Dengan perkembangan teknologi semakin pesat, permainan utama kanak-kanak bukan lagi sekadar anak patung, malah lebih kepada permainan dalam bentuk tablet dan iPad. Tidak mahu diganggu anak semasa sedang sibuk bekerja atau sedang memandu? Mudah sahaja, hulurkan iPad atau tablet dan biarkan anak bermain beberapa jam sehingga bateri habis.

Malangnya, menurut sebuah kajian kesihatan dari Amerika Syarikat menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan iPad atau tablet untuk jangka masa panjang oleh kanak-kanak  boleh melemahkan otot jari dan tangan kanak-kanak yang diperlukan untuk menulis.

Disamping itu, disarankan agar kanak-kanak dihadkan penggunaan iPad atau tablet tidak lebih daripada dua jam sehari. Bagi kanak-kanak dibawah umur dua tahun pula lebih baik dilatih tidak menggunakan iPad atau tablet langsung.

Actress Ha Ji Won Preparing for Hollywood Amid Busy Schedule

Amid her busy schedule filming the chart topping drama “Empress Ki,” top actress Ha Ji Won is preparing for her Hollywood debut.

Ha Ji Won signed with Bevery Hills based UTA (United Talent Agency) last August. After already declining several movie offers from UTA to focus on “Empress Ki,” it seems like Ha Ji Won has found a Hollywood project she likes. She is reported to be sleeping only 3 to 4 hours a day and is constantly studying English. Ha Ji Won is already busy travelling to and from different filming locations for “Empress Ki” such as Changwon and China.

Ha Ji Won is proving why she is a top actress with her drama “Empress Ki.” Episode eight of “Empress Ki” received 16.9% of the viewership according to Nielsen Media.

2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards

The hosts for the English broadcast will be translating the show and giving commentary, so English speakers will be able to understand the show better. The hosts of the English broadcast are LA rapper Dumbfoundead, After School member Bekah, Danny Im, andHannah Jun.

Many great performances are expected tonight at the 2013 MAMA. There will be great performances from world star Rain, boy groups INFINITE and EXO, Lee Seung Gi and Paris Hilton.  The show will also feature a duet between SISTAR‘s Hyorin and living legend Stevie Wonder.

G-Dragon reveals he recorded with Justin Bieber for a song possibly due next year

G-Dragon excited fans as well as left some in agony by revealing that he has something up his sleeve with the help of Justin Bieber!

During the artists press conference prior to the '2013 MAMA' in Hong Kong, the reporters asked, "When Justin Bieber recently came to Korea, you performed at his concert together and afterwards, we are aware that you spent time together. It was nice to see the two of you spending time together but do you have any thoughts of holding a concert in the States or making a debut there with Justin Bieber?"

G-Dragon shared, "I always have plans. Rather than a big project, at this time, I want to just do something in a way where it's more like artists that connect well meet and enjoy things together. That way it'd be more comfortable and allow a fun song to be made."  

And then he mentioned, "If I were to tell you one thing, it'd be that Justin Bieber has already completed the recording. It's my turn now. You'll probably be able to meet [this song] next year."

On this episode, 100% subunit V debuted with "Missing You", VIXX returned with "Voodoo Doll", F.T. Island came back with "Madly", and AlphaBAT finally made their debut with "AB CITY".  

As for the winners, the first place nominees were Trouble Maker and miss A, but in the end miss A won this episode with "Hush"! Congratulations!

Heechul says men prefer Bora's body type over skinny bodies + talks about illegal gambling controversy

On this week's 'Ssul Jeon,' the cast members talked about female body types.  Park Ji Yoon asked if men really liked women who were quite thin to which a few of the male MCs protested.

Heechul explained how most women really wanted a body like Sooyoung's because she was thin and tall like a model.  Park Ji Yoon said that was why Sooyoung looked good in anything she wore.

However, Heechul continued, "But men are not like that.  Men prefer the body of someone like SISTAR's Bora."

The cast members also talked about the illegal gambling controversy that had recently been hovering over celebrities such as Andy, Boom, and Tony An.

Heechul explained how he saw SM Entertainment had called him a couple times so he called back to see what they wanted.  They informed him that his name had been mentioned in relation to the illegal gambling so they were calling to hear his side of the story.

Heechul said, "I think people like me, who come out a lot on shows, were all contacted once about something like this."

Lee Jun Ki in talks to join '1N2D' + Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jong Min to film a day earlier

Although it was reported by various Korean media outlets that Lee Jun Ki would be joining the cast of '1 Night 2 Days,' his agency revealed that they have not yet made their decision.

