U Kiss visited Jakarta, Indonesia to help the flood victims.

 

According to the publicist of U Kiss on February 4, U Kiss visited Jakarta, Indonesia on February 1. Currently Indonesia is on national emergency because of the flood that caused 200,000 victims.

 

U Kiss’ visit to Indonesia was supported by World Vision, Indonesian Institutions and 1,000 fans who originally was supposed to attend the showcase to help those in need.

 

U Kiss also appear on special Indonesian broadcasts O Channel and Indonesia SC, encouraging the victims and gathering attention to the restoration from this disaster. They also held charity auctions with the stage outfits and autographed CDs and donated all the profits to the flood stricken area.

 

The showcase of U Kiss has been postponed to April under the agreement of Indonesia and the agency of U Kiss. After visiting Indonesia, U Kiss went to Japan, will hold a Valentine’s Day fan meeting with 5,000 fans and return to Korea on February 21. After that, they will be putting all their efforts into the new album that will be released in March.

Actor Lee Jong Seok recently denied all rumors that he is dating actress Jung So Min.

Song Joong Ki announced that he will be leaving Sidus HQ for Blossom Entertainment, home to stars like Cha Tae Hyun, Song Jong Ho, and others.

 

A representative of Blossom Entertainment stated, “We have recently signed an exclusive contract with Song Joong Ki, who is close friends with Chae Tae Hyun. Starting February, he will be promoting as a Blossom Entertainment affiliated actor.” The rep continued, “We’ve been with Song Joong Ki since the beginning as he’s been working with our managers since his debut. Go Young Wook’s Sexual Abuse with a Minor Case Lawyer Leaves, Why?

 

Currently the ex-RooRa member Go Young Wook has been under fire for being charged with sexual abuse allegations with a minor. In an interesting turn of events, Go Young Wook’s defense lawyer dropped out of the case on January 30 according to the court.

 

Back in May 2012, police reports were released regarding Go Young Wook and how he had sexual relations with minors in exchange of promises of making them into a celebrities. There were three cases of sexual assault but two of them were dropped. Then on January 23, the Prosecutor’s Office announced that Go Young Wook will be arrested and indicted for three charges of sexual harassment of a minor.

 

After Go Young Wook’s defense lawyer dropped out, Go Young Wook requested a new lawyer (public defender) and one was designated by the court on January 1. Currently this fact is also causing a stir because it was unexpected. Many thought that Go Young Wook would just have hired a new private lawyer.

 

Currently there are two theories as to why Go Young Wook’s defense lawyer decided to drop out. One is that Go Young Wook did not have the means to pay the lawyer after he was cut off from celebrity activities. Also, the other strange thing about the defense lawyer dropping out is that usually, they take responsibility and stay with a client for the first hearing. It appears as though there were problems regarding payment and Go Young Wook had no alternative other than requesting a public defense lawyer.

 

Others in the South Korean legal industry have postulated that a possible reason why Go Young Wook had so much difficulty in finding a private lawyer is because a lot of lawyers are avoiding Go Young Wook’s lawsuit because it involves sexual abuse with a minor and the case is receiving a large amount of media attention.

Yoon Eun Hye Is Lonely and Is Ready For Love

During the recent interview with TV Daily, actress Yoon Eun Hye revealed her thoughts on dating. Yoon Eun Hye has recently proved herself as a capable actress as she successfully played the victim of a sexual assault in MBC’s “I Miss You.”

Court Gives Jail Sentence to Fabricator of the Late Jang Ja Yeon’s Letters

 

On March 7, 2009, actress Jang Ja Yeon committed suicide at her home. At the time, a huge nationwide scandal broke as her suicide was rumored to be due to her depression cause by the sexual and physical abuse by a number of prominent entertainment executives.

 

In February and October of 2010, an unknown Mr. Jeon provided letters claimed to be from Jang Ja Yeon. The letters stated that she was abused by her own agency’s CEO. However, the letters were found to be fabricated based on the handwriting analysis.

 

Finally on January 30, 2013, the court decided on the sentence for the fabricator of these letters. Mr. Jeon was sentenced eight months of jail term with two years of probation and 120 hours of community service.

Even though there were many sad scenes, the filming set was full of laughter and it was a lot of fun. Some of the actors I’ve worked with in the past were more careful, but I got to joke around with this [“I Miss You”] staff. However, it was really hard fighting the cold. It was really hard displaying certain emotions when it was so cold and it was even more difficult because Soo Yeon would run around without much layers. (Laugh)”

 

The interviewer followed up by asking how she felt after finishing the drama. Yoon Eun Hye revealed, “To be honest, I collapsed when I was filming for the last scene and was rushed to the hospital. I was out of my mind then. I was filming in Yang Pyong and had to come back to Seoul. I think I had four IVs in me. I even had an IV in me while I was resting in the car between shooting scenes.”

