Park Jin Young Exposes Yang Hyun Suk Had a Secret Girlfriend in the Past

On the December 3 episode of KBS2 sports variety show “Our Neighbor Arts and Physical Education,” singer Park Jin Young appeared as a guest and had a chance to look back the days when he was in a relationship. He recalled those days and said, “When I was at the peak position on the music chart with my song ‘Don’t Leave Me,’ I revealed that I had a girlfriend.”

He said that it felt like his fans left his side. He explained, “I hated it when others hid their relationships, saying ‘I actually have a girlfriend, it’s you all.’”

Fellow cast members from the show asked him if there had been a particular celebrity who made him mad by concealing a relationship. Park Jin Young aroused laughter by answering “It was Yang Hyun Suk,” imitating the famed YG CEO’s voice.

Perhaps the secret girlfriend was former Swi.T member Lee Eun Joo who is now his wife and mother of two children?

Actor Joo Won made a surprising confession about what type of body he is attracted to. Actress Kim Ah Joong and Actor Joo Won were on the recent recording of the JTBC show, “Witch Hunt,”  to promote their movie “Catch Me.”

On this day of recording, Jo Won stated that he found the stomach to be the most appealing out of the women’s body. He stated that he wish that there was some stomach fat, but it would be even better if there was a lot of fat that it folded over.

The male MCs on the show are well-known for their persistent questioning. Joo Won became very flustered by their rather risque jokes. 

The netizens showed interest in Joo Won’s surprising confession by making comments like, “I guess I have hope then” and “There are guys who have that kind of interest?”

An exclusive report by news media outlet OSEN has revealed that the talented actress and variety show star Song Ji Hyo has been cast to lead tvN’s tentatively named drama “A May’s Garden” set to air after “Reply 1994.” She will be joined by actor Choi Jin Hyuk, currently appearing in the drama “The Heirs,” as the other lead in tvN’s latest project.

According to OSEN’s sources, Song Ji Hyo and Choi Jin Hyuk have been cast as the two leads in tvN’s tentatively named drama “A May’s Garden.” It is supposedly set to be a romantic medical drama, penned by scriptwriter Choi Yoon Jung, whose previous work include “Lie To Me” featuring Yoon Eun Hye and Kang Ji Hwan, and MBC’s “Running9.”

According to OSEN, the synopsis for the drama involves the story of a couple who figure out the true meaning of love after going through the whole process of dating, marriage and divorce. The setting of the drama will be a hospital where the fight between life or death in the emergency room helps the two lead individuals to finally develop as a person in a genuine way. 

The story is set to be a fresh take on the tried and true romantic medical drama concept through this concept of a previously separated reuniting at the hospital and developing together once again. The character names will supposedly be Jung Oh Wol and Oh Jung Won with a lot of people in the industry eager to see how the two actors work together in what is their first project together.

 tvN has recently been making a name for itself for airing a series of solid dramas, with fresh ideas and solid stories such as the “Reply 1997-1994” series, “Who Are You,” “Monstar,” “Nine,” “Flower Boy Next Door” and numerous other hit dramas. Their recent ability to show off dramas of a different cut to what viewers have become used to on the main terrestrial broadcasters has seen the channel rise in prominence in recent years. Given this kind of track record, it’s reasonable to be quite expectant about “A May’s Garden,” especially given that it will replacing the current hit tvN drama, “Reply 1994.”

Actor Lee Dong Wook talks about his dating life and status on 'Taxi'


Lee Dong Wook opened up quite a lot on this week's episode of 'Taxi'! The actor discussed being single, his thoughts on marriage, and more.


He was asked, "Did you have a girlfriend who you considered marrying?"


Lee Dong Wook said, "I did think about it. How would it be to marry this person, those kinds of imaginings. However, it was not serious. Even now, I'm not really close to getting married." He also said his last relationship ended about six or seven months ago.


The MCs mentioned that it might be a good time to have a girlfriend now, but Lee Dong Wook replied, "I'm not interested... I am single, and it feels comfortable because there are no restrictions... I need to meet someone who I'm interested int, but there aren't many opportunities. And it's not like I can go on blind dates."


He was also asked, "Do you think you dated as much as you should've during your twenties? Or are you disappointed?"


Lee Dong Wook replied, "I dated enough... Rather than saying the number of dates was high, there were a couple of long-term relationships. I dated for two to three years. I think it is important that we shared the same long time together."


