YU JAE SUK. Who didnt know this man? he's  been vote by South Korean "netizens" proclaimed him the most popular Korean comedian for five consecutive years.  He also have nickname as MC of the nation. I think its really suit his best. First time I watched him on HAPPY TOGETHER. I think he really funny without offended others. Yu Jae Suk give you 'good and nice' vibes. Vibes that make u feel comfortable. The level of respect to others is really high and I think that one of the thing why people like him. I still remember when Jo Kwon need to choose other YJS team or KJK team on Running Man, he choose YJS. The reason is, if they loose YJS will not angry at him. I like this part of YJS, always calm and give full support to others. For me, he got this 'father figure' in MCing and variety world. FATHER THAT WILL GUIDE YOU WITH WARM HEART.

 LEETUEK

Park Jeong Su or well know as LEETUEK from SUPER JUNIOR. Age 30 and still single. I think this guy really suitable to be the next Yu Jae Suk. He give the same vibes as YJS. if YJS give father figure, Leetuek  give older brother figure. Hyung that will help their dongsaeng with warm smile. I still remember that Minho from SHINee mentioned about variety-dol special class on Strong Heart. He will teach what they suppose to do and react in variety show. I think its really cool leetuek-sii. Since he still in army now, lets wait for him!

KANG HODONG

Kang Hodong former professional Ssireum or korean wrestling. Started her career as comedian in 1999, appearing on MBC as a talent. He later became the host of a number of popular variety programs such as X-Man, Love Letter and Ya Shim Man Man. He won numerous entertainment awards, and is widely recognized as one of the best television hosts in Korean television history. In 2011, he hosted four popular variety programs – Happy Sunday - 1 Night 2 Days, Golden Fishery, Star King and Strong Heart. First time I saw him in 1 Night 2 Days season 1. Even I think he's too loud but I need to admit that he gave a POSITIVE ENERGY to others.

Super Junior's Shindong. What I should talk about him? he loud but not as loud as Kang Hodong. For me, his LOUDNESS is CHARMING. He always make you smile and I also like his smile.

KIM GURA

Kim Hyun-dong  or well known as KIM GURA. People know him as SHARP TONGUE and HARSH REMARK. My 1st impression is, I DONT LIKE HIM. with his absurd and harsh comment..I dont think I can handle this kind of person. But after a while, I can accept his style. Absurd and harsh comment? just dont take to ur heart, its just her personality. 

 

KIM HEE CHUL

Kim Hee Chul from Super Junior is the right person to be the next KIM GURA. His really..really...ABSURD. I asked my nephew when she said she like heechul from SUJU. I try to think why she like this kind of person?handsome?i didnt know..because I think there other SUJU member that more handsome than him. I watched him on SECRET and other variety show and...he's really..really...really..self-centered.  Beside his self-centered personality..he's really have SHARP TONGUE like KIM GURA. But just like Shindong or...Yesung..??Im not very sure..they said Heechul is combining of KIM GURA and SHIN DONG YEOB..well...I TOTALLY AGREE WITH you guys..SHARP TONGUE+PERVERT... its really KIM HEECHUL. 'Good Doctor' reigns supreme among Mon-Tues dramas

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, the September 3rd episode of 'Good Doctor' achieved an 18.4% viewer rating, which is a 1.0% increase from its previous viewer rating of 17.4%, setting its eyes on the 20% viewer rating mark.

Meanwhile, SBS' 'Empire of Gold' and MBC's 'Goddess of Fire, Jeongi' went head-to-head in a close battle with a 10.6% and 9.1% viewer rating, respectively.

Kim Woo Bin: “Lee Min Ho Has the Better Face but I Have the Better Bod”

Kim Woo Bin was a guest on the radio show “Shindong’s Shim Shim Tapa” on September 3, and while there, the actor talked about his upcoming drama “The Heirs.”

He mentioned Lee Min Ho, the lead actor of the drama while talking about “The Heirs.” Kim Woo Bin complimented his colleague saying, “Lee Min Ho is the best looking actor out of all the actors in the drama. He is truly “boy over flowers.”

MC Shindong of Super Junior asked Kim Woo Bin, “Have you honestly ever thought you looked better than Lee Min Ho?” Kim Woo Bin replied, “I am surprised every morning when I look at the mirror. I can’t believe I am able to be an actor with this face.” Kim Woo Bin continued, “If I have to say it, Lee Min ho has the better face but I have the better body.”

