New Stills from Upcoming Drama “Emergency Woman and Man” Released

New pictures from the upcoming drama “Emergency Woman and Man” have surfaced on the Internet.

On January, the production team of the cable TV channel tvN’s new drama “Emergency Woman and Man” released several poster pictures as well as some drama stills that included the main actors Song Ji Hyo, Choi Jin Hyuk, Choi Yeo Jin, Lee Pil Mo, and Clara.

Despite the shooting taking much more time than usual, the 5 people looked like they were enjoying shooting for the drama posters and it seemed like the atmosphere around the shooting was pretty much relaxed and fun.

“Emergency Woman and Man” is a story about two people, Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk, who after having divorced each other met again 6 years later during their doctoral internship in the emergency room. 

The first episode will air on January 24.

Tablo Reveals Special Gift from Coca Cola

Epik High member Tablo recently revealed his latest gift from Coca Cola!

On January 2, he posted the photo of the gift along with the caption, “A gift that arrived from Coca Cola.” 

On the label of the bottle of Coca Cola are the words, “Haru’s Daddy.” Tablo feigns surprise upon discovering the cute label. 

Netizens comments, “Coca Cola definite has a knack for these things”, “Haru is so cute! Haru’s dad, fighting!” and “I already miss Haru.” 

In related news, Tablo recently dressed up Haru in a Bruce Lee inspired yellow jumpsuit for her first set of self-defense classes for the latest broadcast of “Superman Returns.” He explained that the word was a scary place to raise a daughter in and wanted Haru to be prepared to defend herself in the face of any danger.

Taecyeon explains his previous tweets came from love for JYP Entertainment

2PM's Taecyeon followed up on his earlier tweets concerning his dissatisfaction with the way things are run in JYP Entertainment, explaining where he was coming from.

Taecyeon tweeted out, "I think it was inappropriate for me to write a public post concerning my agency's management. I hope that you understand that the post came from a lot of affection and passion for my agency JYP to be the best. I will become a Ok Taecyeon who works hard and communicates even better with my agency," and also deleted his previous posts.

The idol previously brought a storm of attention towards the pros and cons of JYP Entertainment following his series of tweets, through which he expressed his concern regarding certain staff members not receiving the credit they're due and his wish for the agency to continue to strive forward and become a company that motivates their employees to work hard to gain internal stability.

“Miss Korea” Cast Lee Yeon Hee, Kim Ye Won, and More to Guest on Radio Star

Make way, “Miss Korea” cast members will be stopping by MBC’s “Radio Star,” and we can guarantee that the guests won’t be leaving without sharing hilarious stories.

The January 8 broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star” will features guests Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Ki Woo, Heo Tae Hee, and Kim Ye Won.  The four guests, all currently starring in MBC’s drama, “Miss Korea,” will have the opportunity to tell funny behind the scene stories, as well have the chance to clear up any rumors.

Furthermore, Lee Yeon Hee’s encounter with “Radio Star’s” MC Kyuhyun is worth watching as the two not only are of the same age, but share the same entertainment agency, SM Entertainment.  Thus, fans can anticipate watching the two friends share inside info of each other. Besides discussion, viewers will also get to see a tangerine eating scene, re-enacting a fast egg eating scene in the previous episode of the drama.

Kim Ye Won’s thoughts on starring in “Miss Korea” after completing her previous sitcom, and actors Lee Ki Woo’s and Heo Tae Hee’s clarification of certain rumors will also be broadcast on the coming episode of “Radio Star.”

Jung Dong Ha to Leave Boohwal After 9-Year Stint as Vocalist

Jung Dong Ha will be leaving rock band Boohwal.

Jung Dong Ha’s exclusive contract with Boohwal Entertainment is up, and he has decided not to renew his contract and will pursue new activities as a solo artist and musical work.

He joined Boohwal in 2005, becoming the band’s longest running vocalist. Jung Dong Ha’s last performance with the group was at Boohwal’s Christmas concert on December 25. It looks like an amicable parting for him, as Boohwal leader Kim Tae Won has said that he will respect Jung Dong Ha’s wishes and has given him nothing but warm encouragement, after working together for more than nine years. 

Kim Tae Won had hinted on his DC Inside Gallery on a January 1 post about Jung Dong Ha’s impending departure. The post had talked about a new beginning, leaving fans wondering if he was talking about Jung Dong Ha leaving the band.

Boohwal has had a total of nine vocalists to date: Kim Jong Seo, Lee Seung Chul, Kim Jae Ki, Kim Jae Hee, Park Wan Gyu, Kim Ki Yeon, Lee Sung Wook, Jung Dan and Jung Dong Ha. Jung Dong Ha has been with the band since 2005, and has participated on albums beginning with 2005’s 10th album “Lyricism,” right up to their 13th album, “Purple Wave,” in 2013. He was the first vocalist to recontract with Boohwal.

