Photos of the singer, posted under the title “IU has the body of an elementary school kid? Her proportions are totally goddess-like”, have left netizens surprised and impressed by her figure. The snapshots were taken during the ‘K-pop Festival‘ at the Songdo
Convensia Convention Center last year.

Her black dress and kill-heels were also a topic of discussion. Netizens commented, “I think she’d have more volume if she gained a little weight… Still her face is cute, and she sings well”, “IU’s voice and legs are really pretty. She should thank her parents”, “So beautiful”, and more.

Jung Hyung Don expresses his feelings about being the father of twin girls


Jung Hyung Don expressed his feelings about being the father of twin girls.
 
During the latest filming of MBC‘s ‘Quiz to Change the World‘, the comedian stated, “The fact that I’m a father still hasn’t hit me. [My second daughter] looks more like me, so I feel a bit sorry for her.”
 
Fellow Hyung Don & Dae Jun member Defconn commented, “Jung Hyung Don acts like he’s not wrapped around his daughters’ fingers, but he has them as his background picture on his cellphone and brags about them.”
 
Jung Hyung Don also revealed that not one of his wife’s dishes has tasted bad so far. He also commented on parodying Song Joong Ki (image below), saying, “I’m not afraid to take my clothes off.” MC Lee Hwi Jae added, “I saw there was a scar on Jung Hyung Don’s stomach, and I asked him if he got injured. He said that he received a fat decomposition shot.”

Brave Guys segment on ‘Gag Concert’ discontinued

 
The Brave Guys segment on KBS2TV‘s ‘Gag Concert‘ has been discontinued.
 
According to producers, after the comedians finish filming on the 6th KST, the Brave Guys segment will be officially discontinued. The Brave Guys, who’ve also dipped into the music scene, became a hit after they debuted on the comedy show in February of last year.
 
The last episode of ‘Gag Concert’ with the Brave Guys, Shin Bora, Jung Tae Ho, Park Sung Kwang, and Yang Sung Il, will be aired on February 10th KST.

miss A’s Suzy to miss her high school graduation


miss A‘s Suzy will be missing her high school graduation ceremony.
 
According to JYP Entertainment, though Suzy planned to attend the graduation at Seoul Performing Arts High School on the 7th KST, she’ll be unable to participate due to her schedule.
 
Suzy stated, “I think I had a joyful life as a student. My high school days were really great. I’m now graduating high school and becoming an adult. I’ll be showing the sides of myself I haven’t been able to show due to my age as much as I want from now on.”
 
In other news, Suzy has been cast in the upcoming MBC drama ‘Book of the House of Gu‘, which
will premiere in April.

Kong Hyeong Jin recalls, “SNSD’s Yuri came to my class with no makeup on”

Actor Kong Hyeong Jin recently talked about how he saw SNSD’s Yuri without any makeup on.
 
On the episode of SBS’s Strong Heart that aired on February 5, Kong Hyeong Jin described Yuri’s college life.
 
He began telling the story, “I have been teaching at my university as an alumni professor, and one of my students is a member of SNSD. It’s Yuri who took my class last semester.”
 
He recalled, “Yuri came to a very early class one morning with no makeup on. She was a good student throughout the semester.”
 
Yuri responded, “Of course I call him professor at school. He gives good grades and is very professional at school.”
 
Another member of SNSD, Sooyoung, is also planning on taking Kong Hyeong Jin’s class.

Kim Hyun Joong leaves City Conquest

 
Singer and actor Kim Hyun Joong is taking steps to leave the TV series City Conquest.
 
On February 6, Kim’s agency said, “Kim is currently in discussions to leave City Conquest.”
 
“The production crew for the series and we are taking final proceedings for leaving the series but Kim has practically left the series.”
 
“We have postponed a lot of work to shoot the series. Kim will do his postponed works for a while.”
 
“We also feel sorry for leaving the series because it was a chance for him to meet his fans through the small screen after a long time.”
 
“Since Kim has to tour Japan until March, he will keep himself busy as a singer. Kim is planning to appear on a TV series or a movie later this year. We are reviewing various scripts for him.”
 
