Jeon Hyun Moo and Fabian Show Bromance as They Enjoy a Date on “I Live Alone”

Jeon Hyun Moo and Fabian Show Bromance as They Enjoy a Date on “I Live Alone”

On the May 2 broadcast of MBC‘s “I Live Alone,” Jeon Hyun Moo enjoyed an outing with Fabian. The unlikely duo decided to spend the day together, causing the creation of an unusual friendship from two very opposite individuals.

Throughout the broadcast, Jeon Hyun Moo took care of Fabian, taking the French student on a walk under the blooming cherry blossoms. Although the two television personalities were initially awkward, they were able to grow closer together upon realizing their similarities. Furthermore, Fabian showed his goofy nature when he could not remember the French word for ‘cherry blossom,’ resulting in the French native to search online for the french word; such hilarity caused Jeon Hyun Moo to tease the French student for being more Korean than French.

Moreover, Jeon Hyun Moo was able to teach some comedic techniques to Fabian who is still new to television. Despite being a former news reporter, Jeon Hyun Moo has constantly shown his comedic personality, thus being labeled as more of a comedian than a news reporter. The surprising friendship that formed between the two has surprised viewers as Jeon Hyun Moo and Fabian displayed their ability to match well.

Hopefully next time when the two spend time together, it could be a double date rather than a time spent between two lonely men!

EXO’s Chanyeol Is a “Gentle Idol” on “Roommate”

EXO’s Chanyeol Is a “Gentle Idol” on “Roommate”

In a previous interview, EXO‘s Chanyeol said that he worried fans would turn away once they see how he really is when he’s at his comfortable state but little does he know, showing his true colors–especially if it’s really cool–could only make the fans love him even more!

On the first episode of the SBS “Good Sunday” show “Roommate,” Chanyeol showed the viewers a side of him that wasn’t often seen on camera until now.

Chanyeol was the first to arrive at the house and was at awe at everything he looked at. He gave himself a quick tour of the whole place walking from the wide living room, clean kitchen and dining hall, and finally, the rooms upstairs.

Eventually, the second member of the group–comedian Jo Se Ho–arrived next and Chanyeol offered to help carry Jo Se Ho’s things. Chanyeol ended up carrying most of Jo Se Ho’s stuff.

“I wanted to show the audience that Chanyeol is the kind of kid who is good to his hyungs. If he stays still and doesn’t help me out, he would become an idol with ‘no manners’,” Jo Se Ho explained. The comedian then added that Chanyeol is what he would call a “gentle-dol” or a gentleman idol.

In this episode, viewers also got to see more of the good mannered Chanyeol as he left a message to greet the other roommates when he left the house for a shoot. He wrote on the glass board in the common room saying:

Hello everyone~!!

This is EXO’s Chanyeol who is the first roommate to arrive in the house~!!
I came early so I already fixed some of my stuff and spent some time in this new place. Because I was alone, I was so bored and I could not wait to meet the other roommates soon.
I have to go to a shoot now so I won’t be at the house. I’ll work hard at the shoot and come back so please wait for me~ Please do me a favor~ <3

“Roommate” is the new SBS variety show wherein 11 celebrities will live together in a “share house.” See more of Chanyeol and the other roommates–Lee Dong Wook, Shin Sung Woo, Lee So Ra, Hong Soo Hyun, 2NE1’s Park Bom, After School’s Nana, Jo Se Ho, Seo Kang Joon, Park Min Woo, and Song Ga Yeon–in the next episodes!

“Roommate” airs on SBS every Sunday, 4:40 p.m. (KST).

Gary Can’t Lie to Song Ji Hyo on “Running Man”

The “Monday Couple” of Gary and Song Ji Hyo gave more proof of how close they are on the May 4 episode of “Running Man.”

In the latest episode of the hit SBS ”Good Sunday” show, the cast and guests continued playing the Mafia Game where the members were the “citizens” who had to seek out who among them was designated as the “mafia.”

While huddled and in the process of looking for the three mafia among them, Lee Kwang Soo mentioned that one of the three girls might be the mafia that they’re seeking out.

Gary was quick to suggest that they should start with Song Ji Hyo. In her defense, Song Ji Hyo pointed out that Gary was the one to be doubted because of his actions. “Gary oppa continuously covers for Lee Sang Hwa. If you think about it, the mafia could be him,” she said.

“In this world, Ji Hyo knows it best when I’m lying. She knows better than my mom,” Gary said, acknowledging Ji Hyo and making the members around him laugh.

Infinite’s Woohyun and Sungyeol Are Rivals in Upcoming Drama, “High School”

Infinite’s Woohyun and Sungyeol Are Rivals in Upcoming Drama, “High School”

It looks like we will see Infinite members Nam Woohyun and Lee Sungyeol go head-to-head as they become rivals in the upcoming KBS drama “High School” (tentative title) which is set to air around end of May.

“High School” is a teen fantasy drama about the complicated love and coming-of-age of two pure, hot-blooded youth, and an angel who became human to save a male student who was in trouble.

Onscreen, Nam Woohyun and Lee Sungyeol will become “Shin Woo Hyun” and “Hwang Sung Yeol,”respectively, who are friends in high school but become rivals as they compete with each other because of love.

Nam Woohyun will play the role of “Shin Woo Hyun,“ a guy who looks rough and arrogant on the outside but is actually a pure and warm guy. He lives with his grandmother and manages a snack shop. Because of his good looks and excellent singing voice, he is always very popular with the girls. He doesn’t believe in love because of his parents who gave him away but as he meets the angel “Seul Bi,” he starts to open his eyes to true love.

Lee Sungyeol, on the other hand, will play the role of “Hwang Sung Yeol”, a “mother’s friend’s son” or what could be said as the perfect guy. He studies really well and is good at sports too; there’s nothing that he can’t do. Compared with Shin Woo Hyun who moves first with his heart, he is the guy who acts with his mind as he plans everything ahead and is obsessed with not giving up easily. After knowing that Shin Woo Hyun’s real mother is his new mother, he starts competing with him.

According to a representative from the production, they will explore a new style of youth drama for the 20-episode series. “While the drama depicts the worries and love stories of the youth, it will not only stimulate the emotions of the viewers but also show that we worry about realistic problems in school and home together with them (the viewers) and even form sympathy towards the parents’ generation.”

It will be very interesting to see these two in a drama! Who’s looking forward to see this series?
