Changmin Call SM crazy

DBSK’s Changmin revealed a list of currently well-known celebrities who could have been part of the SM Entertainment family.

Yesterday’s episode of KBS’s “Moonlight Prince” featured Secret’s Han Sun Hwa and actress Yoo In Na as guests.

During the episode, host Changmin shared that Han Sun Hwa had auditioned for SM Entertainment in the past. He explained, “Other than Han Sun Hwa, there are numerous people who auditioned for our company but ended up signing with another agency, One of them was Goo Hara.”

Changmin added, “Apparently, Won Bin also auditioned. The story has been passed down like a legend, and whenever I hear that story, I think to myself that our company was crazy [to let him go].”

Singer Se7en who will enter the military in March will thank his fans with a song.

Se7en’s agency YG Entertainment revealed on February 27, “Se7en will enter the military in March. Se7en will release the exact date of entrance in an upcoming concert.”

On March 9, Se7en will express his gratitude towards his fans at the 10th year anniversary concert, Thank U at the Grand Theater in the Educational Cultural Center for Students in Seoul Yang Jae.

A publicist of Se7en says, “Before entering the military, Se7en wants to express how thankful he is to his fans. Se7en who has performed for past 10 years prepared this meeting for his fans.”

Previously, Se7en also met his fans in Japan. There, he released a new song as a surprise. That song was a song written by Se7en to express his thanks to his fans and the song will be released at March 20. Another performance is expected at the upcoming fan meeting in Korea.

Moon Hee Sun, the younger sister of Moon Hee Joo, the first love of Oh Soo (played by Jo In Sung) and Jo Moo Chul (played by Kim Tae Woo), was raised with Oh Soo and Jin Sung (played by Kim Beom) after the death of her sister. Hee Sun always pressured Oh Soo for having many girls around him by saying, “How can you forget my sister?”

In the previous episode, Moon Hee Seon found out that Oh Soo spent time with his fake sister Oh Young (played by Song Hye Kyo) to forget the anniversary of her sisters’ death. Moon expresses her anger by crying aloud because she thinks that Oh Soo has forgot her sister.

Actor Lee Dong Woo recently decided to play the lead role in KBS 2TV’s new historical drama series Heaven’s Order, which will start airing in April.

Choi Won, the character Lee will play, is a doctor who runs away after being falsely accused of murder. He’s talented enough to become a royal physician, but he’s not interested in success or fame. He just wants to stay with his daughter who is sick, and he does everything for her.

Lee said he would focus on his acting career when he finished SBS TV’s Kang Shim Jang.

Lee says, “I’m very nervous to do a new project in a year and two months, but I’m also excited about my new historical drama series. I like its unusual story and my character. Selecting the right genre is important for actors, but the most important part is to impress viewers with acting. I thought I should portray a father who loves his daughter well. I think it will be physically very hard because it’s a historical drama series, but I think I can see the beauty of spring in Korea during the shooting. I’ll prepare a lot. I’m also excited about working with other actors.”

Heaven’s Order will start airing in April after KBS 2TV’s Iris 2 goes off the air. Lee will start shooting the series on February 27.

Psy receives the Best Cheering Song Award

Psy recently received another meaningful award.

Psy received the Amped Up Anthem at the third Annual Cartoon Network Hall of Game Awards, which was held in the U.S. in mid-February for “Gangnam Style” as the song has been selected as the most popular song among athletes.

The Hall of Game Awards is an athletic game awards sponsored by the U.S. cable channel Cartoon Network. Psy received the award as his song, “Gangnam Style,” has been used in many games as a cheering song. Psy couldn’t attend the awards because he had to go to Malaysia for promotion.

On the official website of the Major Leagues last year, many parody videos of famous athletes dancing to “Gangnam Style” were uploaded. Faces of such popular baseball players as Clayton Kershaw (LA Dodgers) and Andrew McCutchen (Pittsburgh Pirates) were superimposed on the music video of “Gangnam Style.”

The song also received a lot of attention by being played at many Major League games.

Psy danced to the song at the Dodgers Stadium in LA last summer during the match between LA Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.

From last summer till now, “Gangnam Style” has become a big hit all over the world, including Asia, the U.S., the UK, South America, and even the Middle East.

