MBLAQ Releases First Set of Concept Photos for Upcoming “Broken” Mini Album

Boy group MBLAQ surprised viewers with their stunning new look when they released concept images for their upcoming sixth mini album titled “Broken.” 

All the members of MBLAQ looks sleek and sophisticated in well-tailored suits and clean-cut hair. Their images are overlaid with a filter imitating broken glass, creating a rainbow effect of colors. The boys portray with their angry and hard gazes how a heart can grow cold when broken.

J.Tunes Camp commented, “Through this album, we plan to show the high quality and the unique color of MBLAQ. Please look forward to more releases from this album that will be revealed one by one.”

T-ara’s Jiyeon and Hyomin Both to Make Solo Debut

T-ara members Hyomin and Jiyeon will both be making their solo debut! 

T-ara’s agency, Core Contents Media announced on March 10, “Jiyeon and Hyomin will be releasing solo albums that are completely different in style. Jiyeon teamed up with Duble Sidekick, while Hyomin will be working with Brave Brothers.” 

Not only that, Jiyeon and Hyomin, respectively, have different composers, music video directors, choreographers, stylists and different staff to run the production of their solo albums. 

In response to questions about whether the girls will be promoting their solo albums in the same time frame, they replied, “Whether they’ll be promoting the albums separately or together is still undecided. We will go with whichever direction that will yield the best results.”

“Toheart” Woohyun and Key Drop “The 1st Mini Album” + Album Cover BTS Stills

Infinite‘s Woohyun and SHINee‘s Key, forming the delectable duo Toheart has finally released their project unit’s debut album, “The 1st Mini Album“! Along with the release of the album, Toheart has also released candid images from their album cover photo shoot.

“The 1st Mini Album” is composed of six tracks, including “Miro” which features MC the Max‘s Jae Yoon and a remake of 80s classic “Start” by One Day. Title track ”Delicious” is the collaborative work of Sweetune and Sean Alexander, the former who wrote Infinite’s “Man in Love” and “The Chaser,” and the latter who wrote SHINee’s “Amigo.”

Toheart will hold a showcase later on in the day at Seoul’s Coex Artium, and also release the music video for “Delicious.”

ZE:A’s Siwan Appears in Teaser for New Vocal Group “SoReal’s” Debut Single “Heart Speaks”

Star Empire Entertainment‘s new four member vocal group “SoReal” has released a teaser image featuring ZE;A‘s Siwan from their upcoming debut music video “Heart Speaks.” The image was released on SoReal’s Twitter page on March 10 and shows a sad image of Siwan. The idol is under the same management group of SoReal, and his appearance should help the new group get more attention.

In the teaser image, Im Siwan is sobbing as if he lost a loved one. What can we expect from the new music video? Find out when it is released on March 13.

SoReal’s debut album “So Real Story” will be released on March 13. Below is the track list for the upcoming album. The four member group is composed of members Byun Jang Moon, Kang Sung Ho, Rhu Philip, and Joo Dae Gun.

Girl’s Day and “Boy’s Day” Take a Picture Together

BTOB‘s Min Hyuk, N’UEST‘s Ren, VIXX’s Hong Bin, and A-Jax‘s Seung Jin went into drag to form “Boy’s Day,” a parody version of the popular girl group Girl’s Day.

“Boy’s Day” was formed to perform “Something” on the special 400th episode of “Music Core” which will air in mere hours. They will be one of the several special performances lined up for this episode, and you can see the list of performers here. 

As a bonus, here is a close up look of Ren, because if you didn’t know by now, he makes a prettier girl than most girl group idols.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee Thinks Infinite’s Sunggyu Looks Like a Tibetan Sand Fox?

Male group ZE:A‘s Kwanghee revealed his hilarious thoughts on Infinite‘s Woohyun and Sunggyu.

On the March 6 episode of MNet’s reality show “This Is Infinite,” the members had a playful debate over their popularity as individuals. To find out what their special charms are, they sent messages to some of their friends asking what is the secret to their popularity.

Woohyun decided to request the opinion of Kwanghee, who is very well known for his hilarious nature, and gave a call to the fellow idol. Kwanghee revealed his opinion on why Woohyun is popular, “Crooked bottom teeth,” and evoked laughter with his answer. When asked who is the most popular among Infinite members, he said, “Sunggyu.”

“Sunggyu looks like a Tibetan sand fox,” the ZE:A member revealed the reason for choosing him, and asked Woohyun, “Wasn’t it you who said that?” Surprised and confused, Woohyun immediately replied, “When did I say that?”

After hearing the discussion between the two, Sunggyu said, “I have lost one of my closest dongsaengs,” jokingly referring to Woohyun.

Super Junior’s Heechul Celebrates His Ninth Anniversary Since Debut with Actor Choi Min Soo

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul celebrated nine years since his bebut.

