IU expresses her extremely close friendship with Suzy

Jung Hyung Don said, "Suzy is the one year younger best friend of IU.  What is IU to Suzy?"  He was looking for a specific answer, explaining, "This is something Suzy said on another show."

After pondering, IU said, "A magnet.  Because we stick together and drag each other around."

Jung Hyung Don, who was surprised that IU got the correct answer, said, "That is right, but who is the north and who is the south end as this is important."

IU's answer was spot on yet again: "Suzy is north and I am south."

Jung Hyung Don and Defconn were impressed, saying, "She didn't get one word wrong."

In relation to being close friends with Suzy, IU said, "Because we're busy, we don't get to see each other, but we contact each other very often to the point we say we need to stop because our fingers hurt," most likely from all the busy texting!

There must be a lot to say between two friends who are like magnets to each other. Make sure to watch the episode to learn more about IU!

Jia reveals a funny story about her first encounter with Suzy

The lovely ladies of miss A recently appeared on Mnet's 'Wide Entertainment News - The Music Interview' to promote their new song "Hush."

On this day, Jia revealed a very funny story about a mistake she made when she first met Suzy as she had not yet fully mastered Korean.

She remembered the first time she met Suzy, saying, "She was like Snow White because she was pale and pretty."

She continued, "But at the time, my Korean was clumsy so I made a mistake towards Suzy . . . I confused the pronunciation for 'belly fat (뱃살 bae-ssal)' and 'Snow White (백설 baeg-seol)' so I said to Suzy, 'You are like Belly Fat Princess.'"  While what she meant to say, Snow White, is pronounced in Korean as "baeg seol," what she actually said, belly fat, was very close as it is pronounced "bae ssal."

Fei said, "At the time, Suzy was taken aback by Jia's slip of the tongue."

Suzy said, "Generally, there were a lot of incidents like this," while discreetly feeling her stomach.

Lim Chang Jung Talks About U-Kiss’ Dongho Leaving the Group and Clears Up Rumors

Singer/actor Lim Chang Jung recently talked about his labelmate U-Kiss’ Dongho leaving the group.

On November 13, Lim Chang Jung was a guest on the MBC variety show, “Radio Star.” During the show, he talked about how his agency’s CEO was a great help to his popularity, which is why he decided to re-sign. As he talked about his agency, he also mentioned Dongho, who left the group last month.

Lim Chang Jung shared, “My CEO told me about Dongho even before it hit the media. When I asked, ‘Will you be alright even if the articles get published,’ the CEO answered, ‘What can I do? Dongho says he’s exhausted so there’s nothing I can do.’”

Lim Chang Jung continued, “I heard that Dongho still had time left until his contract with the company expired. But the CEO said, ‘What good is it if I try to hold onto Dongho, when he says that he has a different path other than the path of a celebrity?’ I really don’t think there is any other CEO or producer like ours.”

This cleared up the many doubts and suspicions that revolved around the company after news of Dongho hit the media.

Meanwhile, other guests for this episode of “Radio Star” included Jung Sung Hwa, Choi Hyun Woo and Maeng Seung Ji.

Kang Min Kyung Files Lawsuit Against Netizens Who Spread Defaming Photoshopped Images

Kang Min Kyung Files Lawsuit Against Netizens Who Spread Defaming Photoshopped Images

Davichi‘s Kang Min Kyung has been reported to sue the netizens who have spread malicious photoshopped images of herself.

On November 13, Kang Min Kyung filed a lawsuit against three netizens for photoshopping and spreading a defaming image of the singer on the Internet.

According to the investigations, the netizens posted this photo this past March on various portal sites, blogs and cafes with the title, “Kang Min Kyung’s Sponsor Photo.” The photo contained an image of a woman who seems to look like Kang Min Kyung, wearing skimpy lingerie and sitting next to a male at what seems like a bar. Along with that photo, another image of a screen capture of a fabricated conversation among people who were posing to be Kang Min Kyung’s agency people, was posted as well. The fake conversation contained messages like “We need to quickly stop this.” All of these images were found to be fake.

Kang Min Kyung’s reps reported these netizen’s IDs to the police, and the investigations discovered the suspects shortly. It is reported that one more netizen was accused but the investigators were not able to figure out his or her actual identity, leading them to drop charges for that particular netizen.