The initial plan was for the series to air in the first half of the year on KBS but the plan misfired. The production company for the series and KBS suffered from a conflict because of it.
 
Nam Goong Min and Jung Yoo Mi, who were cast in the series with Kim, are also discussing their appearances with the production company.

K pop star Lee Joon Gi spent a happy time in a toy store.

The actor Kim Tae Hyung recently revealed his inner thoughts and they were quite shocking. He stated on February 4 through Y-Star’s “Star News,” “It isn’t true that my wife murdered my three children because of ‘hardships of life.’”
 
Kim Tae Hyung was referring to the shocking incident which occurred back in August. Kim Tae Hyung’s wife at the time killed their three sons that were not even 10 years old. It was the first time
that Kim Tae Hyung appeared in an interview after the incident.
 
Kim Tae Hyun added, “I now wish that I will go to heaven and meet my children. Currently, I am giving back to the community by giving free acting lessons. It was reported that this incident occurred because I had fought with my wife when we didn’t have enough money to live. That is not the truth. I always made enough money and gave it to my wife. I even paid all of her debts. After the incident, I divorced my wife. She told me that the reason behind her actions were because I did not give her recognition and my parents gave her a hard time. The word forgiveness sounds more like amusement than a real emotion. I have let go of everything now.”

Some unfortunate news as it has been reported that Min Ki Woo Hyun has passed away.
 
Spider Monkey‘s Goyu was the first to acknowledge the tragedy, tweeting, “Many people want to know, so I am leaving this here. My friend Woo Hyun has passed away. Tomorrow is his wake. Please pray for him to go to a good place. Sorry I cannot personally contact you.
 
Min Ki Woo Hyun was featured in Sunggyu‘s solo album as the drummer, and had even appeared in his music video for “60 Seconds“. Fans who heard of the rumors had been worried about him, and now that the news had been confirmed, fans are both shocked and mourning.

On the February 5th broadcast of KBS2TV‘s ‘Moonlight Prince‘, he said, “In the past, I think I was miserable.
 
He explained that he had been extremely burdened by the popularity of TVXQ. He added, “When I was by myself, there would be people who followed me around in taxis. I got nervous when I see even one (sasaeng). When I was walking in the streets, of course there were students in uniforms walking too. But when I saw them, I found myself walking with my head bowed to cover my face. I didn’t think I was lucky. I thought I was very unlucky instead.
 
In the end, he had decided to receive therapy. He revealed, “I received a light consultation. No matter where I went, I thought people were always looking at me, and that I should avoid everyone because they recognized me.

ZE:A5 releases teaser sound clips for “She’s Gone” and “Lovely Days”

 
ZE:A5 has released the teaser sound clips for their Japanese songs “She’s Gone” and “Lovely Days“.
 
As mentioned before, ZE:A5 is a subgroup of ZE:A that will promote in Japan. The subgroup consists of Siwan, Hyungsik, Kevin, Dongjun, and Minwoo.
 
ZE:A5 will be releasing ‘The Classic‘ in Japan on February 7th, and will hold a mini live and free hug event in a few cities.
 
“She’s Gone” and “Lovely Days” will both be included in ‘The Classic’ and it was revealed that “Lovely Days” was written by Kevin himself.

Lee Soo Man asked Jeon Hyun Moo to have a collaboration stage with SHINee?

 
TV Personality Jeon Hyun Moo emphasized that SM Entertainment‘s Lee Soo Man had suggested that he have a joint stage with SHINee.
 
Jeon Hyun Moo used to be just a news announcer on KBS. However, he gained popularity through variety shows such as ‘Star Golden Bell‘ and he eventually left KBS to become a freelancer because he did not want to be limited to a single program. He then signed on with SM C&C in December.
 
On the February 5th episode of ‘Strong Heart‘, MC Shin Dong Yup (also signed under SM C&C) revealed that Jeon Hyun Moo had made his intentions known to everyone by pretending he was consulting them and asking them various questions on SM C&C, causing everyone to laugh. Jeon Hyun Moo then revealed that he had dinner with Lee Soo Man shortly after signing with SM C&C, stating, “Chairman Lee Soo Man stated to me that he wanted me to participate in a variety of things, and not be limited to just being an MC.
 