 

She continued, “However, I think Park Yoochun had it harder than me physically. That’s why I half-heartedly joked with my staff members. ‘I know that you’re having a hard time [because of me], but don’t show it in front of Yoochun’s staff.’ I was sorry, but thankful to them.”

The indie duo 10cm has released a new mini album. ‘2nd EP‘!

 

To coincide with the group’s upcoming solo concert, ‘Fine Thank You And You?‘ on February 23rd, they decided to release a mini album with 5 new songs. Although they were originally planning to release only 1 new song, they decided to add the 3 new songs they created while preparing for the concert, and the 2 songs that they could not add onto their full length album.

 

The theme of the album is ‘light and happiness’. The title song “Oh Yeah” is a traditional rock song that is bright and exciting, and incorporates Yoon Chul Jong‘s guitar sounds. The mini album also includes the pop song “Don’t Let Me Go“, as well as “Morning Call” and “But I’m Sleepy“.

TIDAK berapa lama dulu seorang penyanyi kita dengan bangga mengisytiharkan dia sebagai peminat Superman. Siti tak pasti dia minat komik atau filem Superman. Tapi kedua-duanya sama. Superman bukan Suparman. Sampai baju T yang dia pakai pun tertera huruf S menandakan Superman. Mungkin dia pun perasan jadi Superman di atas pentas.

 

Siti tak salahkan penyanyi berkenaan. Bukan dia saja yang menjadi pengagum, tidak kiralah sama ada komik atau filem. Kalau ditanya kepada semua kanak-kanak, watak Superman telah masuk ke dalam jiwa mereka. Siti pasti banyak yang tak ambil endah tentang Superman.

 

Setiap kali keluar sequel baru, filem Superman tidak pernah menghadapi masalah atau kontroversi. Semuanya berjalan lancar. Tak ada siapa yang merungut atau bimbang dengan Superman.

KARA’s Han Seung Yeon says, “I don’t share my pay with other members”

 

KARA’s Han Seung Yeon recently talked about her pay.

 

On the episode of SBS TV’s Challenge! 1000 Songs that aired on February 3, Han showed off her talent in singing, teaming up with anchor Lee Yoona and dog trainer Lee Woong Jong.

 

Han said, “I’m here as a host of TV Animal Farm. I didn’t expect that I would appear on this show like this. KARA recently held a concert in Japan, and all members are working individually now.”

 

Host Lee Hwi Jae asked her, “Do you share your pay from the show with other members?” and Han got laughs by saying, “No, I share it with my agency.”

Super Junior’s Ryeowook recently said he misses Leeteuk.

 

On February 2, Ryeowook uploaded a picture of himself on his Twitter account with the comment, “I miss Leeteuk today. It’s Kyuhyun’s birthday, too. Super Junior M are performing on Inkigayo today. Please give us your support.”

 

In the picture, Ryeowook is staring at the camera in a friendly pose with Donghae, Siwon, Eunhyuk, and Leeteuk. Because of the light, their skin looks very white. There’s also Leeteuk, who is currently doing his military service, in the picture.

Moon Hee Jun reveals H.O.T’s income in their prime

Artist Moon Hee Jun revealed H.O.T‘s astronomical income when the group was hitting some of their most successful years.

 

On the latest episode of MBC‘s ‘Quiz to Change the World‘, the singer expounded on the level of success of one of Korea’s hottest boy bands in its age. “From what I’ve heard, our one-year income was somewhere around 100 billion won,” he said. “Adjusting for inflation, it must be around 400-500 billion today.”

 

400 billion won equates to approximately 365 million U.S. dollars.

 

However, Moon Hee Jun went on to say that the members themselves weren’t necessarily rich. “In fact, we didn’t make that much money during that time,” he continued. “I actually was better off when I went solo, when a lot of people thought I was struggling.”

BoA and Taemin Show Sibling-Like Friendship in Making of Video for “Disturbance”

 

After releasing the “choose your own ending” music video of BoA‘s “Disturbance“, SM Entertainment released the making of video on their official SMTOWN Youtube channel.

 

The video introduces BoA as “Asia’s Star” and “Only One and Disturbance Composer.” Taemin is “Manly Guy” and “SHINee‘s maknae.” BoA’s brother, Kwon Soon Wook, is also introduced as the music video’s director.

 

The filming starts at 8AM, and Taemin and BoA do their best to control their laughter during the serious scenes. By 2PM Taemin must say “I Love You” to BoA but the two’s sibling-like relationship makes it difficult for them to do it seriously. The video notes that the music video was made in the style of 80s Coming-of-Age movies.

 

The filming goes on to 12am, and while BoA films her solo shots, Taemin tries to stay awake off screen. The video notes that it only took one take for BoA to complete her tears scene.

At the end of the video BoA says to the camera, “What can we do. If we do this quickly, we can end quickly.” Then she sings a line of SHINee’s “Lucifer” with Taemin.