Currently promoting the song, Psy visited Turkey on February 22 and came back to Korea shortly to attend the presidential inauguration on February 24.

Big Bang’s Daesung holds twenty-five concerts in Japan

Big Bang’s Daesung plans to hold twenty-five concerts in nineteen Japanese cities.

Daesung originally planned to hold four concerts in total in Tokyo and Kobe to celebrate the release of his first Japanese solo EP D’scover. Thanks to an explosive response, Daesung decided to add twenty one concerts in seventeen cities.

Daesung has never visited Japanese cities like Hiroshima, Nagasaki, Aomori, and more even as a Big Bang member. He will tour many places in Japan to hold his exclusive concerts.

Daesung said, “I hope that I can approach to my fans closer through the EP and concerts.”

Big Bang has held the ’2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour’ with over 455,000 people. They will perform individually this year and show off their individual power.

Daesung will tour Japan for his first Japanese solo EP and G-Dragon will go on a Dome tour in Japan for the first time as a solo singer. Seungri is also keeping busy appearing on Japanese TV programs.

John Park Smoked His First Cigarette Last Fall

John Park confessed that he smoked his first cigarette while recording his single, “Childlike.”

On the episode of “Talk Club Actors” that aired on February 25, John Park shared, “Last fall, I had to record ‘Childlike’ but I just couldn’t get into the right emotion so I had to drink some vodka before starting.”

He continued, “The problem was, I couldn’t get into the emotion when I was drunk either. So eventually, I smoked a cigarette out of curiosity After smoking a cigarette, I was able to successfully record the song in one take.”

Guest Kim Jang Hoon shared a similar experience. He said, “I have a song called ‘I Don’t Know You‘ and I have almost no memory of recording it.”

Kim Jang Hoon continued, “I couldn’t get into the song so I went to a bar and drank. But on that day, there were a lot of different gatherings in town. In just 40 minutes, I drank 4 bottles [of soju]. The next day, as I was preparing to record, my manger told me that I came into the studio last night and recorded the song.”

Meanwhile, the episode featured other guests such as Ahn Moon Sook and Ahn Seok Hwan.

Kim Bum: “Since My Debut 5 Years Ago, I’ve Never Rested More Than 1 Week at Once”

Kim Bum participated in a fashion shoot with magazine “Elle,” which will be included in the March edition.

On February 26, several teaser pictures were released ahead of time to the joy of many fans. Captured in various angles, Kim Bum gives off different moods sporting different styles of clothing. He confidently stares at his target and he gives off an edgy feel with his various tattoos and accessories.

He also participated in an interview with the magazine after the photoshoot. “I made my debut at age 17 through ‘Outrageous Women’ and also participated in various projects like sitcoms, dramas, and movies,” said Kim Bum. “In the past 5-6 years, I have not rested more than a week at a time. I thought that I was too focused on running forward so I rested for a year and a half. Being able to rest and reflect on the past became a turning point.”

The reporter asked about his real personality. Kim Bum shared, “I tend to not be afraid of changes. There are a lot of fans who are waiting for me to act in melodramatic projects, but I think I still lack in acting that area.”

He continued, “Rather, I’m planning to be more energetic and fun through my character’s relationship with Jung Eun Ji in the current drama I’m in called ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows.’”

DBSK‘s Changmin gave some dating advice to his junior, Secret‘s Han Sun Hwa, which garnered much attention.

On the episode of “Moonlight Prince” that aired on February 26, the guest stars included Han Sun Hwa and actress Yoo In Na.

During the episode, Han Sun Hwa admitted that she was tired of having to act so mature and adult-like all the time so she even thought about seeking psychological help in the past.

Han Sun Hwa said that she just wanted to act her age. To that, Changmin said, “You’re at the age when you want to date a lot of guys. Dating is good but just make sure your agency doesn’t catch you.”

Then Han Sun Hwa asked, “Have you ever dated?” Then Changmin honestly answered, “If I said I never have, I would be lying.”

But Han Sun Hwa’s case was different. She said that she hasn’t dated since she debuted. She said, “I shouldn’t have appeared on variety shows. Ever since I did, my popularity and my air of mystery all disappeared.”