Jeon Hyun Moo asserted that he had promotional activities for SHINee in Korea while SHINee was busy promoting overseas. The announcer is famous for his SHINee imitations, and his statement caused everyone to laugh. He explained that Lee Soo Man was inferring that he should have his own songs. When the other guests pointed out that he might be interpreting it all wrong, Jeon Hyun Moo said, “That’s what I understood. I think he meant that I should have a collaboration stage with

Hyoyeon’s past word mix-ups crack up the set of ‘Strong Heart’


Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon had the entire studio roaring in laughter with some of her word mix-ups in the past.
 
The members of Girls’ Generation were guests on ‘Strong Heart‘s latest episode, and Jun Hyun Moo, one of the other guests on the show, revealed that Hyoyeon had called him Im Chae Moo before.
 
Hearing this, the other Girls’ Generation members had even more to reveal about Hyoyeon. Tiffany said, “Hyoyeon makes a lot of mistakes when she talks. One time we were listening to Brian McKnight, but she said, ‘Oh Brian McMorning is so good.’” The studio burst into laughter and Hyoyeon explained, “I was trying to say Brian McKnight before any of the other members could, but at the same time, I was watching the members eat McDonald’s morning meal, so I said Brian McMorning.”
 
When asked what she thought was her worst mix-up, Hyoyeon commented, “The worst time was when I said Whoopi Goldberg was Whoopi Golden Retriever,” once again drawing laughs.
 
However, that wasn’t all. Seohyun was quick to point out, ”There’s another one. During ‘Oh!‘, Hyoyeon was supposed to sing, ‘What should I do? The proud person..’, and the second line she was supposed to say later on was ‘What should I do? You naive person..” but instead she combined the two phrases in her head and ended up saying, ‘What should I do? You person with no nose hair’ during live broadcast,” as the audience and guests roared with laughter.

NU’EST’s JR and Nam Bora lean in for a kiss

 
NU’EST has left fans in complete surprise with the release of still cuts from their upcoming music video!
 
After revealing details about their upcoming comeback, they’ve gone ahead to release a few cuts from a scene in the music video, featuring member JR and actress Nam Bora leaning in for a kiss while embracing one another.
 
On the still cut, Pledis Entertainment commented, “Actress Nam Bora made an appearance in the ‘Hello’ music video, and set aside her pure and lovely image and will instead showcase her femme fatale image with her seductive gaze.”
 
The music video is said to depict the story of a man who witnesses his girlfriend meeting up with another man, and worries about the break up that may follow.
 
NU’EST’s 2nd mini-album, ‘Hello‘, will come with five tracks, and will be unveiled on February 13th with the teaser being released ahead of the date on the 8th.

Girls’ Generation‘s Sooyoung surprised the set when she suddenly asked actor Go Hyung Jin to pass on an apology for her to Won Bin.
 
As mentioned before, the 9 members of Girls’ Generation were guests on ‘Strong Heart‘ and discussed various topics. One topic was of course about the recent false scandal between Sooyoung and Won Bin.
 
When she heard that actor Gong Hyung Jin, who was also present, is close friends with Won Bin, she immediately responded, “Please tell him that I’m sorry.” Gong Hyung Jin and the other guests looked puzzled as they asked her, “Why are you sorry? It wasn’t your fault.” She explained, “I know it wasn’t my fault, but I still feel bad that he had to go through with that having people talk about him.
 
She was then asked if the members share everything about their love lives with one another, to which Sooyoung said, “The Girls’ Generation members share our dating stories, but we don’t demand it from each other.

INFINITE to spend time with fans through ’2013 INFINITE- Infinite Rally’


INFINITE has a treat in store for their domestic fans coming up in a month!
 
For all the lucky fans in Korea, the group has decided to hold an event called ‘2013 INFINITE – Infinite Rally‘ on March 1st at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium.
 
The boys are said to have been the ones responsible for the creation of this event as Woollim Entertainment revealed, “We have created a special event for the fans to meet with the members, who have been busy with individual activities, at the request of the members. We think it’ll be a very special time for all the fans in Korea.”
 