Sources from the prosecution commented, “Defamation of public figures on the Internet is getting worse so the punishment will be stronger. We have requested for an official hearing for this case.”

Taeyang Talks About His New Album and His Approach to Hip-Hop (Interview Part 1)

Taeyang Talks About His New Album and His Approach to Hip-Hop (Interview Part 1)
“He’s a dancer that knows how to play with the rhythm.”

This is what Park Jin Young of JYP Entertainment said about Taeyang who is signed under YG Entertainment, one of his rival companies. Taeyang, who displayed his devotion to R&B, went under a transformation and has returned with a hip-hop track, “Ringa Linga.” He demonstrates his talent as a dancer when he performs on stage. His powerful choreography and disciplined movements seize the stage. He possesses something that can’t be attained from practice; he has ‘soul.’

The dance video to “Ringa Linga”, which was revealed prior to the release of his single, is receiving a good response. Taeyang flew to L.A. to record the video with 12 of the best dancers in the U.S. More surprising thing is that Taeyang stands out within the group. The video was so hot that Rihanna began following him on Instagram. On November 11, Taeyang had an interview session with Ilgan Sports at a café in Hongdae, Seoul. He did not cover up his anticipation for his new album. “I made the kind of music I wanted to do the most. I want to perform on stage. I would perform standing on top of a box if I had to.” Taeyang plans to release his complete album after releasing his singles.

- You came out with a hip-hop track “Ringa Linga” rather than an R&B track. Why hip-hop?
“It’s the type of music I’m into right now. I showed a lot of my emotional side before, but my original dream was to become a rapper. Hip-hop is what I like most and what I am best at right now.”

- Could it be the influence of G-Dragon who wrote and composed the song?
“I was working on the song and Jiyong (G-Dragon) made the chorus in minutes after listening to it. I liked it a lot, so I thought it would be better to let him take charge of the whole song. We finished the recording in one day. Teddy hyung and Jiyong know best about the color and the range of my voice. They make songs that are easy for me to sing.”

- The dance video is creating a buzz aside from the music video. What lead you to making it?
“There’s an American dancer named Parris Goebel. I fell in love with her style after watching her videos. I showed this to [Yang] Hyun Suk hyung, and he said, ‘I’ll give you three days. Go to America, learn for a day, film for a day, and come back.’ I went to the U.S. right after filming the music video.”

- The chorus to “Ringa Linga” sounds very fun. Where did the inspiration come from?
“It was Jiyong’s idea. It came from a Korean children’s song ‘Round and Round.’ Both Teddy hyung and Jiyong think of ways to make the songs catchy.”

- Your second album is going to release soon. Can you tell us about it?
“I prepared for this album for three years. I included songs I made over the time period, so the tracks are diverse. R&B and hip-hop are a given, but there is also electronic, ballad, and rock. It was difficult because it took so long to finish. Sometimes, I just wanted to hurry up and release it. It was difficult for me to hold in my urge to perform on stage. I couldn’t do anything because I didn’t know when my album was coming out. I wanted to meet girls and travel, but I felt uncomfortable about doing anything. I want to release it quickly and do something else.”

- Why was it delayed?
“I got greedy. It’s hard for me to accept it when someone else doesn’t like something I like. I feel the same way even if it involves the boss [Yang Hyun Suk]. I waited until the boss liked my music. I made him listen to my music until he liked it.”

- Did you feel resentment towards him?
“If he said ‘No’ I would have started over from scratch, but I was disappointed because my schedule kept being pushed back. But when I look back now, I’m thankful for the outcome. It was actually my selfishness that led to the delay. The boss took in all of this and allowed me to release my album.”

Na Young Suk PD Compares Lee Seo Jin and Lee Seung Gi as “Baggage Boys”

Na Young Suk PD Compares Lee Seo Jin and Lee Seung Gi as “Baggage Boys”

Na Young Suk PD slightly revealed his post-trip thoughts after returning from Croatia with the new “Nunas Over Flowers” cast.

Na Young Suk along with the “Nunas Over Flowers” team returned from Croatia on November 10 after finishing filming.

During an interview, Na Young Suk shared, “It was a good trip. Since the main cast was all female, they were filled with emotions and had great reactions. The atmosphere was entirely different from the grandpa team.”

He also mentioned the new “baggage boy,” Lee Seung Gi by saying, “He was supposed to be the baggage boy but he ended up being baggage himself,” as a joke.

