Kim Jong Kook Reveals He Supported His Brother Financially for Medical School

As one of the MCs, Kim Jong Kook invites Kim Jong Myung, his brother, as a guest for the upcoming episode of JTBC’s “Everybody.” The episode talks about how one can look younger, and Kim Jong Myung, who is a plastic surgeon, contributes his knowledge to the show.

While introducing his brother to the other MCs, Kim Jong Kook pokes fun at Kim Jong Myung by saying, ”He’s not used to talking on TV shows so he will just share his professional knowledge and not say much about anything else,” and makes his brother blush.

He also adds, “When my brother was going to medical school, I supported him financially for seven years. Medical degree costs a lot of money,” impressing the other MCs. Although he is playful with his brother throughout the show, viewers will see an affectionate side of him as he interacts with his brother.

During the show, Kim Jong Kook and Kim Jong Myung reveal the contrasting school life they had in their childhood, as Kim Jong Kook was to become a singer and Kim Jong Myung a doctor. Check out the episode of “Everybody” on January 8 at 9:40 p.m. KST.