He was also asked whether he changed while dating. The actor responded, "I even took a selca and sent it once," to everyone's surprise. The MCs were taken aback when he continued that he even sang Mozart's lullaby to a girlfriend before. Hong Eun Hee let out a shriek, and Kim Gu Ra remarked, "You're the worst."


Lee Dong Wook just said, "My girlfriend's reaction was good."

Joo Won says he would serenade his girlfriend if she wanted


On December 2 KST, the cast and crew of the movie 'Catch Me' held a screening and press conference with leading stars Kim Ah Joong and Joo Won.


In the movie, Joo Won's character passionately sings Kim Dong Ryul's "Should I Say I Love You Again" in a crowded area at the request of Kim Ah Joong's character.


Joo Won was asked, "Do you think you could sing for your girlfriend outside like you do in the movie?" He responded, "It is definitely possible... If a person I loved were to ask me, I could definitely do it. I have no reason not to," showing his sweet and romantic personality.

Rain starts filming in America for Hollywood action film 'The Prince'


It was revealed that Rain was cast in Brian A. Miller's new action thriller 'The Prince' as a character named Mark, who is friends with Bruce Willis's character, Omar.


He left Korea on November 30 to start filming in America on December 1.  He let all of his fans know about this by changing his Twitter profile picture to the one below, which looks to be a sign on his trailer as it says 'The Prince' and 'Mark,' his character's name.

Rain also plans on returning to Korea to come back as a singer on January 6 so expect a lot of Rain from hereon.

On December 3, the cast members of KBS 2TV's 'Cool Kiz on the Block' celebrated their second victory at J.Y. Park's house.



His house was revealed to be a large house enclosed by a high wall with CCTV and boasting a basketball court.  As soon as the cast members arrived and saw J.Y. Park's home, their jaws dropped.



Kang Ho Dong even said, "Wow, this is killer."



However, John Park said, "I don't even think J.Y. Park would have sasaeng fans, so this is a waste of money," making everyone laugh.

Hyorin, the member of Sistar who also recently released her solo album, acknowledged her resemblance to comedian Jung Juri.

On December 2, Hyorin appeared as a guest on the KBS 2TV’s variety program “Hello.” A discussion led to the hosts asking Hyorin whether she was told she resembles another celebrity. Her answer was unexpected, but it aroused laughter from the audience and viewers.

The show introduced the concern of a young man who had a close resemblance to comedian Lee Young Ja and how his similar appearance to her made his life difficult. The hosts and guest stars discussed the topic and revealed the names of other stars whom they shared similar features. One of the hosts of the show Jung Chan Woo said, “Only my eyes look like Jang Dong Gun,” and guest star Sonya remarked, “My forehead is similar to S.E.S Eugene’s forehead.”

Hyorin displayed her cool and honest personality saying, “I don’t really see it, but I’ve had people tell me I look like Jung Juri unnie.”

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun mentioned SM Entertainment’s SMRookies member Seulgi in a Twitter post on December 3.

Posting on his official Twitter account, he said, “Haa~ I had to log into Twitter. That’s not the right title for the article! She’s not ‘my girl!’ I’m just a regular sunbae wishing for all the best! Anyway, SMRookies? Seulgi, Jeno, Taeyong, I hope that you all become the romance of all, not just one. Hoping for a warm ending keke,” protesting many a news article title with some aegyo, while showing his caring side as a sunbae.

Kyuhyun’s tweet was in reply to a press article which talked about Seulgi’s impending debut, calling her “Kyuhyun’s girl” in the title. In an August broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” it came up that Seulgi was an SM trainee that Kyuhyun was keeping an eye on. Kyuhyun had denied it at the time saying, “That’s not the case.”

Seulgi, Jeno and Taeyong have been revealed as members of SMRookies, a pre-debut group who are expected to participate in a wide variety of activities such as music, concerts and variety shows before their debut.

Actor Lee Sun Kyun dons a school uniform for his role as Kim Hyung Joon in MBC’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “Miss Korea.”

Lee Sun Kyun plays “queen maker” Kim Hyung Joon, the man who will transform elevator girl Oh Ji Young (Lee Yeon Hee) into Miss Korea in order to save his failing company.

In still cuts released on December 3 of a filming session at a high school in Seoul, Lee Sun Kyun presents a different side to his usual charismatic look. Having never worn a school uniform since his debut as an actor, it was said that Lee Sun Kyun could not look at himself in the mirror.