Attendance will be given priority to the official fan club members with reservations starting on the 12th, and will open up to the public on the 18th.
 
So for those of you lucky enough to be in Korea at the time, make sure to mark your calendars!

The 3 MCs of ‘Incarnation’ (‘Strong Heart 2′) gather for a friendly photo

 
The new MCs of ‘Incarnation‘ (formerly known as ‘Strong Heart 2‘) recently came together to participate in the poster shoot of the new show.

Yoon Jong Shin posted a selca of the three new MCs and wrote, “Incarnation – The One Who Controls The Heart‘ will air on SBS Tuesday nights at 11.. We’re filming the poster now.. Shin Dong Yup, Kim Hee Sun, and Yoon Jong Shin will be together ^^“.
 
The program has decided to ditch the name of ‘Strong Heart 2′, which it called itself previously, and go with ‘Incarnation’. It will be the program that follows up the original ‘Strong Heart‘, as the talk show had its last episode filming already.
 
The three MCs have already proven themselves on variety shows, and has fans looking forward to seeing how the trio will work with one another on the show.
 
Siwon, Kwanghee, Park Young Kyu, Lee Si Young, and Oh Jung Se will be the first guests of the new show, which will start airing on the 19th.

Jay Park, Park Eun Ji, Ahn Young Mi, and Lee Byung Jin to join the fixed crew of the new ‘SNL Korea’


According to new reports, Jay Park, Park Eun Ji, Ahn Young Mi, and Lee Byung Jin will be joining the fixed crew of the new ‘SNL Korea‘!
 
The program confirmed the news: “Jay Park, Park Eun Ji, Ahn Young Mi, and Lee Byung Jin will be serving as part of the fixed crew of the program… Four fixed crew members have been added and Go Kyung Pyo has left to concentrate on his main career, acting.”
 
In addition to Go Kyung Pyo, it’s said Oh Cho Hee has left the program as well.
 
Jay Park and Park Eun Ji have previous experiences with the program with their one-time appearances as hosts of the show and successfully pulled off comedic acting, drawing in high viewer ratings.
 
Another rep from the show added, “Jay Park has been interested in ‘SNL’ since he lived in the States having watched it there as well, and Park Eun Ji has pulled off stable acting previously so we have trust in both. Please look forward to the two’s efforts.”
 
Ahn Young Mi served as part of the fixed crew up until the season 2 of the show, but she had to withdraw due to schedule conflicts. But as she has deep affections for the program, she has decided to return to participate in the newly-reformed ’SNL Korea’ that will begin airing again on February 23rd as part of the fixed crew.
 
‘SNL Korea’ recently underwent reform with director Jang Jin pulling out of the show in December of last year. The program has been on a one month hiatus since then, and is beginning again this February with the four new members as well as original members like Shin Dong Yup, Kim Seul
Gi, Kim Min Ki, Kim Won Hae, Lee Sang Hoon, Jung Myung Ok, and more.

Actor Ahn Jae Wook undergoes major surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage


It’s been reported that actor Ahn Jae Wook had received surgery for subarachnoid hemorrhage while visiting the U.S.
 
It has been belatedly revealed that on February 3rd, Ahn Jae Wook experienced great pain while eating dinner at the residence of his agency’s CEO in Las Vegas and was immediately transported to the hospital and received surgery.
 
Ahn Jae Wook’s agency revealed, “On the 3rd, he experienced symptoms of indigestion and vomited, and afterwards he suddenly felt an extreme migraine so they immediately called an ambulance and went to the hospital. After a CT scan and an MRI, they heard that they needed to go to a big hospital, and after transferring to another hospital, he was diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage.”
 
After his diagnosis, Ahn Jae Wook immediately received a 5 hour long surgery on the morning of February 4th and is currently resting in the intensive care unit. Fortunately, the surgery went well and he has no problems communicating and moving.
 
The agency stated, “Since he received a big surgery, we need to wait about 3 to 4 weeks and the hospital has requested for his absolute rest. Ahn Jae Wook wanted to tell his fans who must have been surprised by the news to not worry too much and to wait for the next time they can meet again in good health.”
 
Ahn Jae Wook had upcoming performances for the musical ‘Prince Rudolph‘, but schedule changes seem unavoidable.
 
