On the November 7 installment of JTBC's 'Ssul Jeon,' Heechul talked about SM Entertainment's stance on their idols composing their own music as well as SM's very own composer Yoo Young Jin, who recently ranked fourth on the list of song producers who made the highest income in 2012.

In this episode, Kim Gu Ra asked in relation to SM Entertainment, "Why don't they raise their singers as composers, too?"

Heechul replied, "In Lee Soo Man's opinion, 'If you're not better than the expert composers, just accept the music and sing it.'  He says the purpose is to leave it to the experts and have fun on stage."

However, Kim Gu Ra continued, "This could seem true on the surface.  But wouldn't it be better if they motivated you if you did well like in YG?  If even Kangin were to practice self-restraint and write songs, he could become a prominent singer-songwriter," making everyone laugh.

Heechul responded, "We likewise think it would be nice if we could do both, but we cannot get over the wall that is Yoo Young Jin and Kenzie."

Kim Gu Ra asked, "How are Yoo Young Jin's songs?  From the receiving end, do you think there is a competitive edge?"

As usual, Heechul was very truthful in his answer: "There was a time I listened to the guide version and thought, 'What do I do?' . . . Girls' Generation's 'The Boys' did well just because it was Girls' Generation.  I even said once that I don't know what would happen if someone else sang that song."

Kim Gu Ra amused everyone by referring to a forgotten girl group, "It wouldn't have done well if it were T.T.Ma."

Heechul reveals his disappointment in the 'Infinity Challenge Song Festival' especially Gil & BoA's performance

Heechul talked about his disappointment in this year's 'Infinity Challenge Song Festival' on the November 7 episode of 'Ssul Jeon.'

He said, "2007, 2009, 2011, 2013...  I thought this year's was the worst," and went into what he thought was the problem, "First of all, in relation to BoA and Gil's performance, Gil is really charismatic when he does hip hop performances, but whether he still feels awkward on 'Infinity Challenge,' he just kept smiling awkwardly and maybe they put on the song a lot, but it was obvious he wasn't singing most of the time."

Netizens wrote, "It's true it was the worst, but don't blame it on Gil.  To be more accurate, the problem was the song BoA chose because it was not good and immature", "I agree, it wasn't as good as past years", and "Maybe I'm in the minority but I liked all the songs this year".

Girl's Day's Hyeri & Tony An revealed to have broken up

It's been said that Tony An and Girl's Day's Hyeri have parted ways.

The couple went public with their relationship earlier this year, drawing much attention from fans of both. However, it was said that the two have now broken up, ending their romance of 8 months, to remain just good sunbae and hoobae.

Almost immediately after this rumor surfaced, Tony An's agency spoke: "Tony and Hyeri have recently broken up... It's not that something bad happened. After a long conversation, they decided to go back to being just sunbae and hoobae... Even after their break up, they've remained comfortable with one another and aren't awkward around each other," confirming that it is true.

Hyeri's reps also commented, "The two recently broke up. As they weren't able to meet frequently, they naturally drifted apart."

ZE:A under suspicion of falsely earning school credits + Star Empire releases official statement

Well it's a rough morning for the boys of ZE:A, who have come under fire with accusations raising questions about whether they received special treatment from the cyber university they currently endorse, earning school credits for classes they did not even attend.

According to 'News 8', 'The Board of Audit and Inspection of Korea' or the 'BAI' has found that the record indicates that the member(s) achieved 30 school credits by taking 10 or so classes for 3 semesters. However, from what they found, it wasn't the member(s) taking the classes, but rather the professor and assistant professor who took the classes for them.

As this is a cyber university or an online university, classes are held online and the students must click into the lecture for their attendance. However, it's said that the professor and assistant professor were the ones clicking into these lectures for the member(s) of ZE:A.

When the school was contacted, they said they have no knowledge regarding this matter and also mentioned, "It could be some kind of glitch with the system. It doesn't make sense that the professor would click in and take classes for them." The professor is currently unreachable, having cut off contact, while the assistant professor has quit.

The BAI demanded that the boys be given F's for these classes as it is a regulation that a student must attend more than 3/4 of their lectures in order to not fail the class.

With the news gaining more and more attention, Star Empire has issued an official statement regarding the matter through a press release, revealing that it was the school who decided to do this, and that the members had nothing to do with the falsification.

"ZE:A has never attended classes using illegal methods. We've already revealed to the BAI two months ago that the members have nothing to do with this. We only learned about this ourselves from the BAI's investigation... Thus, the 2010 grades received have been reissued as F's. It is a shame that the school has done such a thing without the student's permission. We are very sorry for causing concern."

The BAI is currently investigating into more cyber universities under suspicion of exchanging school credits for money or endorsements from celebs.
