Lyn talks about marriage, her successful OSTs, and Kim Soo Hyun

On March 13, talented singer Lyn guested on SBS radio program 'Cultwo Show' and talked about marriage and her hit OSTs.

Probably aware that she was dating MC the Max's Lee Soo, the DJs asked, "When are you going to get married? Do you have plans?" Lyn responded first with a laugh and then, "First, we need to buy a house."

The DJs said, "They say a man needs to buy the house if he's getting married. Do you feel the same?" Lyn replied, "I don't think the man needs to buy the house. I want to buy it together."

Also on the show, she talked about her singing career. Lyn said, "Near the end of March and even afterwards, I'm going to China. I'm preparing to make Chinese versions of some of my more popular songs. I'm learning the language, too."

The DJs said supportively, "We think you're going to be a huge success." She responded, "I hope so. I want to buy a house."

In relation to 'You Who Came from The Stars', for which she sang the hit OST "My Destiny", Lyn said she never got to see any of the actors. She also stated, "I have two OSTs that became famous.  They were for 'The Moon That Embraces The Sun' and 'You Who Came From The Stars'. Both were dramas with Kim Soo Hyun," surprising everybody with the coincidence.

In relation to the popularity of "My Destiny", Lyn said, "It doesn't seem like my song.  I do think though that Kim Soo Hyun and Jun Ji Hyun would have listened to my song, which is fascinating to me."

GIRL GROUP SEXY CONCEPT

I’m in the middle of watching Yu Heiyeol’s Sketchbook right now. Its showing G Dragon sings Fantastic right now. I’m not fans of GD after all. There a lot of thing that I want to write actually, but I didn’t know which one I should write first. Entry about woolim+sm merger still hanging. My Beautiful Stranger also not in progress.. I’m just pathetic..sob..sob.. (T.T)

I really salute to people that can write. For me to finished just first part of My Beautiful Stranger is really…really HARD! I took almost three hours just to finish the first part. And to be honest I don’t even know what I had written! My English really terrible..And don’t bother to tell me how bad my grammar since I already know that. Even after learning English for almost 20 years, my English still BAD.

Ok. Cut off all the nonsense! This entry I wanna talk about SEXY CONCEPT among kpop girl group. What do you think about this kind of concept? Good or bad? Personally I gonna say its BAD. As I said.. “PERSONALLY”... which mean my personal opinion. I did some research about this kind of topic, basically this kind of concept already start long time ago. Do you remember RaNia’s debut song Dr. Feel Good? It’s come out even before HYUNA’s Bubble Pop. Just because KPOP more and more intention, this thing being an issue. But what I gonna talk right now, even this concept already been used long time ago, right now it’s become huge and can I say its not under control anymore? Concern about sexy concepts   in KPOP industries has reached a new high point, thanks to the release of Stellar’s Marrionatte MV, I think.

To be honest, I don't really into girl group in Kpop. The first girl group I knew was Wonder Girls, SNSD, and Miss A. I think I rarely listen to Kpop in 2010, never heard about Kpop I think. I did listen to Korean song since I like Korean drama but I’m not into “idol” since “idol” song usually not fit with my type (except for 2AM since they sing ballad’s song). Ok. Back to the topic, sexy concept, first I can enjoy their first sexy concept such as SECRET's "Poison", Girls Day's "Expectation", SISTAR's "Alone" and a few other girl groups that I can say it's sexy but I still can watch it. Till AOA slowly change their concept from "Elvis", "Get Out", "Moya", "Confused", till "Mini Skirt". Actually I don't really like how they shoot butts and boobs. Rainbow BLAXX added the list of girl group sexy MV I dislike. Their provocative move and pose, also they way they took the video is just.. eww. The last group which has this very sexy concept also Stellar and I do not like it at all.

Ok..If it comes to Brown Eyed Girls…actually I don't know what to say. I don't really listen or look to them, but what I heard, they sexy. The last MV from Gain "Fxxk U" is just…AWKWARD (???).

After all the controversies due to strong sexual concepts for the many girl groups that returned in January and February, KCSC (Korean Communications Standards Commission) finally took some action. It has been reported that the KCSC recently summoned the staff members of SBS' "Inkigayo," KBS' "Music Bank" and MBC's "Show! Music Core" for a meeting. The KCSC gave their stance on the issue of showing excess skin on broadcast and discussed future plans on how each of the music programs will address this matter. The music programs have been inspecting each group, sometimes asking groups to change their outfits or choreography or even banning some groups from broadcast in the past. The KCSC has strongly emphasized that the girl groups' level of exposure is too much and that tighter regulations and restrictions need to be made. Some have been saying that it is too late as many of those previously mentioned girl groups are wrapping up their promotions. However, it might be a stepping stone to prevent controversies from arising in the future.

Now let’s discuss about why they go with sexy concept. One of the big disadvantages girl groups have compared to male is that they find it more difficult to build up large and supportive fanbases. Female fans of boy groups tend to be more loyal than fans of girl groups. As a result they usually try to work harder to get mainstream popularity by getting high rankings in the digital singles charts. The problem with this is that while being high in the charts might mean more people are listening to your music, it doesn’t necessarily mean more cash. It also doesn’t give groups guarantees for future sales as there aren’t as many loyal fans that they can rely on to buy albums and merchandise. This creates an atmosphere of fierce competition between girl groups who are all seeking the same attention from the general public and leads companies and groups to do anything they can to catch their eyes. And it’s WORK!

Since I’m not very fond with girl group, I don’t think I can say many things about it. But what I really care is this kind of concept just will tarnish kpop industries and will give ‘cheap’ vibes. I still think that they should more focus on their music. It’s ok to use sexy concept but make sure the quality of the music all so good.  The good quality of music last longer than sexy concept that they use now since most of them just sexy but song..omg…I cant even listen it. That the main reason why I don’t like girl group. As a woman, I feel ashamed to watch that kind of performance. hemm.. Oklah.. That all for this entry. Ohya, sorry no picture for this entry. I 'cant' put any of them. Since I feel ASHAMED about it!

INFINITE dish on Sunggyu's most common phrases + Hoya reveals reason for crying

On a new episode of 'This Is Infinite' on March 13, the INFINITE members had to figure out how well they knew one another.

Sunggyu asked the others, "What do I say often these days?"  The answer was, "That's contrived," but the other members threw out, "Snap out of it," "Hey you," "Let's get a drink" (which Sunggyu acknowledged was true, too), and, "Come to Cheongdam."

Finally, Sunggyu gave them a clue, saying it was something that he did not normally say a lot, but he started saying as they filmed 'This Is Infinite.'  Finally, Hoya got the answer, but it begs the question: were the members' guesses things that Sunggyu normally did say a lot?

For Hoya's turn, he asked the other members the reason behind the last time he cried. The simple answer was that he was watching a movie.  Woohyun claimed to know the answer and shouted, "Because you didn't get to go on 'Reply 1994.'"  Hoya denied this, but Woohyun kept up with, "You cried a lot watching 'Reply 1994'; you were saying, 'I should have come out in that!'"

Hoya claimed he didn't even watch it, but the others did not believe him.  Make sure you watch the episode for more fun!