Jung Dong Ha received attention for appearing on KBS 2TV’s “Immortal Song 2” in 2012, and has also participated in musicals such as “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat,” “Jack the Ripper” and “Notre Dame de Paris.”

Jung Dong Ha will be getting married to his girlfriend of nine years on January 11, so it looks like 2014 will be a fresh start for him. We wish him the best of luck as he embarks on his new journey!

On January 3, the multi-talented actress Goo Hye Sun has shared her directorial talents by releasing a beautiful and poignant short film called “Pieces of Memories.”

This almost nine-minute film stars the currently enlisted Yoo Seung Ho, Choi Il Hwa and Seo Hyun Jin and is a depiction of how life is a series of pieces of memories.

With the beautifully arranged set, music, artistic direction, lines and acting, this short film is touching and thought-provoking for all ages. “Life was perfectly beautiful just so long as there were those sweet memories,” is one of the many great lines in the film, which is subbed in English.

Taecyeon Expresses Frustration and Gives Advice for JYP Entertainment: “We Need a Reformation”

2PM‘s Taecyeon recently shared his thoughts on his agency, JYP Entertainment, giving his advice and expressing his frustration.

On January 4, Taecyeon tweeted a series of messages on his Twitter starting off with, “If those who don’t help out or have good management get promoted, then what becomes of the people who do help out and manage me? Is this a decision that is understandable? Will fans be able to understand an agency that I can’t even understand as a celebrity? What JYP Entertainment needs for 2014 is a reformation.”

Taecyeon continued, “The agency needs to be a place where people want to work hard instead of just coming in and leaving exactly on time. If the workers of an entertainment agency cannot be entertained, how can the company satisfy the public? Don’t place importance on being part of the ‘Big 3′ or the agency’s name but it’s time to seek for substance.”

Taecyeon left off with, “If our agency wants to aim for the best in 2014, it doesn’t have to do with solely the producer’s strengths but also the workers of the company as well. For the unappreciated jyp staffs but who deserve the actual credit.”

Lee Seung Gi mentions his 'girlfriend' on 'Noonas Over Flowers'

A new episode of tvN's 'Noonas Over Flowers' aired on January 3 and brought up the topic of Lee Seung Gi's girlfriend, who was revealed two days ago to be none other than Girls' Generation's YoonA.

Lee Seung Gi enjoyed some personal time on the show during which he visited various shops to look for presents.  The production team asked, "Are you buying a present for your girlfriend?" to which Lee Seung Gi responded, "Then I would need to buy ten presents."

In addition, Lee Seung Gi had to wait outside while Kim Ja Oke was shopping in a store. The production team again brought up the topic of his girlfriend, asking, "If you were shopping with your girlfriend and she was not coming out like this, what would you do?"  

Lee Seung Gi said thoughtfully, "I think now I would need to wait for her."

Super Junior’s Heechul Feasts on Sheep Tripe with Park Shin Hye And Kim Sung Gyu

Super Junior member Kim Heechul recently met up with Kim Sung Gyu and Park Shin Hye for a delicious meal of sheep tripe. 

He shared the photo on Instagram with the caption, “Kim Heechul, Kim Sung Gyu and Park Shin Hye. At Shin Hye’s sheep tripe restaurant. Now that I’ve eaten sheep, I guess I should count sheep before I fall asleep later.” 

In the photo, Heechul smiles for the camera and Sung Gyu hides his face while Shin Hye strikes a pose during their delicious meal. 

In related news, Kim Heechul impersonated Kim Woo Bin and Park Shin Hye’s characters from the popular drama, “The Heirs” on the latest episode of MBC Every1’s “Weekly Idol.” He also went on to imitate other characters from “The Heirs” such as Kim Tan’s father and mother.

“Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education” Confirms Attendance of Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics

KBS2TV’s variety show “Our Neighborhood Arts and Physical Education” will be visiting the 2014 Winter Olympics.

The possibility was brought up in November, when it was revealed that the program is planning a trip to the grand sports event. On January 3, a representative of KBS’ variety show branch confirmed to Star News that the cast members will indeed attend the upcoming Sochi Olympics.

The Olympics will be held starting from February 7, and the cast will match their departure according to the event schedule. They will stay in Sochi for around a week. 

In May last year, the members shared their wish to attend the Sochi Olympics after winning a bowling match. Not until their recent win in December did the matter become relevant again, and after discussing it further with the producers, the possibility of them attending got even higher. It was revealed that the producers have prepared for this special trip since last year.

The cast members will participate in the sports event by cheering on the sportsmen in a meaningful way that fits the program. 

In related news, the show recently received the Best Team Work Award at the 2013 KBS Entertainment Awards.
