Koyote Comes Back After One Year and Three Months

Koyote made their come back after a year and three months of hiatus with a new single.

On March 22 at noon, Koyote released their newest single “Lies You Can See,” their first since “Say That Again” in January 2012.

‘Running Man’ reveals a dramatic preview with Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee

SBS‘s variety program ‘Running Man‘ will be taking a turn for the dramatic in next week’s episode, featuring beautiful actresses Go Ara and Lee Yeon Hee.

Themed around the filming of an actual K-drama, the episode seems to initially start off lovey-dovey, with the cast members engaged in couple games and re-enacting famous tropes from some of Korea’s most popular television dramas.

However, a Korean drama wouldn’t be living up to its name without a massive reversal of some sort, and the ‘Running Man’ cast and guests are shocked by the news that there’s a secret surrounding the birth circumstances of one of the members. Who could unravel the mystery and become the heir to the ‘R’ syndicate? Will there be a reversal in fortune?

Jewelry’s Yewon makes a surprise guest appearance on ‘SNL Korea’

Jewelry‘s Yewon made a surprise appearance on the recent broadcast of tvN‘s ‘SNL Korea.’

On March 23rd, Yewon appeared on the hit segment of ‘Lee Ung Don PD’s Eatery X-File‘ as a cute freshman in college.

The segment showed the wrongful culture of heavy drinking in college where the seniors kept pressuring the juniors to drink. Shin Dong Yup appeared to help the juniors out, but as the drinking got worse, he seemed more and more reluctant to step in.

Then, the ‘SNL’ host happily stepped in when Yewon had to play the ‘pepero game’, where two people would bite down on the same cracker facing each other.

The studio erupted in laughter when Shin Dong Yup lost control of himself and got too deep into the game.

‘Running Man’ goes to school with flower boys and girls

The latest episode of ‘Running Man‘ saw the cast members and guests go back to school, dressed up in flashy school uniforms.

Divided into the ‘athletics department’ and the ‘acting department’, the two sides – one consisting of the ‘Running Man’ cast members and the other side with Yoo Jae Suk and guests Min Hyo Rin, Lee Jong Suk, Kim Woo Bin, CNBLUE‘s Jonghyun, and Kim Soo Ro – set out on a race that was essentially an upgraded version of ‘Capture the Flag’, where each team would have to steal the flag from the other side and mount it on a flagpole.

Despite the flag changing hands several times throughout the race – some within seconds of each other – and Jonghyun being his usual accident-prone self, the final victor ended up being the ‘acting department’, thanks to ‘game devil’ Kim Soo Ro’s antics as well as the superior athleticism of the flower boys.

SECRET All Smiles in Singapore Press Conference

17 March 2013 was SECRET TIME, as girl group SECRET held a press conference at Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore followed by a fansign session. The busy ladies flew in after performing at the Korean Music Wave in Bangkok, Thailand and will be staging their first full-fledged solo concert in Singapore on 29 March.

The quartet consisting of Leader Hyosung, Zinger, Sunhwa and Jieun were decked in bright matching lace outfits. Despite their back-to-back schedules, the 4 ladies greeted the media with gummy smiles and high energy. Even more so when fans entered the venue for the autograph session.
Leader Hyosung apologised for making local fans wait a year (since their last fanmeet session with labelmates B.A.P) and promised a spectacular upcoming concert on the 29th. Fans can look forward to be serenaded by popular hits like ‘Madonna’, ‘Magic’ and their latest digital single ‘Talk That’, special solo performances as well as an interactive time with Secret.

Hyosung picked out her 2 favourite songs off their albums, ‘Love is MOVE’ for its light-hearted upbeat melody and ‘Poison’ which is known for its sexy choreography. When you talk about style and concept, girl group Secret can pull off both the sexy and ‘girl-next-door’ sweet image. Their ability to portray different sides, could be an attractive factor as Hyosung and Sunhwa points out.

On the topic of ideal types, Jieun reveals that she prefers someone who is ‘pabo’(silly) and kind in nature. Hyosung‘s simple criteria would be a man who only looks at her and no one else while Zinger immediately picked actor So Ji Sub and burst into shy giggles afterwards. Sunhwa -who is virtually married to idol singer Kwanghee in ‘We Got Married’- likes men who are serious in their work.

Jieun gave an outstanding 8/10 points for Sunhwa’s virtual husband Kwanghee, when asked to give a ranking by a media representative. The members felt that the characters of Sunhwa and Kwanghee matched well and the couple looked compatible. For Hyosung, a memorable impression of Kwanghee was during the couple’s house-warming party where Kwanghee ate with his hands and she found it cute.

With the recent trend of sub-units amongst Kpop groups, Secret does not plan to ride on the trend just yet. Instead, along with the upcoming album in April, the members plan to release solo albums, so look out for it!

Following the press conference, fans streamed into the ballroom with fanboards and cameras in hand awaiting for the autograph session. Secret were seen full of fanservice, throwing kisses and showing ‘aegyo’ poses.

Stay tuned for Korea.com’s coverage on SECRET Live in Singapore concert on 29 March, organized by Fast Track Events! Also look forward to Secret’s April comeback!

For his “First Love… with Indonesia Global Fanmeeting” in Jakarta (22/03) actor Lee Minho, famous for his character in Boys Over Flowers and City Hunter, the chosen two dramas of his personal favorite and most prominent as of today, met the room of press in the evening. As his first arrival to the country, he casually dressed smart in a unique crisp white shirt with a patterned vest and black trousers with a shortage of length remindful of his ‘Personal Taste’ drama style, he looked as charming as ever to be one of Korean’s top flower boys with his fall figure and sweet smile.
”Selamat malam,” he first opened with the mic and made a great impression. “Nice to meet you all, thank you.”
Known to be a reticent and cool person, he is not talkative in person, an actual reserve and polite figure that is adored by many. So what is his first impression of the country? “My first impression is that all my fans have been waiting for me, and I would like to say that I’m sorry that I only have come now and not from long ago. Now, I finally have a chance to come,” answering the question with a big smile.
Organizer Munial Sport Group whom has successfully brought in Lee Seung Gi to Indonesia helped in bringing the guest star of later tonight in his own fanmeeting (23/03). Why did he choose Indonesia as one of his exclusive fanmeet stops?
“Through SNS, a lot of fans has said how much they wish for me to come. It is by request and I try my best to repay back the best I can.”
At the last stage, Mr. Munial of the organizer gifted him a football jersey, because Minho is known to enjoy football and Munial Sport Group original projects includes all the world-star athletes.
Look forward to his fanmeet – what kind of performances has he prepared to make everyone feel like it is just like their first love?