We wish the actor a full and speedy recovery.

Everyone be healthy and receive lots of luck in the New Year.” His fellow member G.O shared, “First, receive lots of luck in the New Year!! I’m missing all our fans like crazy. Girls’ Generation’s Jessica thanks Lee Dong Wook for helping her with acting


Girls’ Generation‘s Jessica expressed her gratitude to Lee Dong Wook.
 
On the latest ‘Strong Heart‘, Jessica discussed how it was acting alongside Lee Dong Wook on the KBS 2TV drama ‘Wild Romance‘. She confessed, “It was my first time acting, and there was a scene I was supposed to cry. But when we started shooting, it was so cold and I was so nervous, I couldn’t get into the right emotion.
 
However, she revealed that Lee Dong Wook had been a big help to her during the scene. She said, “Dong Wook oppa was already crying. I was so thankful he helped me get into the right emotion.
 
In the scene they were discussing, Jessica’s character broke up with Lee Dong Wook while she gave him a pedicure. Lee Dong Wook revealed, “To be honest, I was really nervous too. I had a few hairs on my big toe, so I was self-conscious,” causing the entire studio to burst into laughter.

C-CLOWN’s Ray and Maru to graduate



C-CLOWN‘s Ray and Maru are graduating!
 
Both boys will be attending their schools’ graduations on the 7th KST – Ray, born in 1994, will be graduating from high school, and Maru, born in 1997, will be graduating from middle school.
 
C-CLOWN’s label stated, “Ray and Maru are disappointed because they haven’t been able to attend many school activities while they were preparing to debut and when they debuted. They’re very thankful to the teachers and friends who understood and supported their promotions. C-CLOWN is currently resting from official promotions, and Ray and Maru wanted to meet their friends and teachers to look back on their memories. We’ve adjusted their photo shoot schedule, so they can attend their graduations.
 
Ray commented, “It hasn’t really hit me yet, but I think it will when I say my goodbyes at the graduation. I feel good, and I’m nervous about becoming an adult.” Maru added, “I’m sad because I haven’t been able to live school life much. In high school, I’m going to work hard, so I can be satisfied in both music and school activities.
 
Ray will be going to Jangan University with his groupmate Siwoo, while Maru will be going to Heungduk High School in Chungjoo. The boys are currently working on their new album.

Psy has become the most followed Korean celebrity on the Chinese social networking site Weibo.
 
Psy opened his Weibo account on November 8, 2012, and he currently has over 8 million followers. Before Psy, Jang Geun Suk held the record for the Korean celebrity with the most followers on the Chinese SNS with 7.8 million followers.
 
However, Psy has been promoting actively in China, participating in the New Year’s programs and holding various other performances in China. His promotions in China gave him an explosive number of followers, pushing him to become the #1 Korean star on Weibo.

Time magazine says Psy’s ‘Wonderful Pistachios’ CF not relevant to ‘nut lovers’

 
Time has released a list of the best and worst Super Bowl commercials of 2013.
 
The magazine decided to give a grade to all the commercials aired during Super Bowl XLVII, and the Wonderful Pistachios advertisement featuring Psy and his global hit “Gangnam Style” did less than satisfactory.
 
Time gave the commercial a “D-”, stating: “When Wonderful Pistachios shot this commercial, it wrongly assumed that ‘Gangnam Style’ was about to become a historic piece of pop culture and not a one-hit wonder whose appeal wouldn’t outlast the New Year. There’s little effort here to even remix the song or make it especially relevant to nut lovers. Too lazy, too late.”

Davichi sing theme song for ‘Iris 2′

 
Davichi will be the voices behind the theme song for KBS 2TV‘s upcoming drama ‘Iris 2‘.
 
Along with the duo’s vocals, a 70-piece orchestra played the instrumentals for the ballad, “Do You Not Know“. Kang Min Kyung and Haeri stated, “As Baek Ji Young sunbaenim’s song for the ‘Iris‘ OST ‘Don’t Forget‘ received so much love, we feel a bit of pressure, but we also want to get a better response.”
 
In other news, the members of Davichi are preparing to release a full-length album, the second since their debut five years ago.

