JYJ returns to Japan for the first time in 4 years in grand style

JYJ will finally be returning for official promotions!

 

And they’ll be doing it with a bang – the trio will have a 3-day concert at the Tokyo Dome. Their label said, “JYJ will be meeting their fans in Japan for the first time in 4 years. This Tokyo Dome concert will go on for 3 days, and it means a lot in various ways. We will be revealing the details of the concert within the week.”

 

There were rumors that the boys had been approached by famous Japanese labels after the end of their lawsuit with Avex. Hopefully the fact that they’re standing on stage for their Japanese fans means they now have a stable career in front of them in Japan!

INFINITE’s Woohyun is up next in a duet project called “Cactus”

 

Remember when we predicted that Woohyun might be up next as INFINITE‘s subunit/solo projects?

 

We were right! Woohyun will be releasing “Cactus” with singer Lucia on the 27th. The song is the 2nd project from ‘Re;code‘, the same project that produced the mega-hit ”Officially Missing You, Too” by Geeks and Soyu. While the project doesn’t really mean official promotions from Woohyun, you can still hear his amazing voice through the song.

 

The song originally comes in two versions, one by Epitone Project‘s Cha Se Jung and another by Lucia herself. In the re-edited version, Woohyun’s own voice will be mixing perfectly with Lucia’s original.

BTOB‘s Ilhoon treats fans to his version of the “Cutie Song” in the most aegyo-filled clip of 2013

Although BTOB‘s Ilhoon may have just graduated from high school, but he is still clearly a kid at heart.

 

Earlier today, Cube Entertainment uploaded Illhoon’s version of the ”Cutie/Kiyumi Song“. If you watch Korean variety songs you will be familiar with the song since it s currently all the rage. Basically, there are stages of aegyo, each one a bit cuter than the last. It’s a running gag to get adults or people who wouldn’t normally do aegyo to sing the song, much to the laughter of those around them.

 

What makes Ilhoon’s so interesting is that he sings the song quite comfortably, with no signs of laughter or embarrassment. He sings with full abandon, adding his own unique and tons of uber-adorable hand gestures, winks and coy smiles.

B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk recently took off his shirt. At B.A.P’s first concert, he showed off his muscular upper body and got about 8,000 fans excited.

 

On February 23 and 24, B.A.P held the first concert at the Olympic Hall in the Olympic Park under the title of B.A.P Live on Earth Seoul. Lots of people from countries in Asia, America, and Europe came to the concert.

 

Bang promised his fans earlier that he would show off his abs when B.A.P receive the New Artist Award, and the group has received thirteen New Artist Awards since their debut.

 

During his solo performance, Bang tore his shirt with the help of the backup dancers as part of the performance. Exposing his muscular upper body, he got the fans excited.

 

B.A.P will promote the second EP, One Shot, for a while.

On the episode of SBS TV’s Running Man that aired on February 24, actor Lee Dong Wook and actress Han Hye Jin appeared as guests.

 

Gary, Song, and Lee Kwang Soo played hide-and-seek at a restaurant as a mission, and Gary determined the order to play the game.

 

Realizing that becoming the first player is not good, Song acted cute in front of Gary, pushing out her lips. Gary got embarrassed, but Song kept acting cute, making him feel good.

 

Gary eventually designated Song as the last player, and Lee became the first player. Lee got laughs by saying, “You two can’t be together even if you do this.”

 

At the end, Gary, Haha, and Han Hye Jin won the race.

After School recently held a fan meeting in Thailand and met about 3,000 fans.

 

On February 25, After School’s agency reported, “After School’s first fan meeting in Thailand was held at the Central World Live in Bangkok. Attracting about 3,000 fans, the fan meeting was successfully held. Nearly 50 media sources also paid attention to the fan meeting. Unlike other girl groups’ fan meetings, tickets for this fan meeting were sold out.”

Move over, Jang Geun Suk – Lee Kwang Soo may have emerged as the new contender for the title of the ‘Asia Prince’, if the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘ is any indication.

 

 

This week’s episode featured the ‘Running Man’ cast making their way through the streets of Hanoi, and the first thing that the cast members noticed was the incredible popularity for the ‘betrayer giraffe’, Lee Kwang Soo, with fans chanting his name and supporting him in his missions.

 

 

“We better treat him well from now on,” Kim Jong Kook said. “He’s like the Jang Dong Gun of Vietnam.”

 

 

The producers also apparently couldn’t believe the ‘giraffe’ and his massive popularity so easily. They expressed their incredulity via captions, which questioned the following: “Is ‘Lee Kwang Soo’ an easy-to-pronounce name?” and “Does ‘Lee Kwang Soo’ mean something in Vietnamese?”

 

Fortunately for the ‘giraffe’, however, it looks like his fame is 100% real – until the Commander brings him back down to Earth.

Super Junior‘s Yesung can be added to the very short list (Psy & Super Junior’s Siwon) of Korean celebrities with over 2 million Twitter followers. 2PM‘s Taecyeon has also made a mark, reaching the 1 million follower mark milestone recently!

Both the Super Junior members and 2PM members are active Twitter users who interact with fans and update them on nearly a daily basis. Taecyeon tends to post about his whereabouts and quirky thoughts, the 2PM member has attracted an impressive amount of followers, showing that his popularity is still going strong

Super Junior M recently held fan meetings in Taiwan and Chengtu, China.

 

On February 25, Super Junior M’s agency reported, “Super Junior M held fan meetings in Taiwan from February 21 to 23 and in China on February 24 under the title of 2013 Super Junior M Fan Party: Break Down. For four days, they attracted about 20,000 fans to the fan meetings. Such Taiwanese media sources as TVBS, CTS, and Daily Newspaper covered Super Junior’s entry into Taiwan, their press interview, and the fan meeting. Everything about the group was reported in detail, proving the high popularity of the group in the country.”

 

Super Junior M performed the lead track “Break Down,” “GO,” and “Good Bye My Love,” from their second album, and such hit songs as “Destiny,” “Me,” and “Blue Tomorrow.” They also talked about their life and took some pictures with the fans.