“Since Lee Seung Gi is still young, he never had to lead such big-time seniors like this before. So there were a lot of times when he was very lost and very flustered,” Na PD explained.

Na PD added, “Lee Seung Gi’s specialty, his heodang (person who falls short of the things they do or say) charm came out a lot. He was a baggage boy who was completely different from Lee Seo Jin.”

Lastly, Na PD commented, “It was a very fun trip. Viewers will be able to experience a new kind of fun that is different from the grandpa series.”

Meanwhile, “Nunas Over Flowers” will start airing at the end of November.

Dispatch Releases Audio Recording of Phone Call with Ailee’s Ex-Boyfriend

[Updated with Transcript] Dispatch Releases Audio Recording of Phone Call with Ailee’s Ex-Boyfriend
On the morning of November 14, news agency Dispatch released the audio recording of their phone call with Ailee’s ex-boyfriend. The video was shared through their official Dispatch YouTube channel.

As we previously reported, after news that Ailee’s nude photos have been shared online, Dispatch released a statement that they had previously been contacted by someone who claimed to be Ailee’s ex-boyfriend and had nude photos he wanted to sell.  When Dispatch responded that there might be issues with the sale of photos a person received personally, the ex-boyfriend replied that Dispatch’s answer was different from another media outlet- he would contact that one.  The conversation went on with Dispatch warning the “ex” of the legality of his actions.

The conversation in the audio recording goes exactly as Dispatch reported, with the Dispatch employee repeatedly warning the caller about the consequences of his actions.

On November 13, Ailee’s agency clarified the origins of the photos. “Ailee was scammed into taking nude photos for a fake lingerie company. We have records that she reported this matter to the police. The police agency in U.S. also has the records. What we said is the truth.”

The agency also added, “The important thing is to find the culprit and get Ailee back on track. Still, it was very frustrating that not only netizens, but also some media outlets have expressed their doubts on her story.”

[Update] Here is the transcription of the audio recording.

Ex-boyfriend: I have several photos.
Dispatch: What kind of photos?
E: I have photos of singer Ailee. I want to know if Dispatch is interested or not.
D: What kind of photos?
E: Totally exposed photos.
D: What kind of ‘totally exposed’ photos are you talking about?
E: She’s not wearing anything, from the front to back.
D: You’re saying you have nude photos?
E: Yes, her face and everything shows.
D: Where did you get the photos? What are the origins?
E: I think it will be difficult to tell you personally.
D: I need to know that to tell you if we can report it or not. We can’t report it if you just tell us that they’re exposed photos.
E: I received them.
D: Who did you receive it from?
E: Singer Aillee.
D: Singer Ailee gave you the photos?
E: Yes.
D: Why?
E: It may be hard to believe, but that is the situation.
D: You have to explain this to us for us to make a decision.
E: I was her boyfriend.
D: Excuse me?
E: I was her boyfriend.
D: So you recieved naked photos from her?
E: Naked…what does that mean? I can’t speak Korean well.
D: Ah, are you in Korea right now?
E: No.
D: Are you overseas?
E: Yes.
D: So you received the nude photos through Kakato Talk or a messenger?
E:Yes.
D: And you want to release them?
E: Hm, yes, I suppose so.
D: Just so you know, there might be legal troubles for you if you exchange the photos for money.
E:Oh, really?
D: Of course. Because they are private photos, if you were to disclose it to the press..because it’s not news.
E: Ah…I see. Your saying something different than XXXX (other media company). I understand. I will contact XXXX.
D: Yes, you can give to the XXXX. That doesn’t matter. The important thing is that you are dealing with something dangerous.
E: Why? It’s not illegal.
D: Yes, it is illegal.
E: It’s not illegal in the U.S.
D: If Ailee’s people decide to take legal action because this is an invasion of privacy since they are private photos, it is something she can take to court.

If we were to take the photos, buy them from you, it would be a big deal, but it would be very dangerous for you. This is something you should think about. This is how it’s done in Korea.

If you recall the incident with XXX (celebrity), and other celebrity incidents, the people involved were all arrested and sued.It doesn’t matter who you give it to. You don’t have to give it to us. It doesn’t matter who you sell it to.

The important thing is what you want to do is very dangerous and wrong. I don’t know if something bad happened to you, but this seems like the wrong way to go at it. If you sell those photos, you will be in trouble. Please think about it carefully.

E: Okay.
