Hollywood actor Bruce Willis compliments ‘Red 2′ co-star Lee Byung Hun



KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Weekly‘ recently sat down for an interview with ‘A Good Day to Die Hard‘ (‘Die Hard 5‘) co-stars Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney on the February 9th broadcast.
 
When asked about his Korean co-star Lee Byung Hun for upcoming Hollywood move ‘Red 2‘, Bruce Willis had only good things to say about him and shared, “He is terrific, fun to work with, funny, and a really big star, superstar.” Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney also shared their love for the ‘Die Hard’ series and a preview on the father-son relationship that will unravel in the upcoming installment.
 
‘Red 2′ featuring Lee Byung Hun and Bruce Willis, just to name a few, recently released its official trailer and will hit theaters this August. ‘Die Hard 5′ will hit theaters this Valentine’s Day!

Magician compliments Girls’ Generation’s Yuri for her strength under pressure



On the upcoming episode of MBC‘s ‘Magic Concert‘, Girls’ Generation‘s Hyoyeon and Yuri impressed a veteran magician with their ability of deception.
 
German mentalist Danny Ocean performed psychological magic through which the panel hides a coin in both of their hands and he correctly guesses the location of the coin as well as whether its heads or tails. But when it was Yuri’s turn to battle it out with the magician, Yuri seemed calm and didn’t blink her eyes once leaving the magician a little confused.
 
Danny Ocean later complimented Yuri on her lying and stated, “This person lies the best.”
 
The girls also participated in a ‘dduk slicing contest’ and showed off their slicing skills.

Shinhwa Announces Their Comeback “2013 SHINHWA 15th Anniversary Concert”
 
On February 8, Shinhwa’s agency announced the legendary group’s comeback through their official website (http://www.shinhwacompany.co.kr). The poster for their comeback “2013 SHINHWA 15th Anniversary Concert” to commemorate the group’s15 years since their debut was revealed.
 
Renown photographer, Cho Sun Hee, created a masterpiece for the poster working with the Shinhwa members, actor So Ji Sub and Actress Shin Min Ah.
 
Large scale banners for the ‘2013 SHINHWA 15TH Anniversary Concert’ are visible hanging on interchanges, bridges and streets of Seoul, attracting the attention of everyone passing by.
In particular, some of the super-sized banners are large enough to see from far away. The phrase, “THE LEGEND CONTINUES,” is written to give notice that once again, Shinhwa is creating a new history.
 
More street banners will be hung mainly around the Jongno area of Seoul starting next week.
Shinhwa is the only group amongst all the early Korean idol groups to maintain all of their members since day one. With their anticipated perfect performance and great team work, fans will feel a lot of passion and excitement at the 15th anniversary concert.
 
Shinhwa is co-producing the ”2013 SHINHWA 15TH Anniversary Concert” with CJ E&M. The two day concert will be held at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastic Stadium on March 16 and 17. Tickets will be released for sale starting February 13.

Uee Talks About Finishing Up Drama “Jeon Woo Chi”

After School‘s Uee recently shared her messages with regards to the ending of the KBS 2TV’s drama “Jeon Woo Chi.”
 
The series ended on February 7, where Uee’s character returns to her hometown of Yul-Do and lives happily ever after.
 
On February 8, the actress and singer turned to her me2day to share her thoughts on the ending of the series saying, “‘Jeon Woo Chi’ has finally come to an end. Thank you to everyone who continued to watch and love the series until the very end! It will forever be an unforgettable and precious drama experience to me.”
 
She went on to say, “And to our ‘Jeon Woo Chi’ family members – you all worked so hard even though it was freezing at times during filming. I’d also like to thank those who loved ‘Jeon Woo Chi’ no matter what. I hope you all have a wonderful new year. ‘Jeon Woo Chi’ is the best!”
 
Along with her me2day messages, Uee also shared photos of herself in a pink traditional hanbok during a battle scene from the drama and a photo of some cast members from “Jeon Woo Chi” posing cheerfully together.
 
In related news, “Jeon Woo Chi” retained a viewership rating of 15.2% throughout its broadcast, which placed it as the number 1 drama for Wednesday and Thursday showtimes.

SHINee releases Minho’s teaser photos for “Dream Girl”!


 
SHINee has released the teaser images for Minho! This follows the news of their anticipated return with their 3rd full length album.
 
Key‘s teasers were released first, and hinted at the concept of this new album. SM Entertainment revealed the concept of the photos were ‘dream’ when they released Taemin‘s and Jonghyun’s photos. Today, the ‘dreamy’ concept continues with the new photos of Minho.
 
The album will be revealed through iTunes as well as domestic music sites on the 19th and the title track will be called, “Dream Girl“. SM Entertainment promises that this new release will be another comeback that showcases the unique charms of the group.

On the February 9th broadcast of KBS Cool FM‘s ‘Super Junior’s Kiss the Radio‘, hosted by Super Junior‘s Ryeowook and Sungmin, there was a bit of some trolling on their fellow members.

KPOPCON’13, a K-Pop Convention for Fans, by Fans!
After having a successful inaugural event last year, KPOPCON is back again this year at Northern California to let fans celebrate and share their love of K-Pop! KPOPCON is a two-day K-Pop convention that unites fans of all backgrounds to celebrate the continuously evolving K-pop world in a social, creative, and academic setting.
 
This year’s Keynote speaker is famed choreographer Aimee Lee Lucas. She is known for working with many big names in the K-Pop industry such as Big Bang, Taeyang, G-Dragon, Se7en, 2NE1, SHINee, Girls’ Generation, BoA, and more!
 
