miss A wins #1 + Performances from SBS 'Inkigayo's Nov. 17th episode

This week there are more fantastic stages, eclectic sounds, and excitement on today's episode of SBS' Inkigayo! Joining us will be entertaining hosts ZE:A's Kwanghee, Lee Hyun Woo, and Girl's Day's Minah.  

On this episode, vocal duo, Davichi returned with "The Letter" and rookie solo NC.A came back with "Oh My God". In addition, trot-idol group LPG made their return to the Inkigayo stage with "Filial Daughters' Generation".

As for the winners, the first place nominees were Big Bang's Taeyang, miss A, and Trouble Maker. In an extremely tight race, miss A came out on top taking home the mutizen.

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun Doesn’t Want to be Known as a Playboy

Super Junior’s Kyuhyun once requested to his management company SM Entertainmentthat comments of him being a “non-celebrity killer” to be deleted from “Radio Star.”

The story was told on the November 13 episode of “Golden Fishery Radio Star” on which Kyuhyun, Kim Gura, Yoon Jong Shin, and Kim Gook Jin are the MCs.

On the episode, guest Lim Chang Jung recalled a past moment when he wasn’t sure who Kyuhyun was. Then host Yoon Jong Shin explained that Kyuhyun is the “non-celebrity killer,” referring to a nickname given to Kyuhyun during a previous “Radio Star” episode. In the previous episode, guest Lady Jane had relayed a story from Super Junior membersShindong and Ryeowook that described Kyuhyun as someone who only likes to date and flirt with non-celebrities.

Kyuhyun responded with, “I am not a non-celebrity killer. I don’t know how I got this reputation. I’ve only had one long term relationship.”

Host Kim Gura then revealed that the producer of this show received a call from SM Entertainment asking him to delete all comments related to Kyuhyun being a playboy from the Lady Jane episode.

Host Yoon Jong Shin commented, “You don’t say a lot of things so how can you ask that to be deleted?” Kyuhyun responded, “On the last show, Lady Jane classified me as being a non-celebrity killer, saying she heard it from Shindong. I thought it was unfair, so that’s why I did that.”

Host Kim Gura then commented, “Who cares if people say that? People say things when your successful.” Kyu Hyun jokingly responded, “From now on, I’m going to be the ‘celebrity killer.’”

Lee Jun Ki Promises to Become a Sincere Actor After Winning at “2013 APAN Star Awards”

On November 17, actor Lee Jun Ki posted a status on his Twitter, “I promise to become a sincere and good actor. Bravo ‘Two Weeks.’ Yes, yes. I’ve put on display my 40th award- ‘best actor’ award. It really does shine,” along with photos of him and his trophy.

On November 16, at the Daejeon drama festival’s award ceremony, “2013 APAN Star Awards,” the actor won the best leading actor award for his performance in the recent MBCdrama, “Two Weeks.”

Other actors that won awards that night include Song Hye Gyo, Lee Bo Young, Lee Jong Suk, Kim So Yeon, Choi Jin Hyuk, and Kim Woo Bin, among others.

Min, Fei, and Hyeri test out their flexibility against contestant with back of steel on 'Star King'

miss A's Min and Fei along with Girl's Day's Hyeri competed against a contestant known for her back of steel on 'Star King'!

The Chinese contestant, In Ssu Ri (27), who claims the title as 'girl with a back of steel', amazed viewers with her flexibility to flip her back 180 degrees to perform stunts.

Fei shared, "In China, there are a lot of flexible people. There are a lot of people like her in dance schools. But the stunt in which she flipped her back and drank water, you really need a lot of back strength for that."

Hyeri then attempted to follow the contestant by lifting one leg up to her neck and perform archery at the same time with the help of fellow member Sojin but failed. Fei also tried to perform the difficult stunt of flipping her back and drinking a glass of juice while Min successfully performed a split while keeping a bottle from falling on her head.

B1A4's Sandeul and Choi Min Soo pair up on 'Immortal Song 2'

B1A4's Sandeul and 'tough guy' actor Choi Min Soo paired up to sing on the November 16th episode of 'Immortal Song 2'.

Choi Min Soo commented, "I've never watched 'Immortal Song', but I think that music is communication," on why he joined the show. Sandeul also said, "It was comfortable as sunbae took the lead, and it was a good experience because I got to learn a lot."