Unfortunately, this question was asked while Kim Woo Bin was being tested by a toy lie detector and the result of the test said that Kim Woo Bin was lying, bringing laughter to the program. Kim Woo Bin was forced to say, “I guess I think I am better looking than Lee Min Ho.”

Kim Woo Bin is joined by Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Choi Jin Hyuk, f(x)’s Krystal, ZE:A’s Park Hyung Sik, Kang Ha Neul, and CNBlue‘s Kang Min Hyuk. The drama is set to premiere October 9 with a run of 20 episodes.

Moon Hee Jun Reveals He Was in a Love Triangle with Tony An

Moon Hee Jun revealed the surprising truth that he used to like the same girls as Tony An did in the past!

The two former H.O.T members spoke about their past on the episode of “20th Century Boys” that recently aired.

For this episode, the H.J.g.R members (Moon Hee Jun, Tony An, Danny Ahn, Eun Ji Won, Chun Myung Hoon) left on an MT trip together to become even closer. During the trip, the members decided to take a test to see how well they know each other. One of the questions on the test was, “Who is the member that Moon Hee Jun would never want to be involved in a love triangle with the same woman?”

Then Moon Hee Jun answered, “I never want to do that again,” which surprised all the other members. He then explained, “Tony An and I were always involved in a love triangle.”

However, Tony An could not remember and asked, “Who was the girl?” Then Moon Hee Jun replied, “You want me to say it right now? I’m single so I can say it,” which made Tony flustered.

Moon Hee Jun continued to tease his friend by saying, “Should we have a quiz on this subject as well,” which made Tony shush him and everyone else laugh.

EXO breaks another record with 740,000 copies of 'XOXO(Kiss&Hug)' sold in just 3 months

 

EXO's 1st full-length album 'XOXO(Kiss&Hug)' broke another record by selling 740,000 copies in just three months since its release!

As of September 3 KST, EXO sold 424,260 copies of the regular version of their 'XOXO' album which was released on June 3 and 312,899 copies of its repackaged version released in August, bringing the total up to 737,159 copies sold. 

SM Entertainment stated, "According to the Korean Music Industry Association, [EXO] is the first artist to break the record of selling over 700,000 in 12 years since 2001 following Kim Gun Mo's 7th album (1,390,000 copies sold) and Jo Sung Mo's 4th album (960,000 copies sold)."

This achievement is significant especially considering that physical album sales have been on the decline since the start of the online market and the increase of illegal downloading.

EXO's Tao and INFINITE's Woohyun and Sungyeol revealed to have suffered minor injuries while filming 'Idol Star Athletics Championship'

 

 We can't say we didn't see this coming with the competitive nature of this event, but EXO's Tao and INFINITE's Woohyun and Sungyeol were revealed to have suffered minor injuries while filming the 'Idol Star Athletics Championship'. 

According to reps at the scene at Goyang Stadium, Gyeonggido on September 3, Tao injured his back while competing in the high-jump challenge. It's said he hit his back the wrong way while he was jumping. His fellow members escorted him out to receive treatment, and Tao later returned and assured fans that he was alright.

Woohyun and Sungyeol also injured their chin and back when playing in the futsal [indoor soccer match] games while getting competitive and bumping into people.

INFINITE's agency calmed worried fans who heard the news by responding, "Thankfully, it wasn't a big injury. They only slipped slightly, it's not something that fans need to worry about."

Hopefully, the rest of the idol stars got through the filming safe-and-sound!

Over 160 Idols Including EXO, BEAST, Infinite, miss A, Participate in the 2013 Idol Athletic Championships

It’s that special time of year where hundreds of K-Pop’s hottest idol stars gather together in one big arena to display their athleticism, sportsmanship and hot-blooded young energy!

On September 3, top idol groups such as EXO, BEAST, A Pink, Infinite and ZE:A gathered together to film the “2013 Idol Athletic Championships,” which featured sports such as track and field, archery and mini-soccer.

Hosted by Jeon Hyun Moo, Kim Jae Dong, Defconn and Lee Ki Kwang, the seventh annual Idol Athletic Championships revealed the many different athletic skills that our favorite idols possess.

Around 160 idols participated in this year’s championships including groups like Super Junior-M, BEAST, Infinite, MBLAQ, ZE:A, Secret, B.A.P, BTOB, VIXX, Rainbow, Girl’s Day, A Pink, Dal Shabet, Teen Top, Tasty, B1A4, EXO, U-KISS, Crayon Pop, 2AM, miss A, A-JAX, 100% and more.

