AMAZING!: PINK LAKE

Hello everyone. Today I want to share something amazing! Today entry about PINK LAKE. Yes, its true the color of the lake is PINK. Can you imagine the lake fill with strawberry milkshake? It will be delicious right? Unfortunately, the water from the lake is SALTY. As far as I know there are 8 notable Pink Lake in this world. Most of the pink lake causes of algae. 

PINK LAKE RETBA, Dakar Region, Senegal.

Size: 3 sq.km. 

Lake Retba or Lac Rose (meaning pink lake) contain very high concentrations of salt (40% of salt). Fortunately the high concentration of salt gives opportunity to the local to extract salt from it. 

PINK HUTT LAGOON, Australia.

Size: 14 km x 2.3 km.

Hutt Lagoon also salt lake near the Hutt river by the west coast in Australia. The water is pink because of the algae, which flourishes in the saline water. Hutt Lagoon gets its salinity from the nearby ocean, which pushes water on high tides and underground seepage.

PINK LAKE, Australia.

Size: 4km x 2km.

Surprisingly, people just call it “pink lake” even though the water not pink all the year. When the lake water rises in salinity and the right amount of the sun hits the lake, the green algae turn into mix pink and red.

PINK “LAKE HILLIER”, Western Australia.

Size: 600m x 250 m.

This lake locates in the Recherche Archipelago, Australia. Unlike Pink Lake that changes color depending on the amount of sunlight and salinity, Lake Hillier has permanent pink color. This lake also has a high concentration of salt, but much smaller than other pink lake. 

PINK LAKE OF SALINA DETORREVIEJA, Spain.

“Salina Detorrevieja” is the pink lake that sandwiches the city of Detorrevieja and the sea. Unlike pink lake Retba, Salina Detorrevieja and its sister lake Salina de La Mata have lower salt concentration. The concentration of the salt has been just right to keep it clean and making these lakes one of the healthiest places on the earth!

DUSTY ROSE LAKE, Canada.

Dusty Rose Lake is the only pink lake that's not saline and does not have any algae, but the color is pink all the year. The pink color due to the particulate in the glacial melt waters feeding it. The surrounding rock is purple/pink and the water feeding the lake is said to have a lavender hue color. 

PINK MASAZIR LAKE or MASAZIRGOL, Azerbaijen.

Size: 10km. sq.

Compared to all other pink lake, this lake is the most commercialized. There many factories set up by the shores. The lake produces over a million ton of salt every year.

PINK LAKE OF QUAIRADING, Australia.

Located in the small town of Quairading, the small lake is pink, almost all the year with some part turning dark and become an almost maroon shade. The salt concentration is lower and the size also smaller.

'Dispatch' captures Sulli and Choiza on an alleged date

Photos of Dynamic Duo's Choiza and f(x)'s Sulli allegedly on a date have just come from Dispatch, who say they've caught the two spending time together on August 10.

As fans all know, the relationship between the two stars remain unclear as although it seems that every sign points to the two being a couple, their relationship was previously denied by the agencies. 

In addition, there have been various Instagram posts from Choiza's cousin, that suggest that Sulli could have possibly been hanging out with Choiza after the announcement of her hiatus from her activities.

To add more fuel to the fire, Dispatch has now unveiled the photos seen below that they say were taken on the night of August 10.

According to the media outlet, Sulli and Choiza enjoyed a night-outing to Namsan Tower and walked around together, with Choiza even holding Sulli's hand at one point to make sure she doesn't slip. Their night didn't end there as they later visited a drive through theater to watch the screening of her movie 'Pirates' from the car.

The agencies have not yet offered a statement in response to these photos. Stay tuned for any possible updates to come!

Song Hye Gyo’s Representation Releases Official Statement of Apology Regarding Tax Evasion

Following recent reports concerning the tax evasion of a certain actress “S,” actress Song Hye Gyo has come forward, releasing an official statement of apology.

The statement was released on August 19 through her legal representation, The Firm, which stated, “We apologize for the late statement; it took some time in gathering the necessary information, as this is an issue from two years ago.”

