Lee Kwang Soo is gifted by the ‘God of Variety’ on ‘Running Man’

 

Lee Kwang Soo cemented his reputation as the ‘Unluckiest Person Alive’ on the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘.

 

On their way to the final mission, ‘superpower karaoke’, the cast and guests played a simple game where every member would take turns smashing eggs on their foreheads. There would be a single raw egg mixed into the batch of boiled eggs, and the one who cracked the raw egg would be the loser.

 

As an aside, Ji Suk Jin said, “These things usually happen to Kwang Soo“. Imagine his surprise when it turned out that Kwang Soo had, indeed, grabbed the raw egg and smashed it on his face!

 

That wasn’t all, however – on the second round, Lee Kwang Soo was chosen to go first. Can our viewers guess what happened? That’s right – he ended up picking the raw egg, on the first try, as the first contestant.

 

This unbelievable chain of events, which caused even the staff members to gasp out loud, caused Yoo Jae Suk to exclaim, “The God of Variety is on your side!”

Are Ailee and Simon More Than Friends?

 

Ailee and DMTN member Simon recently attended a baseball game together.

 

On April 28, Ailee and Simon went to the Seoul Jamsil Stadium to watch a match between the LG and Lotte baseball teams. The two celebrities wore masks at the event as seen in the photo. Fans who saw the photo of Simon and Ailee began to speculate that there might be something more to their friendship. 

 

Ailee’s agency addressed the dating rumors with the statement, “[Simon] is just a close brother-like friend to Ailee. They went with other people to that event.” This implies that the circulating photo failed to reveal that it was not a date. Simon’s agency also added their statement, “Simon attended the game with his friend Hwang Jae Kyun and other buddies.”

Infinite Members Wish Sunggyu a “Happy Birthday” Through Twitter Posts

 

 

Infinite recently wished their group leader Sunggyu a happy 25th birthday on April 28th by flooding his twitter feed with adorable messages and selcas.

 

Member Hoya wrote, “Gyu Hyung-nim, Happy Birthday!” and Sungjong wrote, “Sunggyu hyung, Happy Birthday to the leader Gyu who is always a source of strength to us. I love you!” and uploaded an adorable selca. Sungyeol tweeted, “If you round up, you’re almost thirty! Happy birthday to Gyu-nim doing gwiyomi!  Now that you’ve become older, I simply have one request. Please refrain from doing cute stuff in the future and you will receive heaven’s great blessings.”

 

Sunggyu replied to the adorable wishes with the tweet, “Thank you so much my Infinite buddies! But I don’t think I’ll stop doing gwiyomi for you guys,” causing netizens to chuckle at their adorable banter. 

 

Fans also sent their own messages of congratulations to the singer.

 

“Monday Couple” Gary Tells Song Ji Hyo, “I’m a 3rd Level Lover”

 

On the latest episode of SBS‘s “Running Man,” “Monday Couple” Song Ji Hyo and Gary faced off in a hip towel wrestling match. 

 

On April 28, the members of “Running Man” predicted that Gary would easily win since he had stated before that he had reached an 8th level status of achievement in martial arts. When Yoo Jae Suk restated that fact to Gary, however, he replied while directing his gaze to Song Ji Hyo, “I think I’m not at the fitness level I was before…but I’m a 3rd level lover,” which caused the rest of the members to crack up at his smooth response.

 

Gary started off the game with confident remarks to Song Ji Hyo saying, “I’m sorry Ji Hyo, there was no other way,” before they began to try and wrestle the towel away from each other. However, Gary’s playful tugging caused him to slip, which ultimately won her the match

 

Netizens who saw the episode commented, “Gary, I want you!”, “These two are simply adorable” and “Wow, I guess Gary isn’t as strong as I thought he was.” 

Will BEAST’s Yoseob Be the Next Celebrity Boxer?

 

On the recent episode of KBS’s “Entertainment Relay,” which was aired on April 27, group BEAST’s members were interviewed at a pictorial photoshoot.

 

During the interview, Yang Yoseob revealed that his new hobby is boxing. He stated, “I am really into boxing now. I have been doing it for about two months and it is really fun. If possible, I would love to debut as a professional boxer.”

 

When the reporter asked if he wants to be like actress Lee Si Young, who recently made the National Boxing Team, Yoseob answered, “I actually wanted to enter a boxing competition in May and I even lost some weight for it. But it didn’t work out. I am planning to try again for the game, which will take place in August.”

Lee Seung Gi Affectionately Fixes Suzy’s Hair

 

On the April 29 broadcast of MBC’s “Good Day,” Lee Seung Gi was seen affectionately fixing the hair of his “Gu Family Book” costar, Suzy. As soon as the “cut” was heard, Lee Seung Gi corrected Suzy’s tangled hair, showing off a friendly and comfortable relationship with his fellow idol-actor. The camera also caught Suzy giving Lee Seung Gi a neck massage between cuts, making all those watching jealous. 

 

The atmosphere on the set of the popular drama continued to be friendly and warm with the lead actors’ positive attitudes and aegyo. After filming a scene in which he is hit by Yoo Yeon Suk’s knife, Lee Seung Gi playfully laughed off his pain. It was also reported earlier that Suzy kept a smile on her face between breaks despite filming four hours in the rain.

Uee Shows Off Her Bare Face on “Barefoot Friends”

On the recent episode of SBS’s show “Barefoot Friends,” which was aired on April 28, After School’s Uee and other members went on a survival trip to Vietnam.

 

During the travel, Kang Ho Dong, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum Soo, and Uee decided to sleep at a stranger’s house. When the members woke up the next day, everyone had to show their bare faces on camera. What impressed the members was the fact that even though she just woke up, Uee still looked gorgeous. With her flawless skin and natural beauty, Uee looked beautiful.
