Jung Joon Young seduces with candy on '1 Night 2 Days'

Jung Joon Young had some fun with a piece of candy on the latest episode of '1 Night 2 Days'!

The entire cast were assembled to make hardened sugar candies as part of a mission to win a survival package. The repetitive candy-making process soon had the cast members searching for ways to spice it up, and they decided to inject some fun into the proceedings.

Upon hearing this, Jung Joon Young turned toward the camera and made the sexiest face he could while seductively licking the candy! Although the viewers were definitely pleased, his fellow cast members were disgusted, with Defconn yelling, "You're perverted!"

Cast of 'Reply 1994' receives half of the very last script revealing the husband's identity

For all those who have been diligently watching tvN's retro drama 'Reply 1994,' the most important revelation is nearing!  With only two episodes and two men left, the drama will finally reveal the identity of Na Jung (played by Go Ara)'s husband in the last episode which will air on December 28.  

On December 23, the cast members have finally received the script for the very last episode--however the script is not in the complete form of a book, but rather contains only half of the content for the finale.  Regardless, the cast has revealed that this half indeed contains the identity of Na Jung's husband, who had only been referred to by his complete birth name Kim Jae Joon rather than a nickname everyone else appears to be using.  

Seo In Guk, who acted in the predecessor 'Reply 1997,' had previously revealed that he had not known the identity of the husband until the very end.  Most likely, it is the same case for 'Reply 1994,' and now that even the cast members know, fans of the drama are dying of curiosity.

One rep said, "Even the viewers would fully agree with this finale . . . The cast and crew are determined to do our very best until the end."

Another rep said, "I know it, but I can't say it," as everyone is keeping the secret on the down-low.  However, it appears that the production crew is preparing different versions of the ending so things may still change.

One rep from the production team said, "The script that contains the identity of the husband for the finale did come out, but it may not be the final script . . . I know that the second half has many different versions for the finale."

The cast and crew are really doing a good job of keeping everyone on their toes!  It appears people will just need to wait for the last two episodes to air this weekend.  Are you rooting for Trash (played by Jung Woo) or Chilbong (played by Yoo Yun Suk)?

More on JYP’s New 7-Membered Boy Group, “Post 2PM”

SM Entertainment has EXO and YG Entertainment has WINNER, and now JYP Entertainment plans to reveal its ace-in-the-hole, nicknamed the “Next 2PM” or “Post 2PM.”

According to a broadcasting insider, JYP plans to officially debut its new group early in January and will begin unveiling the group shortly.

The new boy group will be the first boy group from JYP in six years after 2PM. While JYP’s vocal boy group 5Live has been preparing for debut, lending their vocals to the “Beautiful Man” OST, JYP has given away few details on the boy group, until now.  

The seven-membered group is said to be able to perform difficult martial arts stunts, and will show of their strong, powerful performances, distinguishing themselves from other current boy groups. Amongst the members of this group are JYP trainees who took part in the face-off against YG Entertainment on Mnet reality survival program, “WIN: Who is Next?” One of the boys pushed another, who was in mid-flip, changing the course of the acrobatic move.

This group looks like they’ll be differentiating themselves with their acrobatic moves, reviving the “beastly idol” trend that 2PM started. 2PM has stuck together, moving on to trying other genres, overseas activities and pursuing solo acting opportunities, and it will definitely be interesting to see what this new group will bring to the table.

JYP Entertainment recently announced that they would be debuting three groups next year: the six-member girl group and two boy groups. 5Live is currently preparing for their debut, and will likely debut in the middle of next year. They had also previously stated that it hadn’t been decided if JJ Project would merge with the new boy group.

SM Entertainment brought out EXO last year and YG Entertainment’s “WIN” reality program gave birth to WINNER this year. It is time for JYP to step up and show its hand.

JYP has confirmed the JJ project will be part of the new 7-member boy group.

Yoo Jae Suk and Suzy Chosen as Favorite Stars to Watch New Year’s Sunrise With

Who would you like to watch the first sunrise of year 2014 with?

Coca Cola Korea held a survey to find out who Koreans would like to spend their New Year with. They asked 1,000 people, both male and female from teens to thirties, to choose which celebrity they would like to watch next year’s first sunrise with. 

The top male and female are “Nation’s MC” Yoo Jae Suk and “Nation’s First Love” miss A‘s Suzy, who both clearly came out on top. Yoo Jae Suk gained 31.4% of the votes, and following him are Noh Hong Chul (16.5%), Jung Woo (13.6%), Lee Jong Suk (9.0%), and Lee Min Ho (8.9%). Suzy received 23.0% of the votes, on second place is Jung Eun Ji of A Pink, and third is IU. Following them are Gong Hyo Jin (12.2%), Moon Chae Won (11.3%), and Go Ara (8.8%). 

28.4% of the 500 female participants picked Yoo Jae Suk as their first choice. They explained that he seems like a good listener, and with his positive and bright attitude, he would make the trip a fun and memorable one. 25.7% of the teens, 28.3% of women in their twenties, and 31.3% of women in their thirties picked him as number one, showing that his popularity is higher in older age groups. 

Males chose Suzy as their favorite celebrity to spend New Year with because of her bright and friendly personality that would make the first day of 2014 a happy one. Jung Eun Ji received votes thanks to her humble image and ability to make people feel comfortable around her, and IU was chosen for her cute and cheerful image that would make the whole day filled with happiness.

