get Closer With Their Fans Through SNS

Idol group JYJ wants to get more intimate with their fans…through social networking sites.
 
The group has opened their official LINE (A Korean SNS) account and will be sharing their behind the scene photos, voice messages, and autographs with their fans.
 
A representative of their agency said, “If our official website or Facebook is used to pass on information or make announcements, LINE is a great way for us to share photos and voice messages with our fans in a more intimate matter…In the future we hope to make voice announcement about overseas activities to our overseas fans. “
 
JYJ’s official LINE account will be available in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese and will be able to share news in real time with thirteen countries including Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Turkey, Spain, Singapore, and Thailand. The account opened on February 27 and has thousands of registered friends in different countries.
 
On March 11 Kim Jaejoong will hold a special LINE live chatting event with his fans.

On the new drama “The Nail Shop Paris,” which will start its broadcast in April, Kara’s Park Gyuri will be playing the female lead who will cross-dresses as a boy to work in flower boy nail shop “Paris.” Recently, photos of Gyuri at the set of the drama were released, increasing the curiosity of many fans.
 
In the pictures is Gyuri with a bob cut wearing a boyish outfit. This is a very different look for her, especially since she has always been called the “goddess” of her group. However, despite the change, Gyuri still looks gorgeous in these pictures.

Indonesian Fan Creates a Giant Street Art Display for Taeyeon’s Birthday

In celebration of Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon‘s 24th birthday, an Indonesian fan Eric Christian has made a huge street art display of Taeyeon as a birthday present.
 
Standing at about 4 by 3 meters (about 13 feet by 10 feet), the project took for four days for Eric to create. Previously, he has also created two of Yuri and one of Sooyoung. All are located in his hometown in Bandung, Indonesia.
 
Eric said that he plans to eventually make one for all nine members of Girls’ Generation this year. The next project will be Jessica as her birthday is on April 18.
 
Eric stated, “I just wanted to give a present to the Girls’ Generation members. I hope they know that I made something for them. I also wish that I can meet them face to face.”

Jang Woo Hyuk Revealed His Contract During His SM Entertainment Days Wasn’t Good

Jang Woo Hyuk, from SM Entertainment’s first idol group H.O.T, implies that his contract wasn’t good while he was active as part of the popular idol group.
 
On March 7, he made a guest appearance on KBS’s variety program “Happy Together” during the special “War of Money” along with Cultwo and Kim Jong Min. The guests were required to draw a line graph depicting their relationship with money throughout their life.
 
To the surprise of many, Jang Woo Hyuk’s graph showed that he didn’t have much money during his H.O.T days compared to before debut and after he was active as a soloist.
 
“I was a rookie then and the contract wasn’t good. To be honest, the members didn’t receive a lot of the profit.”
 
He continued, “My income got better after I made my debut with JTL. The profit was split between three members instead of five…” Jang Woo Hyuk went on, “Being active as a solo singer helped me financially.”
 
Netizens who saw his segment shared a few words of sympathy. “He was so popular during the H.O.T days. GLAM Reveals Zinni’s Teaser Image For Upcoming Single

Girl group GLAM recently released a teaser image of their member Zinni sporting brand new bangs and a different style for their new single to be released on March 13.
 
On March 7, GLAM updated their official Facebook with Zinni’s teaser photo for their upcoming single “In Front of the Mirror.”
 
In the photo, Zinni’s edgy, b-boy image from “I Like That” has been replaced by a softer, more feminine look with a new set of bangs, short-shorts to flaunt her leg lines and a baggy graphic tee to keep it “B-boy.”
 
GLAM has been receiving a lot of love for their single “I Like That,” which was released this past January. And while riding that wave of popularity, the talented girl group appears to be taking no breaks as they dive head-first into preparations for their next hotly anticipated single.

On March 8, cable channel KBS W’s “Son Tae Young’s W Show” aired a special segment with Sistar19. Members Hyorin and Bora showed the table choreography from their latest track “Gone, Not Around Any Longer” and the audience was fixated throughout their demonstration.
 
When asked which idol has a beautiful body, Hyorin responded that 4minute’s Heo Ga Yoon and HyunA’s bodies were great. She also added, “My body is in the top five among idols.” Bora added, “She has the body type that easily loses weight.”
 
Meanwhile, “Son Tae Young W Show” will air on March 8 at 10pm (KST).


‘We Got Married’ installs CCTV in Jo Jung Chi’s home to document how he really spends his days



Like mentioned before, real-life couple Jo Jung Chi and Jung In have been confirmed as the newest couple on ‘We Got Married‘, and their first appearance on the show will be through this week’s upcoming episode.
 
Before the couple started their actual recording for the show, the staff of ‘We Got Married’ decided to figure out if Jo Jung Chi had been telling the truth when he had said, “I spend my day lying down 20 hours out of the 24.
 
Thus, the show had gone ahead and installed a CCTV in Jo Jung Chi’s home before the upcoming episode, and the result of it will be unveiled to the viewers, who will get to see how Jo Jung Chi really spends his days.
 
It is said the CCTV footage did show that he did spend most of his time lying down, and when his friend came to visit, he remarked on the messy environment, commenting, “It’s like you’re digging for artifacts.”
 
Well hopefully we’ll see Jo Jung Chi and Jung In spend a bit more of an active lifestyle through the show since it’s quite hard to imagine a ‘We Got Married’ episode with couples lying around the entire segment!
 
This episode will be broadcast later on the 9th!