“Until she [Song Hye Gyo] received word from the National Tax Service, she was not aware of the repeated, inadequate attempts at notification made by the tax officer. On average, the income rate on a celebrity’s annual earnings is about 56.1%, but due to tax investigation and the mistake of the tax officer handling Song Hye Gyo’s tax report, she ended up paying close to twice the normal amount.”

“The accounting firm in question, firm ‘T,’ who incurred a great loss on a client through its negligence and inability to properly direct its employees, is, as we know it, currently being referred to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance for disciplinary procedures. Immediately following the tax investigation, Song Hye Gyo has withdrawn from the firm, and is planning on taking appropriate legal action against tax accountant in charge and the accounting firm.”

The Firm continued, “While a portion of the work was referred to the tax accountant, we are aware that in the end, the responsibility lies on the taxpayer. We sincerely apologize.”

“Song Hye Gyo has paid all original as well as additional taxes concerning the tax investigation from two years ago. However, she is still deeply reflecting on her mistakes. In the future, she will take care not to let the same thing happen again, and we ask for your understanding. Once again, we sincerely apologize.”

EXO’s Chanyeol Confirmed to Star in New Movie for His Big Screen Debut

It has been revealed that EXO member Chanyeol will soon be making his big screen debut!

According to CJ Entertainment on August 19, Chanyeol has confirmed his casting for director Kang Je Gyu’s new production titled “Jang-Soo Store” (working title). The EXO member will be acting alongside actors Park Geun Hyung, Yoon Yeo Jung, Han Ji Min, Jo Jin Woong, Hwang Woo Seul Hye, Moon Ga Young, and more.

Within in the storyline, Chanyeol will be taking on the role of Min Sung—the boyfriend of the Jang-Soo Store owner’s daughter (played by Moon Ga Young)—for his first-ever big screen appearance.

The EXO member has been gaining recognition as a “variety-idol” after appearing on various shows including SBS’ “Law of the Jungle,” as well as “Roommate,” and this time, he will be trying his hand at acting.

This upcoming movie will be director Kang Je Gyu’s first attempt at a family movie, as he is known for other genres of film such as “Taegukgi,” “Shiri,” and “The Gingko Bed.”   

Super Junior’s Siwon Takes The “Ice Bucket Challenge”

With the “Ice Bucket Challenge” becoming the latest trend sweeping American CEOs, actors, musicians and athletes, it was only a matter of time before it reached the K-Pop world. 

Super Junior‘s Siwon took on the challenge today, nominating fellow group members Donghae and Eunhyuk, along with Sungil Park. Those three have less then 24 hours to reply.

If you haven’t heard the “Ice Bucket Challenge” before, participants film themselves pouring a bucket of ice water on their head. Once they’ve taken the plunge, they call out three friends to take on the challenge, or donate $100 to the ALS Foundation, and upload the video to a social media platform.

Is the New KARA Song, “Story,” about Former Members Nicole and Kang Jiyoung? KARA Says, “We’ll Leave It to People’s Imagination”

KARA, who has returned with a new album and a new member, has been receiving a lot of attention recently for their sixth mini album, “Day & Night.”

On August 18, the now four-member group KARA has held the showcase for their sixth mini album “Day & Night” wherein they sang their title track, “Mamma Mia” as well as their other song, “So Good.” During the press conference, the group got to introduce their new member, Huh Youngji, and talk more about their new album.

During the press conference, the media talked about “Story,” one of the six songs in the mini album, which has been receiving attention for its message of pain toward a person who has left.

Popgasa translated the lyrics of the song which include lines such as:

“Our memories, our pretty recollections, 

They get far away and I can’t breathe

It seems like tears will spread and erase it

So you’re the only one I can’t tell this story to”

“Our beautifully written story

We thought it would last forever on our page

When I was with you, I never had enough time

But now even when we’re together, it’s like we’re strangers”

It was known that the lyrics of the song “Story” was penned by KARA members Goo Hara, Han Seungyeon, and Park Gyuri. The ballad sings about the feelings of someone who has separated with a loved one. Some people speculated whether it’s the group’s message to the former KARA members Nicole and Kang Jiyoung who have left the team.