The agency said, "It is true that we received the offer and are positively reviewing it . . . Nothing has been decided, though."

Meanwhile, John Park, Yook Joong Wan, and SHINee's Minho had also been in talks to join the cast, but it was revealed they had turned the offer down.  

It was also revealed that the original cast members who remained, Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jong Min, would start filming a day earlier than the new members.

Producer Yoo Ho Jin informed media outlet Newsen, "Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jong Min will start filming on November 21, one day before the new members film for the first time on November 22 . . . The two of them decided they would come to the set during their comfortable time after completing their schedule . . . They will both end up filming for two nights and three days in the race to season three's first broadcast."

The first episode of season three is scheduled to broadcast on December 1.

'Pretty Man' premieres and 'Heirs' experiences a huge jump to surpass the 20% viewer rating mark

This week was 'pretty' exciting in K-drama land with the premiere of IU and Jang Geun Suk's drama 'Pretty Man', and the surpassing of the 20% viewer rating mark by 'Heirs'!

With well-loved drama 'Secrets' ending last week, its viewers had no choice but to settle for other options, choosing between 'Heirs', 'Medical Top Team', or 'Pretty Man'. It seems most of 'Secrets' viewers chose to turn to 'Heirs' this week, as the drama experienced an incredible jump of 4.7% from last week for its Wednesday episode! 

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, SBS' 'Heirs' went from 15.9% last week to 20.6% for this week's Wednesday episode. The show continued its momentum by gaining even more to achieve 22.1% for the Thursday (21st)'s episode.

KBS 2TV's 'Pretty Man', despite being the successor of 'Secrets', failed to capture many eyes, recording a lackluster 6.3% viewer rating on Wednesday, which dropped 0.2% to 6.1% on Thursday. 

MBC's 'Medical Top Team' was able to save itself from further despair by gaining some viewers from 'Secrets', and thus rose up from its 3.6% last week to 5.7% and 6.0 for this week's episodes.

Jung Joon Young, Defconn, Kim Joo Hyuk, and Kim Joon Ho confirmed as new cast members of '1N2D'

'1 Night 2 Days' (or '1N2D') has finally confirmed the new line up for season 3 of the show! Jung Joon Young, Defconn, Kim Joo Hyuk, and Kim Joon Ho are the new members joining the existing members Kim Jong Min and Cha Tae Hyun.

Although it was rumored at the last second that actor Lee Jun Ki may be the last member joining the bunch, the actor's agency shot down the speculations, commenting, "Although it is true that we thankfully received a casting offer from KBS, the staff carefully reviewed it... But [Lee Jun Ki] already has a fan meeting and other schedules line up and more than anything else, his will to focus on acting as the actor Lee Jun Ki is strong. We decided that this may conflict with his acting activities so we respectfully rejected the offer."

It was further confirmed to be not true when KBS announced the final line up just recently through their homepage, revealing, "Kim Joo Hyuk, Kim Joon Ho, Defconn, and Jung Joon Young have joined '1N2D' season 3... The 6 members, including the existing members Cha Tae Hyun and Kim Jong Min, will start off a new story together... These 6 have started filming today (22nd) at Gangwondo with Yoo Ho Jin PD."

The new season of '1N2D' will air on December 1!

Chanyeol Selected as Solo MC of New Reality Show “EXO’s Show Time”

EXO‘s Chanyeol has been selected to be the MC of EXO’s first reality show, “EXO’s Show Time.”

Chanyeol has been noticed for his exceptional emcee-ing skills, especially through various music programs and music award shows. Chanyeol is quickly rising as the hottest new MC and has shown his skills through the first recording of the show. Although Chanyeol has emcee-ed with others in various programs, this will be the first time he will be the solo MC in a variety show.

Although Chanyeol impressed with his smooth skills, it is also said that he had a hard time containing all other eleven members and their overflowing energy!

“EXO’s Show Time,” which starts on November 28, is a “reply variety” show where fans send in questions and the EXO members give their answers. It has been reported that the first recording has successfully ended. The EXO members are said to have shared their honest thoughts on starting the show and officially started to answer the countless questions that fans have been sending.

The program aims to show viewers a more natural and realistic side to EXO as your normal, everyday guys in their twenties.

EXO’s Suho commented, “We wanted to show a lot of our natural images to the viewers. I hope this program can also strengthen our teamwork.” D.O added, “Since it is our first reality show, I am a little nervous but I think we will have fun. We will show you many things that we haven’t before so please look forward to it.” Finally, Baekhyun said, “I’m very happy and excited. Dong Bang Shin Ki Keeps Promise to Release 10th Anniversary Special Album

“Hallyu Icon” Dong Bang Shin Ki will keep the promise they made to their fans and release a special album to celebrate the tenth anniversary of their debut.