G.O, Seungyeon, Siwan, Ji Eun, and Sunggyu to cameo in upcoming KBS sitcom

 
MBLAQ‘s G.O., KARA‘s Seungyeon, ZE:A‘s Siwan, SECRET‘s Ji Eun, and INFINITE‘s Sunggyu will all be making cameos in the upcoming KBS2 sitcom ‘A Bit of Love‘ (‘Remaining Love‘).
 
According to KBS reps, “The idols are not fixed cast members, but for about three weeks, they’ll appear as the younger versions of the five main characters and leave a strong first impression.”
G.O. will be playing the younger role of manly man Lee Jae Ryong, while Siwan will play the main character’s crush (Kim Tae Hoon). Ji Eun is set to play the feminine character of Do Ji Won, while Sunggyu will play weak-bodied Lee Hoon. Seungyeon is warming up her acting chops by playing the main character’s (Kim Sun Mi) younger self.
 
It’s reported that the producers of ‘Immortal Song 2‘ had a hand in picking the idols.

Big Bang‘s G-Dragon has been picked up as the latest endorsement model for The Saem. He’ll be promoting the makeup brand alongside singer IU, who became its exclusive model last year.
 
The Saem stated, “As we felt G-Dragon would best express our 2013 campaign ‘Global Echo The Saem’, we’ve chosen him as the ‘Global Echo Star’. G-Dragon was chosen as the most beautiful face to represent the free-spirited, happy, colorful aspects of nature.”
 
G-Dragon has already begun shooting commercials, starting his official promotions for the brand this past February 4th. He also tweeted the photo below from the commercial shoot to give fans a better look at the concept.
 
The advertisements featuring G-Dragon will be revealed starting in March.

Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun chosen as ‘most motherly idol’ on ‘Weekly Idol’

Girls’ Generation‘s Seohyun was voted as the ‘most motherly idol’ on the latest filming of MBC Every1‘s ‘Weekly Idol‘.
 
Idols chose among their peers to find “the best 7 idols who look after their members like a mom.” L was voted as the member of INFINITE who takes care of his fellow members the most regardless of age, Dojoon was picked out of B2ST, and SHINee‘s Key is said to watch over the maknaes of his group.
 
However, Seohyun of Girls’ Generation topped the list as the maknae who complains to and look after her older members, earning her the image of “motherly” idol.

Actress Lee Si Young talks about her ‘Running Man’ experience


Actress Lee Si Young talked about her experience as a guest on SBS‘ ‘Running Man‘.
 
The actress as well as MMA fighter Chu Sung Hoon appeared on the February 3rd ‘fighter special’ of the show. Lee Si Young was praised for jumping into the action of the competitive reality program without hesitating.
 
She stated, “I’m thankful for the compliments from everyone. I know that the whole concept of ‘Running Man’ is to compete for the win. The director must’ve looked forward to some aspect of my appearance on the show when he invited me. That’s why I worked even harder.”
 
Lee Si Young went on, “In Yoo Jae Suk‘s case, he’s someone who tries to make the guests and those around him shine. Even before filming, he gave me advice about what I should do. It’s been a while since I’ve been on a variety show, and I think I may have wrestled too competitively.” She also added that she has no intention of becoming a fixed member on a variety show.
 
In other news, Lee Si Young is starring in the film ‘Man Manual‘, which premieres on February 14th.

Fans of Yunho have utilized Twitter to celebrate his birthday.
 
The leader of TVXQ celebrated his 27th birthday on February 6 (KST). Fans all over the world gathered to trend the tag #Happy28thYunho, as he turned 28 in Korea.
 
But that’s not all. Yunho’s fans have a famous history of donating incredible amounts to charity, and they didn’t pass up the chance to donate on his birthday. Yunho’s fans donated 2.6 tons (approximately 5,700 lbs) of rice and 2,820,000 KRW (approximately $2,600 USD) with a total value of 10 million KRW ($9,200 USD) to charity.

YoonA in particular stated she experienced a bit of deja vu as she was the first guest on the premiere of ‘Strong Heart’ back in October 6th, 2009 and she once again appeared as one of the final guests on the very last show.