Han Seungyeon said, “We made the song such that each of the three members’ stories were moved, edited, and combined in the lyrics. We’ll leave it to the imagination of the people who listen to it to think what the song is about.”

The now four-member group KARA has recently made their comeback with the song, “Mamma Mia” off their sixth mini album, “Day & Night.” After former members Nicole and Kang Jiyoung left the group to pursue their own careers, the group is now composed of former members Park Gyuri, Goo Hara, and Han Seungyeon and new member Huh Youngji.

RAMBLING of The Night: déjà vu

Just like what I said in my previous entry, I would like to discuss about Kris (EXO) and Hangeng (Super Junior) lawsuit. For readers who didn’t have any idea who’s this guys are, let me tell you a little bit about them.

HANGENG or HANKYUNG was one of the members Super Junior. He was the first non Korean idol that debut in KPOP industry. In Dec 2001 SM entertainment holds “H.O.T China” audition. The competing rate was really high 1 out of 3000 will be lucky to pass the audition. In Feb 2006 Hangeng debut as one of member Super Junior.

KRIS or WU YIFAN or KEVIN WUdebuted on April 2012 as a member of EXO and also a leader for subgroup EXO-M which is mainly active in China and singing in Mandarin.

There a few of similarities about these 2 guys which are:

• Both of them debuted as a Chinese member of k-pop idol and achieved broad stardom.

• Launch legal battle at their peak of popularity. Hangeng when Super Junior hit jackpot with Sorry Sorry and Kris when right before EXO first solo concert.

• Both of them now seek an activity in china.

For SM Entertainment, as we know they already bad reputation in ‘slave contract’ issue and with Kris breaking away from SM and EXO it give a déjà vu feeling. Where in 2009 Hangeng filed a lawsuit against SM. The difference here is the reaction that these to get. Hangeng get positive and supportive response from the public while Kris gets negative and hatred responsed. When Hangeng was lebeled as “victim”, Kris had been labeled as “traitor”. Why this thing happened? 

First of all, let's see on Hangeng lawsuit case and situation. According to his lawyer, Hangeng was cheated on his profit and had very long contract which is 13 years. It also had been reported that Hangeng developed gastritis and kidney disease because he had been overworked. Plus, during Hangeng’s time, due to visa restriction and other matters, Hangeng can’t perform on broadcast channels in Korea. Hangeng need to wear mask while performed due to this matter. I think Hangeng’s lawyer really did a good job in making public understand Hangeng’s situation. 

In Kris’s case, as we know SM put a lot of efforts in “creating” EXO. When EXO start to escalate in the Kpop hierarchy, Kris makes the decision to suing SM and departing from EXO. Lets see what Kris’s lawyer had said. According to Kris’s lawyer, Kris felt like a puppet, he can't make his own decision. SM schedule his performance without consulting Kris and never respecting Kris’s opinion nor condition. Kris also had a medical issue and even suspected having myocorditis due to stress. Don’t you think the case almost similar? But why Kris received so much hatred?

I think the main cause is the ‘timing’. The time Kris filed this lawsuit is a week before their first solo concert. The public thinks this is selfish decision and being a traitor to their group members and to add the “spice” the group member also label him like that. Beside that, in Hangeng’s case, he has been labeled as ‘victim’ due to harsher “slave contract” and as a first foreign idol, Hangeng had a hard time adjusting his life in Korea. Meanwhile, in Kris’s case people see that his path is much easier that hanging. The contract much fairer and also debuted with another 3 Chinese members. Due to this thing public pictured him as “ungrateful” and adding to their members ‘openly express’ their feeling make thing even worse. 