Kim Heechul wrote on his Instagram on March 6, “They tell me today is my ninth anniversary since my debut.”

Kim Heechul thanked himself and wrote, “Heechul, thanks for reaching this far without causing any problems. Thank you, and I love you.” He also expressed his gratitude and wrote, “Thank you to all those who have been with me through the countless storms. Thank you, and I love you. SM too. Thank you, and I love you.”

He added, “I’m celebrating my ninth anniversary with Choi Min Soo hyung. Min Soo hyung, thank you, and I love you. Thank you for performing your song for me, my Min Soo.”

In the photo Kim Heechul posted, Choi Min Soo is singing with the guitar while Kim Heechul sits quietly and listens.

Despite the age difference, the two seems to have a strong bond with each other.

Girls’ Generation Leader Taeyeon Says She Wants to Appear on “Witch Hunt”

Girls’ Generation leader Taeyeon recently revealed that she’s a huge fan of the JTBC show “Witch Hunt.”

The singer appeared on JTBC’s “Entertainment News,” where scenes of Taeyeon recording JTBC’s 2014 campaign song, “Colorful,” were revealed.

On the day of the filming, Taeyeon said, “On JTBC, I’m enjoying the show ‘Surgeon,’ featuring Kim Hee Chul, and ‘Witch Hunt.’” She added a little tidbit on her fellow agency artist, “Kim Hee Chul is the person that is most like his actual self on television.” The Girls’ Generation leader also revealed that she wants to guest appear on “Witch Hunt.” She said, “But, that guests have to talk about a lot of [revealing] things on the show is overwhelming, so I’d like to just be a part of the studio audience.” Also on “Entertainment News” were scenes from after the recording of “Colorful,” and an interview with Taeyeon about Girls’ Generation’s new album.

Chu Sarang and Her Boyfriend Kiss in Preview Stills for “Superman Returns

Earlier it was mentioned that Chu Sarang’s boyfriend would be appearing in the upcoming episode of KBS’ “Superman Returns,” and now more previews have surfaced about this cute relationship.

On the upcoming March 9 episode of “Superman Returns,” Chu Sarang’s boyfriend, Yoo Ta visited Chu Sarang at her house, fueling the jealousy of Chu Sung Hoon. Watching his daughter’s excitement over her boyfriend, Chu Sung Hoon couldn’t help but feel uncomfortable. In addition, it was revealed through Yano Shiho, Chu Sung Hoon’s wife and Chu Sarang’s mother, that the children even share kisses.

When Chu Sung Hoon was given the task to watch over the children at a restaurant, the mixed martial artist became a wall between his daughter and her boyfriend. In response to Yoo Ta’s question of whether he could kiss Sarang, Chu Sung Hoon sternly said, “No.” Although known for her appetite, Chu Sarang’s attention to her boyfriend while at the dinner table showed a different side to the cute tyke.

Lee Dong Wook Personally Asked Lee Da Hae to Be His “Hotel King” Drama Co-Star

Actor Lee Dong Wook revealed the behind-the-scenes story on how actress Lee Da Hae was cast for upcoming drama, “Hotel King.” 

On the episode of MBC’s “Section TV: Entertainment News” that aired on March 9, lead actors Lee Dong Wook and Lee Da Hae made appearances as guests to talk about their new drama, “Hotel King.” 

These two talented actors have combined their star power before for “My Girl,” a wildly successful drama that aired about 8 years ago. “Hotel King” will be their second project together since then! 

Actress Lee Da Hae revealed how she came to accept the role in the drama saying, “Lee Dong Wook asked me if we could do it together.” Lee Dong Wook added, “When I found out that the director of ‘Hotel King’ had Lee Da Hae in mind for the part, I called Lee Da Hae up myself and asked her point-blank if she wanted to do it.” 

“Hotel King” will start airing on March 29.

BEAST’s Yoseob Opens Up About Leaving “I Live Alone”

Yang Yoseob of idol group BEAST will unfortunately no longer appear on MBC’s variety show “I Live Alone.“

On the March 7 episode, the cast members shared their thoughts on losing one of their precious family members. 

Noh Hong Chul opened up the discussion by saying, “Even today, Yang Yoseob participated in the filming after quickly wrapping up his overseas activities and returning to Korea.”

“BEAST’s album will be out in April, and I will be staying in Japan for a long period of time in March, when we have concerts there,” the idol opened up about his upcoming hectic schedule, due to which filming the variety show in the future would be too challenging.

He continued with a positive attitude, “Honestly, everything was good. Good memories, I made many good memories, so I will be able to work hard on my Japanese and Korean promotions. Thank you.”

Defcon expressed his thoughts, “I have prepared things that I want to do with the members during the year, so it’s unfortunate [that Yoseob is leaving],” and bid farewell to the bright idol.
