Jang Geun Suk Stirs Up Trouble at Public Camping Site

Jang Geun Suk Stirs Up Trouble at Public Camping Site

Recently, Jang Geun Suk’s misbehavior at a public camping site was reported. On August 16, Jang Geun Suk and his group of friends went on a camping trip to Gyeonggi Province. However, the way they behaved on this trip brought on a lot of public criticism. According to other campers that were present that day, the group created a lot of ruckus with loud music and partying that lasted throughout the night.

A camper that was near the group, Mr. Kim, revealed in an interview, “Jang Geun Suk and his group of friends received a lot of complaints from other campers that were in their vicinity due to their late night partying. Turning off the lights at 11 p.m. is basic etiquette among campers, but they didn’t seem to respect that etiquette. Rather, they had the headlights of their cars on and music blaring, which disturbed the peaceful quiet of the camping site.”

According to Mr. Kim, Jang Geun Suk and his group of friends, who all seemed to be around their 20s, took a spot deeper into the woods. Regardless, because he is such a star, many in the vicinity recognized him. The public opinion is that since he had realized that many of the other campers had noticed who he was, he should have taken even more care in his behavior.

After arriving, the group soon behaved like the site was their own personal camping ground. Their barbecue party lasted into the night past 1 a.m., everyone enjoying their drinks and music. As their drinking party continued, their voices got louder and louder to the point where a fellow camper woke up and complained, asking them to “please stop and go to bed.” Eventually the party was broken up but at this point too many of the other camping families had woken to the ruckus.

The loudness of the party wasn’t the only factor that caused the other campers to complain. One of Jang Geun Suk’s friends had decided to turn on the headlights of one of Jang Geun Suk’s cars, and these headlights had been directed at other campers’ tents. One by one each of the camping families said something to the group, asking them to stop, but despite their numerous efforts, the group’s party didn’t seem to end. An additional complaint by the families was that some of the male members of the group had taken their shirts off and were wandering around the camp site, making some of the families uncomfortable, since many of them had children present with them as well.

According to Mr. Kim, “At the time most of the campers at the site knew that Jang Geun Suk was camping there as well. One of the ladies had gone to ask Jang Geun Suk for a photo but she came back empty-handed because he had refused, saying that it was his private life. I’m wondering why Jang Geun Suk wasn’t careful with his behavior when he was obviously aware that many of the campers had recognized him. I, too, had gone camping with my family to have a time of rehabilitation and bonding. However, this opportunity had gone to waste because of Jang Geun Suk and his friends. I was fond of him as a Hallyu star but through his incident I’ve become disappointed.”

Jang Geun Suk’s management agency released a statement on this matter, saying, “Jang Geun Suk had gone camping with his friends as a summer vacation trip. He hadn’t seen them in a long time so he had unintentionally caused some trouble at the site out of excitement for a long-awaited break. He had apologized on site after receiving the complaints but we apologize for not taking care as a well-known public figure.”

Jo In Sung Joins Worldwide Ice Bucket Challenge

Actor Jo In Sung has joined the worldwide movement after hearing about the ice bucket challenge for a good cause from YG Entertainment singer and executive Sean.

On August 18, Jo In Sung’s agency, IOK Company, released a video on its official YouTube account featuring the “It’s Okay, It’s Love” actor who was ready to take on the challenge in order to spread awareness for the neurodegenerative illness ALS.

“It is my honor to join this meaningful campaign. I hope that those who suffer from Lou Gehrig’s disease and also those who suffer from physical and emotional pain get strength from this campaign,” said Jo In Sung in the video.

Prior to getting doused with ice cold water, Jo In Sung said that he wanted to invite his co-actor Lee Kwangsoo, Im Joo Hwan, and the baseball player who is his namesake, Cho In Sung, to join the campaign as well.

After naming the next challengers, Jo In Sung got himself ready to get drenched in cold water while seated on the tub that is used in his drama, “It’s Okay, It’s Love.” With a tub of ice cold water, Lee Kwangsoo, who was holding himself from laughing, walked behind the actor and proceeded to pour the iced water on Jo In Sung’s head.

Jo In Sung tried his best to coolly take on the challenge and even crossed his arms over his chest but the coldness of the water proved to be very powerful and the actor couldn’t contain his surprise and smiled widely while the iced water was being poured over his head and body. Jo In Sung needed some moment to recover from the icey shock and Lee Kwangsoo even helped him regain some body heat by rubbing his chest.

After gaining his composure, Jo In Sung brightly smiled towards the camera and bid the viewers goodbye.

The “Ice Bucket Challenge” is fast becoming a trend among celebrities and well-known personalities primarily in the United States. The challenge requires participants to film themselves while a bucket of ice water is poured on their head. The participants then have to challenge three other friends who would take on the challenge, or donate $100 to the ALS foundation, and upload the video to a social media site.

Media Outlet Publishes “Date” Photos of f(x)’s Sulli and Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, Both Sides Cautiously Confirm Relationship

Media Outlet Publishes “Date” Photos of f(x)’s Sulli and Dynamic Duo’s Choiza, Both Sides Cautiously Confirm Relationship

Media outlet Dispatch has posted a photo exclusive that appears to show f(x) star Sulli out on an evening date with Dynamic Duo member Choiza.

The story features a series of photographs of what appears to be the two stars out on a walk in the Namsan Park area of central Seoul, although the pair are shown wearing facial masks throughout. Although the photos show the stars walking at some distance from each other, one of the photos seems to show Choiza holding his hand out to Sulli to prevent her from slipping.

Dispatch alleges that the “date” took place on August 10, and that Sulli and Choiza first drove to the park, then went on a walk. They then, allegedly, followed this up by watching a movie (“The Pirates,” in which Sulli stars) at the Namsan Drive-in Movie Theater, in the Jung-gu district of the capital. The media outlet also carries a photograph of what it claims was their car, although the stars are not visible in this picture.

Dispatch reports that an acquaintance of both said the two were in ambiguous state of their relationship when they were first captured together in August of last year. Since then, their relationship continued to progress.

Soon after the publication of the new “date” photos, SM Entertainment, the agency that represents Sulli, responded with the statement, “They are in a supportive relationship,” describing that Sulli and Choiza rely on each other. Amoeba Culture, the agency that represents Choiza, stated, “They are currently getting to know each other and proceeding cautiously in their relationship.” The agency also relayed Choiza’s message that explained his ambiguity in confirming his and Sulli’s relationship. “I apologize for being unable to clearly explain despite the growing suspicions. It was due to various personal reasons. I also apologize for causing many people to worry.” *The message continued, “I realized keeping silent wasn’t the answer as I thought that that her relationship with me shouldn’t be another source of pain for her, since she is already suffering from many vicious and unspeakable comments and rumors.”*

Dispatch had also written in its report that Sulli was caught between being an actress or a singer, and left her team to focus on acting. SM responded to this allegation, saying, “The content concerning f(x) is absolutely untrue.”

The f(x) star is currently on leave from all activities with her group, and rumored sightings of Sulli with Choiza have continued to dominate entertainment news in Korea since late July this year.
