EXO Opens Up about Holding Concert without Kris

On May 25 at the Seoul Olympic Park Stadium, during a press conference for boy group EXO’s first solo concert (“EXO FROM. EXOPLANET #1 -THE LOST PLANET” in Seoul), leader Suho referenced the lawsuit by fellow member Kris.

“I was so confused by this situation. The other members of EXO also experienced a lot of physical and emotional stress stemming from the lawsuit which came with our concert only a week away” Suho said. “But we came together and worked even harder to strengthen our teamwork, and it seems that all has gone well during our performance so far.”

Member Baekhyun then added that “Because of this incident that came only a week before our concert, it was possible that we would fail, but our members worked hard. I want to say thank you to the rest of EXO, and that I am proud of you all.”

On May 15, EXO-M member Kris filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment to invalidate his contract with the entertainment agency. Because his activities with the group have been suspended, only 11 members of EXO took the stage at “Lost Planet.”

The concert was directed by world famous choreographer Tony Testa. Well-known image production team Syndrome, which has worked with Jay-Z and Bruno Mars, also took part.

EXO’s Seoul concert marks the start of an Asia wide tour which will make stops in the regions major cities, such as Beijing, Tokyo, and Manila. EXO is also in the midst of promoting their second mini-album, “Overdose.”

KARA express their honest feelings on the changes in their group during their fan meeting

KARA greeted fans as a three-member group for the first time and expressed their honest feelings on the changes in their group on 'Kamilia Day'.

1,000 Kamilias came out to show their support at the '2014 Kamilia Day Fan Meeting' which was held on May 24 at Samsung Card Hall in Blue Square, Hannamdong, Seoul. This also marks KARA's first official group activity in five months.

Gyuri shared, "It's frustrating and I don't like that there are things that I want to say but I cannot say on broadcast... I just hope that you believe in the three of us. No matter what anyone else says, that is not important... We are doing our best... We think we found the best solution to not disappoint you all anymore. Please trust us and wait for us a bit longer."

Seungyeon shared, "I feel the same way as [Gyuri]... Prior to coming here, I should have organized what I was going to say by writing it out but I didn't know what to say after thinking about it for a couple days. I am very sorry that I cannot say it refreshingly... I really had a lot of anxiety this year but because I have been consistently working, I don't know if I was running away [from the problem] or not... There were a lot of people who I had to part with unwillingly this year so I was very lonely. It hurts so much. The people who I really thought would stay by my side of course have left and I think that you all know it well too... I am constantly thinking so I hope that you can wait a little longer... Every time we do something each year, we are really sorry that we are making things difficult for you. I hope that you stay with us a little longer."

Hara shared, "I feel the same way as my unnis", and broke into tears. She continued, "I have faith that you all know how we're feeling very well... I promised my unnis that I wouldn't cry but after seeing your faces, I can't control myself well... I thought about what I should say confidently without crying while looking at your faces, but nothing comes to my mind at the moment. I'm just happy that I get to see you in a long time."

KARA will also celebrate 'Kamilia Day' with fans in Budokan, Japan on June 1.