The two covered Shin Joong Hyun's "Woman in the Rain", intermingling Choi Min Soo's trademark rough voice and Sandeul's smooth ad-libs. 

They managed to defeat Kim Young Ho and Jo Jang Hyuk's 4-round streak, but Lim Chang Jung and Kim Chang Ryul won this episode.

'K-Pop Star 3' unveils BTS photos of the judge panel's perfect teamwork

With a little more than a week to go until its premiere, 'K-Pop Star 3' unveiled behind-the-scenes photos of its new and improved judge panel, displaying their perfect teamwork!

The BTS photos give us a picture of what it will be like with new judge Yoo Hee Yeol in the mix and even catches Yang Hyun Suk checking himself out. J.Y. Park and Yoo Hee Yeol, who have been friends since before their debut, showed their natural teamwork, while Yang Hyun Suk eased Yoo Hee Yeol's nerves with his lighthearted jokes. 

A rep commented, "We didn't expect the three judges' harmony to be this good. Through their perfect strength and weakness control, they showcased a well-balanced evaluation... Rising Expectations for Shin Yong Jae’s First Appearance on “Perfect Singer”

4Men’s Shin Yong Jae will be appearing on tvN’s “Perfect Singer” for the first time.

After setting a record of four wins on KBS 2TV’s “Immortals Songs 2” last year, the singer will join the team of singers on the show. Expectations of Shin Yong Jae’s performance on the show is rising especially since he won so many battles on “Immortal Songs 2” and at times making the audience feel overwhelmed with emotion through his singing.

“Perfect Singer” shows the battle between the singer team and dream singer team. Each of the singers is scored on tune, rhythm, and vibration using a high-tech music verification system, “V Scanner.” 

Meanwhile, Shin Yong Jae and the other members of 4Men are planning to hold a year-end concert on December 24 and 25 at Ehwa Women’s University Auditorium in Seoul.

Super Junior’s Shin Dong Gets a New Haircut

Shin Dong, member of boy group Super Junior revealed his new and different hairstyle.

On November 15, Shin Dong posted on his Twitter account a photo of himself along with the short description, “I got a haircut!”

In the photo, Shin Dong shows off his new haircut. He is styling a short bang as he gives an intense gaze at the camera.

Netizens complimented on the new style saying it is “Cute” and “It suits you well!”

Moreover, Shin Dong and the members of Super Junior performed for 10,000 fans at the “Super Junior World Tour Super Show 5 in London” on November 9 at the Wembley Stadium. In addition, the group also gave a special lecture at England’s prestigious Oxford University on November 10.

Ivy Reveals She Has a Bed Scene With Joo Won for “Ghost” the Musical

Singer Ivy and “Good Doctor” actor Joo Won recently revealed to viewers that they will be performing a bed scene together for their musical, “Ghost.” 

On November 15, Ivy and Joo Won made guest appearances on KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook” and performed the number, “Here Right Now” from “Ghost.” 

During the interview portion of the show, MC Yoo Hee Yeol asked what many fans were dying to know, “Will you have a kiss scene together in the musical?” Ivy replied, “I think a lot of females should definitely go and see this musical. Joo Won will be exposing his upper body, and I will be the taking his [shirt] off during our bed scene.”  

“Ghost” is a musical adaptation of the 1990 American romance/fantasy film, “Ghost” which is about a woman rescued by the ghost of her lover with the help of a psychic. “Ghost” will be having their first show on November 24!

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA vs. IU: Which Singer Will Top the Upcoming Drama Ratings?

YoonA (Girl’s Generation) and IU will soon be battling each other for the ratings top spot when their dramas debut in the coming weeks.

Yoona will be featured in the upcoming KBS2 Mon-Tues drama “Prime Minister and I.” She will play a struggling reporter who becomes a tutor for the prime minister’s kids so she can get better stories. The drama has been described as the Korean version of “The Sound of Music.”

IU will be featured in the upcoming KBS2 Wed-Thurs drama “Beautiful Man.” She will play a naive girl who does her best to please the beautiful man Dokgo Ma Te.

“Prime Minister and I” will premiere on December 9, 2013 and “Beautiful Man” will premiere on November 20, 2013. Fans will be the true winners of this battle, as we get to see two wonderful singers display their acting talents.
