'One Night of TV Entertainment' looked into the Big 3's stock wealth!

The December 4 broadcast revealed that currently, the wealthiest stockholder in entertainment is SM Entertainment's Lee Soo Man. SM Entertainment became the first entertainment label to be listed on the KOSDAQ. SM Entertainment's success this year was largely because of EXO's new success, as well as the continued success of groups such as SHINee, f(x), Girls' Generation, Super Junior, and TVXQ.

YG Entertainment's Yang Hyun Suk fell to 2nd place because Psy was not as active this year with "Gentleman" as he was last year with "Gangnam Style". 

As for the 3rd place JYP Entertainment's J.Y. Park, one of the reasons why his wealth increased was because Suzy's activity in the entertainment world boosted sales up 30%.

New Drama “Three Days” Starring Park Yoochun, Park Ha Sun, and Son Hyun Joo Delayed

SBS’ new Wednesday – Thursday drama “Three Days” has been postponed.

According to multiple broadcast officials on December 4, “Three Days,” which was originally scheduled to premiere in February 2014, has been delayed for an indefinite time period.

The reason for the delay has not been disclosed. However, an affiliate of the drama hinted, “’Three Days’ was scheduled to begin filming at the beginning of December. However, SBS revealed that it would be difficult to broadcast the drama in February 2014.”

The drama completed its casting from early on brining together Park Yoochun, Park Ha Sun, Son Hyun Joo, Yoon Jae Moon, So Yi Hyun, Jang Hyun Sung, and Kwon Min. In regards to the drama’s delay, another affiliate of the drama remarked, “From my knowledge, the actors are meeting with each other to practice,” but “The broadcasting company is telling us to just wait. We cannot draw to any conclusions right now, but we are frustrated,” with a sigh.

“Three Days” portrays the story of the President disappearing while vacationing at his vacation home. His bodyguards must go through various obstacles to protect him and escort him back to the Blue House.

B1A4′s Sandeul Reveals that He Auditioned for “Reply 1994″ But Didn’t Make It

B1A4‘s Sandeul revealed that he had auditioned for the hit tvN series, “Reply 1994.”

On December 4, Sandeul, along with Choi Min Soo, SISTAR‘s Hyorin and Slipper, were guests on MBC’s “Radio Star.” Within the group of guests, Choi Min Soo and Hyorin were considered the ones with a strong personality whereas Sandeul and Slipper were the ones with low public recognition.

Since Sandeul normally speaks with a slight accent, the MCs asked about his hometown. Sandeul answered that he is from Dadaepo, Busan.

The MCs then proceeded to mention B1A4 member Baro, who is currently in “Reply 1994″ and then asked Sandeul if he auditioned as well. Sandeul replied, “I did audition but all of the Kyungsang-do dialect characters were already picked.”

Sandeul added, “But I’m also good at the Choongchung-do dialect,” and proceeded to speak with the accent.

He finally said, “However, they didn’t offer me the Choongchung-do role,” which currently belongs to Baro!

Shin Dong Yup Being Considered as Next MC for “Beatles Code”

Mnet’s music talk show “Beatles Code” is in the need of a new MC after their previous MC, Tak Jae Hoon, was indicted on charges of illegal gambling. With a lot of potential MC candidates also under investigation on illegal gambling charges, it appeared that Mnet might struggle to find someone suitable. However, it appears that those concerns might be unfounded with latest news reports claiming that Mnet is actively looking towards casting one of the most ideal MCs for the position, Shin Dong Yup.

According to a statement given to news media outlet “Star News” by an Mnet official, Shin Dong Yup is currently being considered to replace Tak Jae Hoon for the third season of Mnet’s popular music talk show, “Beatles Code.”

The official states that “We have offered the MC role to Shin Dong Yup, and we are discussing this positively.” 

However, Tak Jae Hoon wasn’t the only MC in the show; he was partnered up with Super Junior‘s Shindong along with resident members Yoo Sang Moo and Jang Dong Min. In regards to these members, the official states that “Since the MC positions have not yet been changed, there is a chance that there could be changes to this as well.”

Mnet’s “Beatles Code Season 2″ started to make a name for itself after its initial MC, Kim Tae Won, was replaced by Tak Jae Hoon. The show than began to take on a concept that was akin to what viewers may see on MBC’s “Radio Star,” that is, a talk show based upon music known for being rather brutal towards its guests. Tak Jae Hoon’s quick wit and partnership with Shindong gave the show a lot of character, with the MCs working together to draw the most out of their guests.

It will be interesting to see how Shin Dong Yup does on the show if he does end up manning the show. He has a lot of similarities with Tak Jae Hoon, and his wit has proven to be one of the highlights of KBS’s “Immortal Song 2.” He is definitely an MC of some renown who has recently been on the up rise again in recent years thanks to performances on shows such as tvN’s “SNL Live” and jTBC’s “Witch Hunt.”

In either case, Mnet’s “Beatles Code Season 3″ is expected to start airing sometime in mid-December once the MC positions have been positively confirmed.

Lee Jong Suk Reviewing Genius Surgeon Role for Upcoming Medical Drama

Lee Jong Suk is reported to be favorably looking through his next project: a medical drama.

According to broadcast insiders on December 5, Lee Jong Suk is planning to join the cast for a new SBS drama “Doctor Foreigner” (working title), which is to air next year.

Lee Jong Suk will be playing the role of Park Hoon, who gets kidnapped to North Korea with his father, who is also a doctor, and grows up to become a doctor himself. If Lee Jong Suk confirms his casting, this will be his first medical drama.

Lee Jong Suk’s agency commented, “It is true that we received the offer and are looking through the script but a decision has not been made yet.”

Park Hoon is a thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon, who escapes to South Korea after being kidnapped to the North. Although he is a genius doctor and works for one of the best hospitals in South Korea, he is not able to be listed as an official doctor because he is a “foreigner.”

“Doctor Foreigner” will be directed by Jin Hyuk, who has worked on “On Air,” “Shining Inheritance,” “The Chaser” and “Master’s Sun” in the past.

Since Lee Jong Suk seems to be climbing higher and higher in popularity, many are interested in his next steps.

“Doctor Foreigner” is planning to air in March of next year.