Idols were divided into four teams for the mini-soccer games. Team A consists of 2AM’s Seulong and Changmin; B1A4′s Jinyoung, Baro and Gongchan;100%’s Sanghoon; A-JAX’s Seung Yup and Goo Ja Myung. Team B consists of EXO’s Luhan, Xiumin, Suho and Baekhyun; Infinite’s Hoya and Woohyun; Tasty’s Soryong; and Shorry J. Team C consists of ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun, Ha Min Woo, and Kim Tae Heon; U-KISS’ Soohyun and Kiseop; VIXX’s N and Leo, and Son Jin Young. Team D consists of BEAST’s Yoon Doo Joon, Lee Ki Kwang and Yang Yo Seob; BTOB’s Eunkwang; B.A.P’s Bang Yong Guk, Young Jae and Zelo; and Roh Ji Hoon.

At the same time, archery and track competitions were held as well.

Although some idols weren’t able to make it, such as U-KISS’ Dongho, some of the currently busiest idols such as Suzy, Park Hyung Shik, Jung Eun Ji and L attended the event.

Suzy even stood as the representative idol member along with ZE:A’s Kim Dong Jun and read the competition oath in front of her peers. She went on to compete in the archery games as well.

Ulala Session Remembers Im Yoon Taek and Shares an Updates on His Baby Daughter

The members of Ulala Session remembered their former member Im Yoon Taek and talked about how his baby daughter is doing.

On the September 2 episode of “Beatles Code Season 2” Ulala Session recalled the days when they performed with Im Yoon Taek before he passed away in February of 2013. Member Kim Myoung Hoon said on the show, “When I saw that some portal sites had taken down Im Yoon Taek’s named from our profile, I asked them to change it. It didn’t feel right.” 

MC Tak Jae Hoon asked the members how Im Yoon Taek’s daughter Im Lee Dan was doing. The members replied that she is growing up well. Im Lee Dan was born in October of 2012 and will be turning one year old next month.

On this somber topic Tak Jae Hoon assured the members, “It’s a good thing Lee Dan has many strong uncles who will watch over her.”

MC Jung Dong Min also shared his encouragement by saying, “I don’t think this way with a lot of people but whenever I see Ulala Session I always wish that they will do well.”

Sungyeol continues to praise Sungjong, talking about how “Even though you’re the junior (of the team), you don’t needlessly grumble and you do a great job at everything without making a fuss about it. I sometimes get very surprised when you act even more maturely than I do.” Because of this sentiment, Sungyeol tells Sungjong that he can be his hyung (older brother) for the day before finishing off by saying “Sungjong hyung, I once again wish you a happy birthday.”

Fellow INFINITE member Hoya also wished their junior member a happy birthday with a short tweet which said, “Sungjong~ Happy Birthday! ^-^ Please always keep smiling brightly in the future as well hehehe.”

Big Bang's Seungri comments on EXO

 

Big Bang's Seungri, who recently made his comeback with "Gotta Talk to You", had some things to say about his hoobae group EXO.

On the latest MBC FM4U's 'Kim Shin Young's Song of Hope at Noon', Seungri brought up EXO. He said, "I shared a waiting room with EXO once, and they were all catnapping. They're probably busy these days, and I wondered if they were sleeping and eating well. I wanted to at least cover them with a blanket."

 

Seungri continued, "It's been 8 years since I've debuted. The EXO members are quite young and handsome. It makes me wonder if our sunbaes thought the same of us when they first saw us."

2PM's Nichkhun is known as one of the cutest guys in K-pop, but IU says she prefers singer Sung Shi Kyung.

On the latest '1 Night 2 Days', cast member Sung Shi Kyung called IU over the phone to complete the 'contact a celebrity' mission. The producers gave him the goal to get IU to tell him he's handsome. 

He succeeded with IU saying, "Of course, oppa's good-looking," and he responded, "Okay, Ji-Eun, sleep well." The two singers previously collaborated for the track "It's You". Sung Shi Kyung revealed, "At a concert with 6000 guests, I asked IU, 'Do you like oppa or Nichkhun?' and she answered, 'I definitely like oppa. I'm not very interested in good-looking guys.'"

After miss A's Suzy tweeted that she was a fan of G-Dragon's new album, 'Coup D'etat', G-Dragon responded with some playful banter.