Lee Sun Gyun was slightly embarrassed to be in school uniform, and there was constant laughter on set. Playing a fellow classmate, Lee Sun Gyun filmed together with actual high school students, and was initially so shy about it that he had trouble speaking.

However, like the consummate actor he is, he managed to play the role of the ingenuous high school prankster naturally, eventually getting the hang of it. “Will this be the last of the school uniform for me? I need to bask in this a little longer,” he said, lingering in front of the mirror.

A representative who was on set with the actor said, “I was surprised because the school uniform looked better on Lee Sun Kyun than I expected. Lee Sun Kyun has showed his transformation in ‘Miss Korea,’ please anticipate the drama.”

“Miss Korea” is an SM C&C production, starring Lee Sun Kyun, Lee Yeon Hee, Lee Mi Sook, Lee Sung Min, Song Sun Mi, Lee Ki Woo, Go Sung Hee, and Jewelry’s Kim Ye Won. Lee Sun Kyun reunites with the cast and crew of  ”Pasta” and “Golden Time” for this drama.

SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo Man is back as the wealthiest celebrity shareholder.

According to the information released on chaebul.com on December 3, Lee Soo Man’s shares are worth roughly 186,680,000,000 won ($176,000,000), edging out Yang Hyun Suk to number two, and taking the spot as the wealthiest celebrity shareholder.

While Lee Soo Man’s worth in shares has fallen by 8,350,000,000 won ($7,900,000), Yang Hyun Suk’s has decreased by a much larger amount of 48,700,000,000 won ($46,000,000), which resulted in the ranking switch.

On one hand, Park Jin Young, after the merger with JYP Entertainment and JYP, jumped to third place, with a four times increase in his amount of holdings from 7,400,000,000 won to 24,600,000,000 won ($6,900,000 to $23,200,000).

In fourth place is Bae Yong Joon, a large shareholder of KeyEast, with 23,870,000,000 won ($22,500,000), and in fifth is Park Soon Ae with 7,500,000,000 won ($7,000,000).

Also placing on the list of richest shareholders were Jang Dong Gun, Kang Ho Dong, and Shin Dong Yeop.

She wrote along with picture, “Revealing my boyfriend. He was actually my boyfriend in the music video.”

Juniel and Lee Jong Hyun have come together for a duet single album with the title song “Love Falls.” The song is composed by Lee Jong Hyun, and the lyrics are written by Juniel. The two talented artists will also be acting in the music video together as young high school students falling in love.

The music video teaser for “Love Falls” will be revealed December 6, and the full MV as well as the album drops December 9.

Idol group ZE:A’s Im Siwan is becoming a rising star in the movie world.  On December 3, according to an official in the film industry, Im Siwan has been seriously considering a role in the movie “Night Study.”

“Night Study” is a movie about two best friends, who in the middle of their evening studies preparing for college entrance exams, are interrupted by zombies, and must do whatever they can to survive.

The new movie is a collaboration between the production of Studio Dream Capture, which brought in 5,600,000 viewers with the movie “Hide and Seek,” and director Park Shin Woo, who directed the movie “Into the White Night.”

Even other than “Night Study,” Im Siwan has apparently received a lot of offers. Since the start of his acting career with last year’s MBC drama “The Moon That Embraces the Sun,” KBS’s “Man From the Equator,” and “Waiting For Love,” he has gotten a lot of good reviews for his acting. The ZE:A member also got good reviews for his upcoming movie, “The Attorney,” which will premiere on the eighteenth. 

“Night Study” will begin filming in the first half of 2014.

The beloved Jo Jung Chi and Jung In couple revealed their wedding photos on top of Jiri Mountain.

On December 3, Jo Jung Chi and Jung In tweeted photos of their climb to the top of the mountain. Jung In especially expressed her affection for her husband through posting a photo of the couple leaning towards each other for a kiss.

Another photo revealed Jung In wearing a cute corsage on her head rather than a glamorous wedding dress. She confessed about the corsage, “I actually made this in a rush with the fabric I bought to make curtains.” Jo Jung Chi added his own description of the photo saying, “The couple that endured the strenuous climb to reach the peak of the mountain.”

Jung In reminisced about her wedding and wrote, “A pretty ring made with stars, the sound of fellow climbers singing through their noses, the beautiful sunrise we thought we were going to miss because we woke up late, promise.”

Meanwhile, the couple made their marital status official by registering their marriage on November 29.
