It was followed with the other members saying “apa kabar!” While the youngest added, “saya yang paling muda, Gongchan,” (I’m the youngest, Gongchan.) with a bright smile.Their arrival and event makes it even more special – not visiting the neighboring countries like Malaysia or Singapore, they came straight to Soekarno Hatta International Airport in Jakarta where Banas has been patiently waiting and gave a big cheer, to which all the members remembered and felt so thankful.

MBC’s ‘Dad, Where Are You Going’ sees a dramatic upsurge in ratings

MBC‘s new variety show on the block, ‘Dad, Where Are You Going‘, appears to be the hottest trend on Sunday television nowadays. Its latest episode garnered ratings of 13.0%, which surpasses KBS‘s ‘Happy Sunday‘ (‘Qualifications of Men‘ + ‘1 Night 2 Days‘) into comfortable second place territory. ‘Happy Sunday’ dropped a whopping 3.3% from last week, scoring 10.3%.

The show seems to have single-handedly pulled MBC’s struggling Sunday variety block out of the water, having repeatedly proven its success with an unbroken string of weekly gains since its first episode 10 weeks ago.

However, the show still remains below SBS‘s venerable ‘Good Sunday‘ block (‘K-Pop Star 2‘ + ‘Running Man‘), which held on to first place this week with combined ratings of 15.4%.

Psy supports Se7en’s upcoming army enlistment

With just a few days remaining until artist Se7en will have to enter the South Korean army for his mandatory service, fellow YG Entertainment artist and world star Psy sent him a cheerful bouquet, reminding him that time passes quickly.

“Psy hyung thank you very much,” Se7en posted to his Twitter account earlier today. The bouquet reads, “Time will pass!! Fighting PSY” on one side, and “Stay safe Private Choi!” on the other.

Psy is in perhaps a unique position to dole out army advice, seeing as how he is one of the few – if not the only – South Korean citizens to have served in the army twice.

Casually draping their arms over each other, the SS501 brothers prove that their long-lasting friendship hasn’t gone away.

Cast of ‘Running Man’ holds a battle to conquer the Master Sword

The latest episode of ‘Running Man‘ saw the cast and crew transported back in time to wage battle to find and capture, in ‘Legend of Zelda‘ fashion, the ‘Master Sword’!

Themed as a prequel to the previous two episodes in Hanoi and Macau, the sword granted a special power to its current holder.

Dressed in traditional ao dai, the cast members – with guests Lee Dong Wook and Han Hye Jin – fought over the rights to gain power over the Master Sword, with HaHa taking the initial power to freeze anyone in time. However, as the game progressed, different cast members took control over the sword, wielding different powers.

The final winner was ‘ace’ Song Ji Hyo, who took advantage of the similar color of her clothes to the extras to blend into the landscape and extract a win against her final opponent, Han Hye Jin.

Although Song Ji Hyo was the winner, her sword was split apart into different pieces and scattered all over Asia, setting the stage for the future – and the previous Hanoi and Macau episodes of ‘Running Man’.

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk rose as the self-proclaimed ‘nagging king’ among his bandmates.

On the latest episode of MBC‘s ‘Magic Concert‘, the rock band member confessed that his nickname among his friends was the ‘nagging king’.

“I prioritize cleanliness and perfection, so I always nag my fellow members,” he said.

MC Jung Jun Ha was annoyed himself, saying, “Is your role model Yoo Jae Suk? Why do you nag so much?”

The CNBLUE members had also previously named Minhyuk as the most annoying member in the group in another previous broadcast.

Minhyuk wasn’t put off by his frustration, however. “If I see anything wrong today, I’ll nag without
hesitation,” he promised

Jinwoon, Baro, and Go Jun Hee have a love triangle on ‘Shindong’s Shim Shim Ta Pa’

Go Jun Hee finally got to meet the idol of her dreams!

Even though 2AM‘s Jinwoon is her on-screen husband on ‘We Got Married‘, Go Jun Hee had stated multiple times that she was a huge fan of B1A4‘s Baro.

On March 10, both Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee were guests on MBC‘s ‘Shindong’s Shim Shim Ta Pa‘. Shindong asked Go Jun Hee, “On ‘We Got Married‘, you’re obviously a fan of Baro. Do you know how old he is?“. Go Jun Hee answered confidently and correctly, “He was born in 1992.

Jinwoon complained, “She keeps talking about other men.” Shindong asked Go Jun Hee, “You’d be more nervous meeting Baro for the first time than meeting your husband Jinwoon. YES or NO?“. Go Jun Hee immediately answered, “NO!“. However, Baro suddenly appeared in the studio right after that, startling her. Shindong repeated the question, and Go Jun Hee answered, “NO” again. However, the lie detector detected that she was lying, sending the studio into loud laughter.

Actor Yoo Hae Jin to join ’1 Night 2 Days’

KBS has found someone to replace actor Kim Seung Woo on ‘1 Night 2 Days‘.

As previously reported, ’1N2D’ will be going through some major format changes including a PD swap. With Kim Seung Woo also making the announcement of his departure from the program, it’s been decided that actor Yoo Hae Jin will be taking his place.

On March 11, Yoo Hae Jin’s agency confirmed the news and revealed, “His first filming will take place on the 29th. Yoo Hae Jin has a straightforward personality and he loves traveling, so we believe he’ll do well on ’1N2D’.”

Yoo Hae Jin has received much love for his comical image in films. However, he rarely appears on variety programs so viewers are anticipating to see him interacting with the ’1N2D’ crew.