TVXQ to Release Documentary “Catch Me” DVD

On December 24, SM Entertainment stated, “TVXQ will release their documentary DVD, ‘TVXQ! CATCH ME – PRODUCTION NOTE’ on December 27. The DVD will reveal the real side of the members that fans have been curious about.” The upcoming documentary will included two DVDs, and will follow the practice, production, filming, and comeback stage for the group’s sixth album.

Although “Catch Me” was released back in September 2012, fans of the group can be reminded of the hard work exhibited by members Yunho and Changmin. Furthermore, fans can hear about episodes that had occurred during SMTOWN’s LIVE WORLD TOUR and music video filming through the interview portion of the DVD.

Currently, TVXQ are preparing for their upcoming SMTOWN WEEK concert that will take place on December 26 through 27.

Shin Bora Says “EXO Fail” to Hit #1 on Real-Time Search Keyword Chart?

How did comedian Shin Bora try to hit #1 in the real-time search keywords chart? By mentioning the hottest idol group of the moment, EXO!

On December 22, Shin Bora tried to reach #1 in the real-time search keywords list through her “Gag Concert” segment, “Bboom Entertainment.”

To the surprise of many, Shin Bora took off her jacket to reveal a t-shirt that read, “EXO Fail.” However, she proceeded to say, “I don’t want to die. Please help me.” Her co-stars then stood next to her, also with t-shirts that completed the sentence to read, “My Love EXO I Wish I Could Meet You ♥.”

The audience loved this bit and it looked like Shin Bora did indeed reach #1 in the real-time keyword search chart later on!

Gong Yoo on His “Running Man” Experience: “Now I Know Why Yoo Jae Suk Quit Smoking”

Gong Yoo recently shared his thoughts on appearing on his first variety TV show in over eight years.

Gong Yoo posed for an @Star 1 photo shoot and also gave an interview. He talked about his recent “Running Man” appearance and said, “I never even dreamed of going on ‘Running Man.’ It was really fun but it was just as hard.”

He continued, “I left my house as 6:30AM and returned at around midnight. I really felt respect for the ‘Running Man’ cast. I also heard that Yoo Jae Suk quit smoking and now I know exactly why. The physical toll that this show takes is greater than I imagined.”

Gong Yoo continued to praise the “Running Man” members by saying, “When I am filming an action film, I usually run out of breath but the members never lose their smiles and laughter while filming the show. I realized that I shouldn’t view variety shows easily. I only knew about drama and film sets and the variety TV set was a first one for me; it was a new world.”

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo’s film “The Suspect” is just around the corner from being released. This photo shoot and interview can be found in the January issue of @Star1.

Bae Yong Joon’s Girlfriend’s Identity Is No Longer a Mystery?

While it was previously reported that Bae Yong Joon is dating a non-celebrity, it turns out that she may be somewhat of a prominent figure as well. 

According to recent media reports, Bae Yong Joon is dating Goo So Hee, the second daughter of the Vice President of LS Industrial system co. 

On December 24, Daily Sports reported that the couple had met through mutual acquaintances. Certain sources close to the couple revealed that they had already known about the couple’s relationship since three months ago. 

It was also revealed that Goo So Hee is LS Group Vice President Goo Ja Gyoon’s second daughter who was born in 1986, making her 14 years younger than Bae Yong Joon. She graduated with a marketing degree from Syracuse University and is taking graduate school courses in International trade at Korea University. Her father succeeded as the Vice President of LS Industrial Systems Co. in the latter half of the year 2010 and began serving his role starting 2011. 

Bae Yong Joon’s party has decided to neither confirm nor deny these reports. In an official statement, a spokesperson for Bae Yong Joon stated, “Since Bae Yong Joon’s girl friend is a non-celebrity, in order to protect her private life, we will not be revealing anything about her to the public. Aside from whether the identity is correct or not, it is unfortunate that a civilian’s name has been pointed out to the public in this fashion. All we can ask is for everyone to look kindly upon Bae Yong Joon’s relationship.”

An Update on Lee Hong Ki’s Condition After Injuries Sustained from Fall

FT Island member Lee Hong Ki recently suffered a dislocated shoulder and fractures to the face when he slipped on an icy road while out to dinner with “Hundred Year Bride” staff on December 16. All filming for “Hundred Year Bride” has been temporary placed on hold for the next six weeks or so as he rehabilitates. 

On December 24, Lee Hong Ki’s agency FNC Entertainment revealed to OSEN that he is making a fast recovery. “Lee Hong Ki’s condition has improved a lot. He is currently frequenting the hospital often and doing his best to recover quickly,” said a spokesperson for FNC Entertainment. 

In related news, the FNC Entertainment family concert has been postponed until next year instead of December 28 and 29 of this year.

Seungri of Big Bang has reportedly gotten into car accident after being chased by a sasaeng fan.

The incident took place on December 23 at 11pm after he made an appearance at an event in Shanghai, China. His van was followed by his staff’s van, and behind them, was a fan following Seungri. The fan hit the staff vehicle, and as a consequence, the staff van ended up colliding with Seungri’s vehicle from behind. 

A representative of YG Entertainment revealed to enews, “Yesterday, Seungri got into a traffic accident in China. A fan chasing him hit the staff van, and Seungri, whose van was in front of them, got hit as a result. Fortunately, the accident was not a serious one and he was not injured,” and said, “After the incident, we were contacted by the Chinese police, asking what action should be taken. We asked them to treat the fan leniently.”

It is relieving to hear that Seungri suffered no injuries and is able to continue with his schedule.
