What’s Kim Jong Kook’s new nickname on ‘Running Man’?

Kim Jong Kook added yet another nickname to his repertoire of athletics-inspired characters on ‘Running Man‘.

 

On the latest episode, one of the missions involved the female cast members and guests answering quiz questions – while the males, sitting in the pool, would receive the punishment for a wrong answer – a direct water cannon hit to the face!

 

Taking the entirety of the water cannon blast in a crouched position, the singer forcefully reminded everyone of the famous opening scene of ‘Terminator 2‘. The fog coming up from the heated water added to the effect, showing off Kim Jong Kook’s brawn and charisma that led to the creation of a new nickname, ‘Kook-minator’.

‘Book of the House of Gu‘ has released its trailer featuring stars Lee Seung Gi and Suzy!

 

The drama is the co-production of PD Shin Woo Chul of ‘Secret Garden‘ and ‘Gentlemen’s Class‘ along with writer Kang Eun Kyung of ‘Baker King Kim Tak Gu‘.

 

Lee Seung Gi, miss A‘s Suzy, Lee Sung Jae, Lee Yeon Hee, Choi Jin Hyuk, Jung Hye Young, Uhm Hyo Sub, Yoo Yun Suk, Lee Yoo Bi, and Kim Hye Won will be starring in this highly anticipated drama.

 

The fantasy-historical drama takes place during the Joseon Dynasty and portrays the love and hate relationship of male Gumiho or nine-tailed fox Choi Kang Chi (Lee Seung Gi) and martial arts instructor Dam Yuh Wool (Suzy).

 

The drama will air through MBC beginning on April 8.

Huh Gak reveals he and Kang Min Kyung have gotten awkward

 

On the March 18th broadcast of Mnet‘s ‘Beatles Code 2‘, singer Huh Gak revealed that his relationship with Kang Min Kyung has definitely gotten awkward since their ‘Immortal Song 2‘ days.

 

Huh Gak and Kang Min Kyung’s love line started during their period on ‘Immortal Song 2‘ and unlike some celebrities who get closer and even start dating because of their on-screen love line, it seems the two singers only got more awkward with each other.

 

If you remember, the two singers were at one time were fixed cast members of the singing program, in which Huh Gak was widely known for having a crush on Kang Min Kyung. However, with more and more interviews and tv programs further probing for progress in the two’s relationship, Huh Gak and Kang Min Kyung ended up being asked the question about dating, perhaps a little too much than necessary. This led both to become a bit more distant from one another.

 

MC Shindong asked Huh Gak in the latest episode of ‘Beatles Code’, “Is Kang Min Kyung your ideal type?”, Huh Gak flatly denied the question, responding, “No”. Shindong continued, “You previously said that if you look at Kang Min Kyung, your ears become red.”

 

Huh Gak explained, “It’s because she is really pretty. But after confessing that she is my ideal type, our relationship became awkward. I did an opening performance with Kang Min Kyung at an year-end ceremony and Kang Min Kyung’s fans took it very seriously. But it was not a serious issue.”

ZE:A5 to open Korean promotions at upcoming showcase

 

ZE:A subunit ZE:A5 will be making their official debut in Korea at their ‘Open Showcase‘ to be held at Lotte World on the 24th. The group will perform songs from their upcoming mini-album for the first time.

 

The concert poster released through ZE:A’s official homepage reads, “Five types of excitement will knock on your hearts.”

 

Star Empire Entertainment stated, “As the group will unveil their music to fans for the first time through the showcase, we prepared it so that it would be a memorable event. We think Lotte World is a good place to bring the fantastic excitement to ZE:A5′s fans.”

After School’s UEE gets embarrassed by her weight on ‘Running Man’?

 

On the latest episode of ‘Running Man‘, After School‘s UEE faced a bit of embarrassment because of her weight.

 

One of the missions required Yoo Jae Suk to carry UEE while doing the limbo. When UEE tried to remove her heavy gown before starting the game, Yoo Jae Suk confidently stated, “No, you can keep it on.”

 

However, the instant Yoo Jae Suk lifted UEE, he fell over and said, “UEE is weird. This isn’t the UEE I know,” causing everyone to laugh.

 

Viewers commented, “Maybe she weighs more than she looks,” and “No wonder. She actually looks better now.”

miss A’s Fei is getting more comfortable on variety shows

miss A‘s Fei is becoming a rising star in the variety show field, and she revealed that she’s adjusting well to the scene.

 

In a recent interview, Fei stated, “Whenever I feature on a variety show, I have to show them some kind of comedic talent, but I don’t have any. When I’m on a variety show, I keep thinking of something funny to show. I try to remember funny stories whenever I normally hear them. I tell my members, ‘Remember this. I will share this story when I come out on a variety show.’”

 

When I appear on a variety show with my members, I tend to not speak much. I am not normally an outgoing person, so I showed a very quiet side in the past. Now that I get to go on variety shows by myself, I say a lot naturally.

 

“I used to worry about what would happen if I say something wrong because I am a foreigner, but as I keep doing variety shows, that pressure goes away. It’s not as difficult as it once seemed.”

 

Fei is currently starring on the variety shows ‘Master Chef Korea Celebrity‘ and ‘Dancing with the Stars 3‘.

SM Entertainment responds to criticisms against Onew giving the middle finger

 

With the heated attention of netizens on SHINee‘s Onew after seeing the idol giving the middle finger during a radio broadcast, SM Entertainment has responded to the criticisms.

 

As mentioned before, on the March 18th broadcast of ‘Younha’s Starry Night‘, the SHINee members featured as guests, and during the introduction segment, Onew’s hand was spotted on the screen during the filming of the radio program. This led many to express their disappointment and question why the idol had given the middle finger when cameras were rolling.

 

Although it turns out Onew and his members were just playing around before they officially started their talk segments on the radio program when the hand gesture came about, SM Entertainment didn’t make any excuses and simply commented, “Whatever the reason is, it was the wrong thing to do. Onew is self-reflecting. He will be more careful in the future.”

Junsu’s mother shared on her Twitter on the 17th, “After the game, a snapshot taken with my two sons backstage,” proudly sharing the mentioned photo. The snapshot shows Junsu with his twin brother Kim Junho and mother enjoying their day out as a family.
