JYP assures fans that Sun is not leaving Wonder Girls

With the recent news of Sun leaving for missionary work in Haiti for five years with her husband, JYP Entertainment had to step up to assure fans that this did not mean she was leaving Wonder Girls once and for all.

JYP Entertainment said on March 18, "The content Sun personally uploaded onto the home page is all true; she will be spending the next five years in Haiti with her husband for volunteer work.  However, Sun's leaving for Haiti does not mean she is leaving Wonder Girls.  It's true she plans on spending five years in Haiti, but she might return to Korea for a certain period of time."  

Does this mean that if she did momentarily visit Korea while volunteering at Haiti, she will be resuming Wonder Girls activities during that time?

JYP concluded, "It is definitely untrue that Sun will be leaving Wonder Girls due to Haiti."

Toheart’s Key and Woohyun Playfully Throw Punches in Esquire’s April Issue

Key Chooses Tiffany as the Prettiest Female in SM Entertainment

Toheart and SHINee member Key has chosen fellow SM family member Tiffany as the most beautiful member in their company.

On March 18, Key and Woohyun were guests on SBS PowerFM’s “Two O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show” to promote Toheart’s debut album and have a fun discussion with the MCs.

When the topic of ideal types was brought up, the two said, “We have different preferences.”

Woohyun continued, “Our ideal types are different to the point where when I say who I find the prettiest among girl groups, Key goes ‘Really?’” Key said, “Our tastes are similar, but we have different types of females we like.” 

When asked who is the most beautiful among singers in the same agency, Key hesitated a bit at first, “I’ve seen Girls’ Generation so much,” but finally revealed, “Tiffany.”

Hopefully Tiffany and Key have many occasions to get closer and spend time together!

PSY Is in the Final Stages of New Album

Offbeat, comedic singer PSY is reported to make an April comeback. According to a report in a local news agency, buzz surrounding PSY’s comeback has attracted attention both in and out of the music industry. 

PSY’s management agency, YG Entertainment is reported to have said on March 18, “The comeback is not yet officially confirmed, but he is currently working on the final preparation.” PSY is known to be currently in the United States to work on the album. 

The music video was already earlier shot in Incheon with rapper Snoop Dogg and PSY’s YG Entertainment labelmate G-Dragon featuring in it. It further raised interest when 2NE1′s CL, who wasn’t originally planned to appear in the video also participated when she dropped in to visit the set.

PSY made waves in the music scene, both domestic and abroad when his “Gangnam Style” became a viral YouTube hit. His follow-up single, “Gentleman” was similarly well-known worldwide.

“We Got Married” New Couples to Appear on “Radio Star”

Great news for everyone who has been waiting for some juicy and goofy stories shared by the cast of “We Got Married!”

A representative of MBC revealed on March 18 that the cast members of “We Got Married Season 4″ will participate in the filming of “Radio Star” taking place on March 19 at the Ilsan MBC Dream Center.

The couples appearing are 2PM‘s Wooyoung and actress Park Se Young, singer Jung Joon Young, and the latest addition to the show, actor Nam Goong Min and singer Hong Jin Young. Jung Yoo Mi will unfortunately not be joining the others due to scheduling conflicts. She is currently filming MBC’s new drama “Mother’s Garden.”

The upcoming March 19 episode will feature columnist Heo Ji Woong, ex-gamer Hong Jin Ho, rapper Simon D, and Block B member Zico.

Jung Yoo Mi: “I Have No Plans to Leave ‘We Got Married’”

While we saw Yoon Han and Lee So Yeon bidding farewell to the show last week, Jung Yoo Mi seems to have no desire to leave her on-screen husband Jung Joon Young and “We Got Married.”

The actress participated in the press conference of MBC’s new daily drama “Mother’s Garden,” in which she plays one of the leading roles. When asked to share her feelings on acting in movies and dramas, and even appearing on variety at the same time, she replied, “In every way, it has been very tough lately, but it is not time to leave yet.”

“To take care of my physical health, I am giving my body healthy nutrients, but as I constantly don’t have time to sleep, I can’t concentrate. They are pieces that require me to concentrate on everything,” she revealed. 

“In the case of ‘We Got Married,’ even though it seems like we only sit quietly and everything looks easy, it requires a lot of energy. After wrapping up filming in the morning, my stomach is extremely empty. Just recently, we shot our wedding photos, and now we have to do our wedding ceremony, and there are still many things left to do. There are many things to show, and I also grew to like it,” she explained.

She concluded, “There are times when I think of wanting to rest a little. It is physically a bit difficult, and truthfully it is too much for me.”

“Mother’s Garden” is the follow-up drama of “King’s Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang,” and will air on weekdays at 8.50pm (KST).

Crayon Pop Releases Quirky Individual Teaser Photos

After releasing concept photos of the group a few days ago, adorable girl group Crayon Pop released individual teaser photos to get their fans excited for their comeback.

The previous group photos had shown the girl group dressed in very comfortable traditional Korean clothes, with a head scarf and vintage sunglasses added for flavor. The individual teaser photos gives each member a chance to shine, and despite that they are all wearing the same clothes, each member shows a uniquely quirky pose to define herself from the rest. With their sleek silver suitcases, these girls bring a new twist to the term, “Airport fashion.”

Crayon Pop may be the most comfortably dressed girl group yet!

Crayon Pop will make their comeback on March 31.