Like last year, the first day will feature the keynote address, K-Pop and K-Drama related panels, choreography workshops, and performances. The second day consists of a fan meet with various K-Pop fan sites for DBSK, B1A4, SHINee, as well as YesStyle/YesAsia, Viki, and Soompi as well.
 
The fan meet will include a cosplay competition, talent show, and many raffle giveaways.

During the filming of MBC’s reality show “We Got Married,” which was aired on February 9, Kwanghee’s parents visited Kwanghee and Sunhwa’s house to celebrate the lunar New Year.
 
After Kwanghee and Sunhwa gave “saebae,” which is a traditional form of bowing, Kwanghee’s mother and Sunhwa started to prepare for a traditional meal of bean noodle soup and anchovies dumplings. Because it has been many years since she cooked these traditional meal, Kwanghee’s mother had difficulties. However, thought it was her first time making the particular dishes, Sunhwa showed off her great cooking skills and helped out. This was a pleasant surprise to Kwanghee’s mother.
 
Meanwhile, Kwanghee recently revealed during an interview in “Section TV” his honest thoughts on the show “We Got Married.”

Lunar New Year special ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day’ shares preview of “Dream Girl” choreography?



SHINee‘s own Lunar New Year special, ‘SHINee’s Wonderful Day‘ aired earlier today in Korea on MBC.
As SHINee are preparing for their comeback with “Dream Girl“, the special documentary gave a brief glimpse of their upcoming choreography as the boys danced in SM’s famous cloud dance practice room. The narrator states that the boys are working hard as the prepare for their comeback. However, since the narrator doesn’t specifically state that the choreography is for “Dream Girl”, there’s a chance they’re practicing the choreography for their upcoming Japanese single “Fire“.
The special featured the SHINee members visiting various countries and enjoying themselves in the respective countries. For the special, Onew visited Thailand, Jonghyun visited Japan, Key and Minho visited England, and Taemin visited Switzerland.

Krystal’s high school teacher reveals how she was as a student


f(x)‘s Krystal recently attended her graduation ceremony at the Hanlim Performing Arts High School in Seoul on the 7th and was honored with an achievement award. Fellow members Victoria, Amber, and Luna also came to show their support and performed a congratulatory stage.
Her teacher Kwon Soon Bae had nothing but good things to say about her student Krystal and shared, “Because she is a celebrity, I thought she would be a bit pretentious, but in school she is a very exemplary student who consistently wears her uniform and white sneakers. Soo Jung (Krystal’s real name) also comes to school with no makeup on.”
“Whenever there is an exam, the way that Krystal works hard to study as much as she can and take the test impressed me. She gets along well with her classmates as well. There are a lot of people who say Krystal is cold in the public eye, but the Krystal seen up close in the classroom is a carefree and shy student. Her handwriting is also very pretty. Krystal is student who is kind and laughs a lot when she is with her friends.”

2AM’s Jinwoon and Go Jun Hee meet for the first time on ‘We Got Married’


We Got Married 4‘s newest couple, 2AM‘s Jinwoon and actress Go Jun Hee, met for the first time on the February 9th broadcast.

After stepping on set, Go Jun Hee revealed a bit of what she hoped her on-screen husband would be like. She stated, “I hope he doesn’t have double eyelids and he’s taller than I am,” adding that she’d prefer an idol over an actor.

The actress took extra pains to make a great first impression, telling her stylist, “I want to be both cute and sexy.” She ultimately went with a red dress and black leather jacket.

On his first time at the ‘We Got Married’ studio, Jinwoon commented, “I’d like someone kind and innocent. I would prefer her to be the same age as I am or older. I’d be okay with someone that’s up to 6 or 7 years older.” Go Jun Hee happens to be 6 years older than the idol star.

Jinwoon prepared a song for his on-screen wife, while Go Jun Hee gifted him chocolates she made herself.

Ha Ji Won recently talked about Hyun Bin.
 
On the February 8 episode of MBC’s Section TV Entertainment News, Ha appeared on the set to take a pictorial.
 
A reporter for the show asked Ha, “Hyun Bin has been discharged from the military. Did you see him?” Ha answered, “I sent him a text message congratulating him on his discharge. We were going to see each other after shooting for the movie finishes up, but we haven’t seen each other yet.”

Boohwal’s Jung Dong Ha to leave ‘Immortal Song 2′



Boohwal‘s Jung Dong Ha has officially left ‘Immortal Song 2‘.
 
A rep from the show announced, “Due to a musical and other music promotions, Jung Dong Ha will be leaving ‘Immortal Song’. He completed filming the Lim Jae Bum special on February 4th.”
 
Jung Dong Ha joined the competitive program in October of 2012. The last broadcast featuring the singer will air on February 23rd KST.
The singer’s replacement has not yet been decided.

Actor Song Joong Ki revealed his childhood dreams.
 
On the February 9th episode of ‘Entertainment Relay‘, the crew visited Song Joong Ki at a photo shoot set. The topic of his childhood dream came up, and he answered, “I wanted to be a diplomat, and there were times I thought about working at a broadcast station. In elementary school, I wrote that I wanted to be an actor. My elementary school dream came true.”
 
He also discussed his college days, saying, “I bought a lot of alcohol and food for my hoobaes. It’s because I received a lot from my sunbaes.”
 
In other news, Song Joong Ki signed an exclusive contract with Blossom Entertainment, which also houses actor Cha Tae Hyun, this month. He’s currently taking a break after ‘Nice Guy‘ and considering future projects.

Hwang and Han Seon Hwa ran to her and she said to her daughter-in-law Han, “I’m glad to see you in real life rather than on TV. You look pretty.”
 
Then she made the couple laugh out loud by saying, “She is like a doll in real life.” Park Mi Sun, MC for the show, said, “I guess Hwang learned to be funny from his mother.”
