Hyosung Receives Acknowledgement for Acting Debut in “Ghost-Seeing Detective Cheo Yong”

Jeon Hyosung of Secret plays high school student ghost, Han Na Young, in her acting debut on the cable network OCN‘s drama “Ghost-Seeing Detective Cheo Yong,” which premiered on February 9.

She made her first appearance in school uniform at a regional police investigation unit on the first episode. Han Na Young appeared to be wandering around the place and interfering with whatever the detectives did. However, it turns out that she is a ghost stuck in the present world, unable to move on to the afterlife, and she was in fact, talking to herself.

Hyosung received praise for her natural expressions and acting, and bubbly appearance befitting her high school character.

She will play a key role in assisting the police in their investigations, after it is discovered that she is visible to Detective Yoon Cheo Yong (Oh Ji Ho).

The supernatural crime series has been through several rounds of dramatization and refinement of the storyline. The drama was 100% pre-produced, so audiences can expect a greater degree of completion without worrying about the live shooting environment. “Cheo Yong” stars Oh Ji Ho, Oh Ji Eun and Jeon Hyosung in the lead roles, and they’ll be accompanied by Yoo Seung Mok, Yeon Je Wook and Yoo Min Kyu in supporting roles.

“Ghost-Seeing Detective Cheo Yong” airs at 11:00 PM KST on Sundays on OCN.