The conclusion that I can make, the contract that Kris signed with SM bad. Well, if not this lawsuit will not be justified right? Regarding on Kris continue his activities in China while his case still not finish and still fresh, I don’t see any problem in this matter. I don’t know why people bring this kind of issue. Is that mean he need to ‘rest’ while this ‘story’ still hot? I don’t think so. Even what happened now can be categorized as ‘bad publicity’, for me publicity is still publicity. Use every opportunity that we have. I think it’s a good thing that he start active in his work again. After all Kris was the first person that I noticed in EXO. I will always be your fans.

Jung Yong Hwa Becomes a 60-Year-Old Warrior in “The Three Musketeers”

Handsome idol and actor Jung Yong Hwa first greeted the “The Three Musketeers” viewers as a 60-year-old wizened, veteran warrior. 

The drama opened  its first episode titled “The First Encounter”  with Jung Yong Hwa introducing his character, Park Dal Hyang, in his senior years. The scene startedwith a “Dal Hyang’s Memoirs,” an old library book found in the Forbidden City in the year 1780. The narrator brought forth stories from the book that seemed to be written 100 years ago. Combat experience marked the 60-year-old Dal Hyang, with his wounds and salt-and-pepper beard. A sword next to him attracted curiosity.

The first episode then proceeded to show the events back in time, when Park Dal Hyang, as a young man, began his journey to Seoul and fatefully met with the other musketeers, Crown Prince So Hyun (Lee Jin Wook), Heo Seung Po (Yang Dong Geun) and An Min Seo (Jung Hae In). 

“The Three Musketeers” is a fusion romantic historical drama, adapted from the novel of the same name. Also starring Seo Hyun Jin and Yoo In Young, it is from the same team behind “Nine,” director Kim Byung Soo and writer Song Jae Jung. The drama is expected to run for three seasons with 12 episodes each, aired weekly on tvN.

G-Dragon Donates 81.8 Million Won to Lou Gehrig’s Disease Patients on His Birthday

BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon has given back to the society by donating 81.8 million KRW (approx. 81,800 USD) to patients with Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. The amount symbolizes G-Dragon’s birthday, which he celebrates today on August 18.

On August 18, fellow YG Entertainment artist Sean wrote on his Twitter, “Jiyong has performed a beautiful act on his birthday. He donated 81.8 million won to Seung Il Hope Foundation’s fund for long-term patients of Lou Gehrig’s disease. Jiyong, happy birthday and thank you~ Be happy today as well.”

Together with the message, Sean shared a photo taken together with the idol at the hospital. The two stars are smiling brightly as they show their support for Park Seung Il, a professional basketball coach that has been fighting the illness for a long time. In the past, G-Dragon has requested his fans to donate for a good cause instead of buying him expensive gifts, and seeing the star take initiative himself has left an impression on the fans. 

Earlier today, G-Dragon’s fanclub delivered a generous donation of 24 million won to a charity.

Park Min Woo on His Image on “Roommate”: “I Want to Show the Real Me”

Actor Park Min Woo has opened up about appearing on SBS’ reality show “Roommate” and revealing a more intimate side of himself to the viewers.

During a recent interview, the star talked about his decision to join the show, “When I first heard that ‘Roommate’ is a reality show that shows people’s real personalities while living in a shared house, I was touched by the concept. Showing your real side without having a script felt strange at first, but I wanted to try it out, so I decided to join the cast.”

“When I first came to Seoul, I lived together with two to three people, which made me consider others’ opinions a lot. I started to think that living alone is much more comfortable, so since then, I have been living alone. It has been six to seven years [since I moved out]. Living with so many people [on 'Roommate'] is a first for me,” he continued, sharing that living with a house full of roommates is a new experience for him.

When asked if any particular female member has caught his eye, Park Min Woo explained, “The cast of ‘Roommate’ is a family. It is difficult to see family members as potential girlfriends. Rather than considering someone close to my ideal type, everyone is like family to me.”

Regarding his image and taking care of it, the star said, “I have always thought that showing the real me instead of acting is important, even though it can be uncomfortable to watch. Instead of taking care of my image, I wanted to show a side of myself that my fans will enjoy, and that will help me grow as a actor.”