The album is for Dong Bang Shin Ki’s fans who had stayed with them with unwavering support and faith for the past ten years. In August, the group had promised to celebrate their tenth  anniversary at one of their concerts in Japan. 

A staff member working on the new album revealed, “The members are currently recording the album.  We have our best composers working on this album. Dong Bang Shin Ki will record about twenty songs, so there may be two albums. Even though it may be late, it looks like the album will be released in January.”

At one of their Japanese concerts member Yunho had expressed his feelings about their tenth anniversary. “In December it will be ten years…We are currently working on showing our fans a new image. When I was younger I thought it was impressive when our singers reached ten years, and now here we are. Instead of becoming a big star, we will work on being strong artists.” 

Member Changmin added, “We want to be international singers who go beyond borders and language barriers.”

Dong Bang Shin Ki made their official appearance on December 26, 2003 at the “BoA and Britney Special.” The group sang an a cappella version of the Christmas song “O Holy Night” with BoA and then performed their debut song “Hug” for the first time.

T-ara Reveals Jiyeon’s Teaser for “2013 What Should I Do”

While T-ara is wrapping up promotions for ”Number 9,” they are already preparing for their next comeback with “2013 What Should I do,” on December 2. Their agency, Core Contents Media, have begun teasing the new track by releasing Jiyeon’s teaser image today.

In Jiyeon’s teaser, the tears in her eyes look like they’re about to fall at any second now, while she works the messed-up look with chin-length hair. The two pictures look the same at first glance, but each conveys a different feeling.

T-ara’s new song “2013 What Should I Do” features the T-ara members’ natural acting, and a unique musical-like dance. The music video will also be shot in a musical format.

“What Should I Do” samples from the original 1977 song by The Sand Pebbles, withShinsadong Tiger and Polar Bear writing the new version. The song is described as a dance track that everyone can enjoy; those in their teens will love the arrangement, while those in their 40s will feel a sense of nostalgia.

More revealed on the investigation of Eunhyuk and Sungmin's alleged SNS hacker

It was previously revealed that an 18-year-old high school male was under investigation on the suspicion that he had hacked into Eunhyuk and Sungmin's SNS to post photos of a naked woman.

SM Entertainment revealed to a media outlet on November 21, "Currently, the suspect is undergoing investigation at the police department.  In the meantime, we will see how the investigation goes and then decide on what course of action to take." 

Previously, the Daegu Police Agency had reported through their official Twitter that they were investigating 18-year-old high school student "A."  According to the police, "A" hacked Eunhyuk's Twitter around 4 pm on November 11 and uploaded about ten nude pictures of victim "B," who was revealed to be his ex-girlfriend.  

Meanwhile, some netizens are saying the perpetrator is a trainee at SM Entertainment who goes by the surname Suk, but at the time, there is no evidence supporting their accusation.

After finishing up investigations on "A," the police plans to request an arrest warrant. Stay tuned for updates.

After the photo shoot, Kang Ji Young had a candid interview with Arena where she discusses her image. She said, “Since, I’m the youngest member of the group, people always viewed me as the cute one. G-Dragon Receives an Award at the “2013 Youku Tudou Young Choice Music Awards”

Big Bang’s leader G-Dragon confirmed his popularity in China.

According to YG Entertainment, G-Dragon received the “Most Welcomed Overseas Artist” award at the first “Youku Tudou Young Choice Music Awards” held at the Beijing Olympic Stadium on November 20.

G-Dragon, who was the only Korean singer present at the event, performed two tracks from his “Coup D’état” album, “Coup D’etat” and “Niliria.”

G-Dragon’s second solo album, which was released in September, not only topped charts in Korea, but it also ranked number one on the iTunes charts for multiple countries including Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, and Singapore.

YG Entertainment also stated, “An audience of 10,000 people as well as affiliates of the Chinese entertainment industry were present at the event,” and “Over 500 fans greeted G-Dragon at the airport when he arrived in China to attend the event.”

G-Dragon expressed his appreciation in his thank-you message saying, “Thank you Youku Tudou and SCTV for this honor. Thank you to all my fans in China for supporting me. I love you.”

Meanwhile, G-Dragon and other members of Big Bang will attend the “2013 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA)” on November 22 in Hong Kong. The group will continue its six-dome tour in Japan, which will end on January 13, 2014.
