Another idol group rumored to be preparing a lawsuit against their label

Another idol group is rumored to be preparing a lawsuit against their label.

According to Segye Ilbo, an idol group A that is gaining a lot of attention as a new hallyu-dol is preparing a lawsuit against their current label so they could dissolve their contracts. The members have already chosen a lawyer to represent them, even though it cost them a lot of money.

The biggest friction between the two is the problem of money balance. Even though the group has had multiple Korean and overseas concerts, they have not been paid properly. However, on the label's side, they are at a loss of what to do because even though they have invested a lot, there is not much profit.

There is a difference in every contract, but in the case of idol groups, many labels take the profit and then distribute it later. In this case, the label has put forth that because of the high costs of promotions, there was no profit.

There are just a few groups who fit the description relatively "new" and has had concerts both in and out of Korea - who do you think it could be?

SM Entertainment's Performance Director and BeatBurger member Greg Hwang has tweeted about the EXO situation.

He tweeted, "It is his own choice, nothing more and nothing less. It's the same condition, but 11 are staying and 1 is leaving... Is the minority weak and the majority strong? Is the relationship between the strong and the weak?* I don't think those apply to this situation. It's just his choice. He left without a word and the rest of them are confused and sad..."

Greg Hwang has choreographed for EXO songs such as 'HISTORY'. Do you think his comment will help or further exacerbate the situation?

SM really make this thing harder..(I think..). I already wrote in my previous entry, sometime its better you keep quite. may be you have good attention, but not everyone think the same. what people see right now is how "HARD" sm try to make KRIS look as BAD PERSON. The betrayer. But what sm can't see or may be forget is their own "bad reputation". dont you think you can use this thing as opportunity to "regain" your reputation back? by think and act more wise? dont make Kris as a bad person. because its just encounter you back. Instead now people seeing Kris as a "victim" of the power that you have. its better to make you all "lost" at the same time you "win" something greater for long term. Long term here is reputation and perception towards SM. Show that you also have and admit your fault. Admit it doesn't mean you lost. Because people will think.. "aahhh..sm not that bad.." and without you even try, people will think that Kris also in fault in this matter. sometime you need to use reverse psychology.

Younha Warns Netizens Who Commented with Malicious Words

On May 16, singer Younha expressed her feelings towards the netizens who left her malicious comments.

On her Twitter, the singer warned, “Our society is so cheap towards each other. It is notably cheap on online communities that utilize anonymous identities. I hope that those people would think in the perspective of those arrows of hateful comments being pointed toward themselves, and try to be warmer to each other. Do you think personal attacks masked as criticism are valid? No one is going to harm you, so you don’t need to be standing on the edge. Also, no one has the right to judge anyone else. Since everyone is valuable and honorable, don’t live your life deluding yourself. This is possibly sympathy. We should try to live in a world which we embrace each other. That is the best! While trying to put each other down, you will be cursed more severely somewhere else.”

The message that Younha wrote towards those who attacked the singer with hateful online messages displayed the constant battles celebrities face against anonymous netizens. We hope that Younha will grow stronger from this incidence.
