We reported on April 8 that actress Lee Yeon Hee and 2PM‘s Taecyeon would be starring together in the upcoming movie “The Eve of Marriage (working title).”

 

The movie also stars Kim Kang Woo, Kim Hyo Jin, Joo Ji Hoon, and Go Jun Hee, among many others. This star-studded movie will follow four couples during the week before their wedding day. Kim Kang Woo and Kim Hyo Jin play one of the couples, while Taecyeon and Lee Yeon Hee play another. Taecyeon will play a chef who is Lee Yeon Hee’s fiancé. Unfortunately for Taecyeon, Joo Ji Hoon, who will play a webtoon artist, comes between the couple to shake things up.

 

A recently revealed still cut from the movie shows Taecyeon and Lee Yeon Hee in a wedding photo looking like sweet newly-weds. Netizens who saw this photo commented, “They look so good together,” “They look like real newly-weds,” and “Both of them are so good-looking.”

 

Taecyeon is also currently playing the “husband” to Taiwanese idol Gui Gui in the MBC variety show, “We Got Married Global Edition.”

At the recording of MBC Every1‘s “Extreme 7,” MC Lee Hwi Jae revealed that he is actually close friends with Jung Yong Hwa and shared a small fact about him to prove it.

 

He said, “Back in 2010, when Jung Yong Hwa was recording

MBC‘s ‘Eco House,’ he ate a lot of meat and it never affected his skin complexion.”

 

A participant on the show that was a self-professed auntie fan of Jung Yong Hwa added, “That was when Yong Hwa became famous for his meat-loving mania” and promised to gift the idol with the highest quality meat next time. 

 

Not only that, the auntie fan also revealed that she had invested about 25 million won (equivalent to roughly $25,000 USD) in the idol! She also revealed on the show the expensive watch she was planning to give to Jung Yong Hwa, causing MC Lee Hwi Jae to feel slightly envious.

Channel A‘s documentary ‘Like A Miracle‘ filmed the story of Kim Dong Hee, a 20 year old who has suffered from cancer since he was in the 10th grade. He was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma and spent three years of high school in and out of the hospital. However, he never gave up on his life and even took the college entrance exam to successfully become a college student. In a tragic turn of events, even when the tumor was removed from his spine, the cancer cells had already spread to his lungs, and he even stopped his chemotherapy treatments.

 

When Mir heard of Kim Dong Hee’s story, he pushed aside all of his other schedules and requested that wanted to appear on the show. He revealed that when he was young, he had problems with his lungs and he had to be hospitalized for a long time, so he could somewhat relate.

 

Before they met, Mir prepared a handmade lunch for Kim Dong Hee, making sure to include the meat that Kim Dong Hee loved. They talked for a long time and Mir told Kim Dong Hee to call him hyung. Mir then went on to help Kim Dong Hee as much as he could to fulfill the list of things Kim Dong Hee wanted to do, and even prepared a surprise birthday party.

 

Looks like Mir really has a heart of gold! The documentary will air on May 12.

Fanclubs from Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, China, and

Thailand had gifted the staff members with sunblock and moisturizer while they were filming in the scorching heat of Indonesia. The PD said, “Thank you for thinking about the staff. We’re going to work hard to give back to the fans who came so far to visit us to give us strength during the hot weather.”

 

The episodes that were filmed in Indonesia will begin airing this Sunday on May 12.

Psy revealed the secrets of his success to Harvard students.

 

1,000 students came out to hear Psy give his lecture at Harvard’s Memorial Church. Recalling back to his four years at nearby Boston University where he studied management, he said, “Who could have known I’d come back to Boston after 14 years and lecture at Harvard? It’s weird. I think that’s why life is so beautiful. I gotta be humble. This doesn’t happen to everybody.”

 

He confessed, “During college, my nickname was ‘WWF’. It’s not World Wrestling Federation but stood for Withdrawal, Withdrawal, and Fail.” He also shared humorous stories of trying to obtain medicine for his stomach with his limited English and only knowing a few words such as ‘taxi’ and ‘bus’.

 

On the success of “Gangnam Style“, he said, “It was like an accident, and it doesn’t happen often. The reason why people all over the world like me even though I’m not good looking nor fit is because I’m fun. I’m happy and surprised that even though people don’t know Korean, they enjoy my music and my performances. I can’t say I am the best, but I can say that I’ve tried my best for the last 13 years as an artist.”

Moon Hee Jun revealed how hurt he was from false articles that claimed he’d committed suicide.

 

He was a guest on a recent recording of ‘Quiz to Change the World‘, and he talked about the dark times when he suffered from hate comments. He said, “For 6 years, I only put out music and performed at concerts. I never came out on variety shows, since whenever I opened my mouth, it would all be misunderstood. Some articles came out saying that I committed suicide because I was releasing music but never was seen promoting it. When those rumors were spreading, random people would sometimes see me and say, ‘Huh? He’s alive?’. I heard that for around 2 years.”

 

He added, “Since I kept hearing that, I thought, is it weird that I’m alive? I was okay, but it hurt because so many people around me were like that. So when people talk of the past, I get hurt a little.”

 

Thankfully, Moon Hee Jun is famous for winning over all of the past hate comments and planting a successful solo career as both a musician and a TV personality.

With the summer season approaching, Nell is receiving a flood of love calls from domestic rock festivals, becoming the #1 most requested band!

 

In response to this, Woollim Entertainment said, “Every rock festival in Korea requested their appearance. They’re trying to attend as many rock festivals as possible to meet with their fans. But realistically, it’s not possible to attend everything, so they feel disappointed about it.”

 

So far, Nell has confirmed their attendance for the Rainbow Festival and the Insan Valley Rock Festival in June and July, and they’ll be performing their hits like “Time to Walk Memories” and “White Night“.
