Mir thought he would be most popular in MBLAQ + joked he would audition for YG after getting popular

MBLAQ had a fun time chatting about popularity on the April 15 installment of Mnet's 'Beatles Code 3D'!

On this day, the MCs asked which member naturally became the center of attention during their early debut days.  The boys all chose Lee Joon.

G.O added, "I was the center of criticism," making everybody laugh.  He continued, "I gave off a strong impression because of my facial hair, which led to criticism.  I had a lot of male fans."

Mir then said, "I thought I would be the one to gain the most popularity in MBLAQ."  Shindong asked, "How much longer do you think Mir will be in MBLAQ?"

G.O replied, "Mir had said that after gaining popularity in MBLAQ, he would audition for YG," making everybody burst into laughter.

G.O explains why he was angry when he was linked to the So Ji Sub and Jooyeon dating scandal

The past dating rumor between actor So Ji Sub and After School's Jooyeon came up on Mnet's 'Beatles Code 3D' on April 15 as MBLAQ's G.O was present on the show and had been involved in the rumor, as well.  He was linked to this scandal as the alleged person who connected the two together.

The MCs said, "We heard that G.O got very angry when the dating rumor between So Ji Sub and Jooyeon came out."

G.O explained, "I was close to Jooyeon since [I was in] TYKEYS.  While I was eating with Jooyeon, So Ji Sub called me up," which is how the three ended up sitting together. He continued, "Words about that grew and grew until it came out in the news that I introduced the two.  I was greatly criticized during that period and called 'Introducer G.O.'"

Also on this day, G.O said, "While promoting as MBLAQ, I did not date even once," which caused Lee Joon to make a sound of disbelief that got the whole studio laughing.

Yang Hyun Suk personally recruits 'K-Pop Star 3's Lee Chae Young into YG Entertainment

'K-Pop Star 3's Lee Chae Young has joined YG Entertainment!

A YG rep told OSEN on the 16th, "We are aware that Lee Chae Young caught the eye of Yang Hyun Suk while he was judging for 'K-Pop Star 3'. Yang thinks that rather than YG competing to scout 'K-Pop Star 3' contestants, we consult with JYP and Antenna Music about nurturing a dream with potential for growth together."

"We doubt that Yang Hyun Suk will make 13-year-old Lee Chae Young debut immediately. Yang thinks that she can grow more in a few areas if she spends 3-4 years training under YG's systematic singer training program... It's his style to find talent early on and train them well."

The agency also later told several other media outlets, "We have recruited Lee Chae Young. Yang Hyun Suk had kept his eyes on her and informed the staff of the show that he wanted to recruit her. Lee Chae Young also said that it was her dream to sign with YG, so she accepted the offer."

Lee Chae Young first appeared on 'K-Pop Star' and returned two years later on 'K-Pop Star 3' and now her persistence paid off with her recruitment to YG Entertainment!

Sandara Park and Taeyang Take Adorable Photos with Haru

2NE1 member Sandara Park and Big Bang member Taeyang both took photos of their meeting with Tablo’s daughter, Haru!

On April 13, Sandara tweeted a photo of her making V-signs with Haru along with the caption, “Harudara (Haru + Sandara Park)! Our pretty Haru~ with auntie Dara.” 

Big Bang’s Taeyang also shared a photo he had taken with Haru on his Instagram account with the adorable caption, “My superstar #Haru.” In the photo, Taeyang is seen giving Haru a kiss while Haru wears a hilarious expression, unable to contain her shock at being able to meet one of her favorite stars. 

On that day, YG Entertainment artists were in Osaka, Japan performing at the Kyocera dome for the “2014 YG Family Concert.” 

In related news, Haru and daddy Tablo are currently filming KBS 2TV’s “Superman Retuns” and have received great love from viewers.

Super Junior-M’s Henry Joins Instagram!

Henry of Super Junior-M has joined the wonderful world of Instagram!

After being an avid user of Twitter and using the service to connect with his fans, Henry announced the start of his Instagram account on April 15. He wrote on his Twitter, “instagram start! @henryl89,” and confirmed the authenticity of his account.

So far, he has posted three photos on his Instagram. The first two are taken backstage at a photoshoot, where he can be seen playing around with an adorable furry friend. The third one shows him dressed up in a sharp suit and charismatically posing for the camera. 

His fans have welcomed him to the Instagram community, expressing their joy to see Henry start communicating with his fans through various snapshots of his life.

Tablo Confirmed to Host His Own Radio Show After a Five-Year Break

Epik High‘s Tablo will be returning to the radio station after a long break of four years and ten months.

He has been confirmed as the host of a daily radio show titled “Tablo’s Dreamy Radio,” which will start airing on MBC FM4U on April 21. The listeners can spend time with Tablo from 10pm until midnight.

This will mark his return to the radio scene after four years and ten months, as he last hosted the show in June 2009. Through the radio show, he will share his expertise in the field of producing and being a musician.

“I hope to make it a radio that would have ‘music you want to come and listen’ and ‘stories you want to hear,’” Tablo revealed his thoughts on becoming a DJ again.

Uee Talks about Graduating from After School and Her Acting Career

Last month, Uee successfully finished the MBC weekend drama “Golden Rainbow,” where she showed her talents not as After School’s Uee, but the actress, Uee. Recently, Uee had an interview with Daily Sports on the drama and her career with After School.

-I DON’T THINK WE’VE SEEN YOU TAKE A BREAK, GOING BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN ACTING AND PERFORMING WITH AFTER SCHOOL.

“I don’t think I’ve ever taken a proper break. After School’s next album is going to come out this year, but until then, I plan on taking some time off. Luckily, my acting and singing schedules have never overlapped. If they had, I think it would have been really hard. Seeing idols nowadays who do both album promotions and acting at the same time, it’s impressive.”

-GIRL GROUPS HAVE BEEN AT WAR WITH SEXY CONCEPTS LATELY. WASN’T AFTER SCHOOL ONE OF THE ORIGINAL SEXY GIRL GROUPS?

“After School has a different vibe than the sexy girl groups nowadays. After School emphasizes both the sexy and powerful aspect of performances. Moreover, we can’t do overtly sensual choreography like some of the other girl groups. If we do it, they say it’s too dirty. (laughs) We could wear the same tank top and shorts, but the other girl group would pass the review, and we wouldn’t. Honestly, it’s a little bit unfair.”

-YOU SEEM TO HAVE A LOT MORE AMBITION WITH ACTING RATHER THAN SINGING.

“Before, I used to want to perform more than act, but now my ambition for acting has grown so much more. Whenever I think that, I feel that the time is coming for me to graduate from After School. Not that I should immediately, but that eventually, I should pass on my position to my juniors. If I do end up graduating from After School, I would probably focus on acting.”

-DO YOU WANT TO ACT IN MOVIES?

“Why wouldn’t I? I’ve gotten a lot of movie scenarios. But, because the roles were a bit too much for me to handle, I turned them down. Movies and dramas are in different domains. I have no desire to start off in a main role, nor do I feel confident enough to do so. I want to take it slowly, step-by-step, with cameos and supporting roles.”
