BESTie's Haeryung to steal INFINITE's L's heart in drama 'My Lovely Girl'

BESTie's Haeryung will be joining the already star-studded line up for upcoming SBS drama, 'My Lovely Girl'!

She is currently acting in KBS 2TV's 'High School: Love On', but will be taking on yet another project!  In 'My Lovely Girl,' she will be playing Ra Eum, a sexy icon that steals the hearts of idols as a top singer renowned for her alluring beauty and outstanding vocal talents.  

Within the drama, she is the object of INFINITE's L's affection, who plays Si Woo, a top idol member under the agency AnA. However, she disregards all his attempts at courting her. 

Krystal's character Se Na happens to witness Ra Eum's rejection of Si Woo, and she and Si Woo (L) start to develop a bond.

Regarding her role and casting, Haeryung said, "Ra Eum's image is so strong that it probably won't be easy for me to capture, but I will show the charms of this devilish character in a sexy and provocative way."

The drama will start airing on September 17!

JYJ Official announce additional dates for their Asia tour + upcoming release of '3hree Voices III' DVD

JYJ has announced additional dates and locations for their 2014 Asia tour as well as the release date for the part three of their DVD series '3hree Voices'!

C-JeS Entertainment announced on the 14th, "JYJ, who successfully started their Asia tour at Jamsil Stadium last week, will hold their Asia tour in a total of 8 cities in Hong Kong on the 16th followed by Beijing, Vietnam, Chengdu, Taiwan, Shanghai, and Thailand." 

They also posted more good news for fans on their homepage revealing that the third part of the group's DVD series '3hree Voices III' will be released for sale soon. It will come with 2 DVDs and one poster, and the pre-orders will begin on the 18th followed by the release on the 25th.

San E and Bumkey To Have a Concert in Los Angeles this Month

Brand New Music‘s solo hip-hop artists Bumkey and San E will have a concert in Los Angeles next weekend on August 23.

Bumkey, who made his solo debut in 2010, is also a member of hip-hop group TROY. He spent his teen years in Los Angeles, where he was exposed to hip-hop music, and then moved to Korea to follow his dream of becoming an entertainer. 

San E debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2010, but moved to Brand New Music in 2013. Born in Korea, he had also immigrated to the US and lived in Atlanta. He topped charts earlier this summer with the duet track “A Midsummer Night’s Sweetness” featuring After School‘s Raina.

Lee Min Ho is the New Face for Guess

Actor Lee Min Ho has become the new face for the trendy clothes brand, Guess.

Guess is known for working with world famous female celebrities and naming them the “Guess Girl.” They have worked with famous celebrities like, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, and Drew Barrymore. Back in 2009, Guess worked with male actor, Jung Woo Sung, and in order to actively promote their brand among the male and female customers, they decided to use a male model as the face of the brand.

Through this promotion, Guess is planning on promoting their new destroyed jeans that was revealed this season and will reveal hot items for the fall and winter season. Along with the release of the upcoming items, Guess and Lee Min Ho created a message that said, “If you dream of having a romantic relationship with a hot male, you have to become a sexy Guess Girl.”

An official of Guess Korea said, “In the case of Lee Min Ho, you can say that he’s a befitting celebrity for Guess because he has a large fan base internationally. Through this promotion, Lee Min Ho has transformed into a Guess Guy and many will be able to see his different charms.”

When this upcoming promotion beginning in September, many will be able to see images of Lee Min Ho all over Guess stores in Korea. He will also be appearing in various fashion magazines and promotion blogs.

Rainbow’s Jisook Adorably Fits in a Shopping Bag

Jisook of girl group Rainbow attended the “2014 Seoul Kidult Fair.”

On August 13, Jisook wrote a blog post titled “2014 Seoul Kidult Fair” with the message “The Kidult Fair that I have been waiting and waiting for opened. I really wanted to go, so I set an alarm in my schedule and continued waiting.”

Jisook uploaded pictures and videos of herself browsing around through the whole event hall. Jisook took out the items she had purchased at the fair and showed pictures of herself getting in the large shopping bag, drawing laughter from anyone who came across the picture.

Meanwhile, Jisook uses her personal blog to reveal her daily life and various sides of herself as her way of communicating with her fans.

Girl’s Day’s Minah Cast for Lead Role in New Sitcom “Dating Big Bang”

Girl group Girl’s Day member Minah has landed her first lead role in a sitcom.

On August 14, sources in the industry revealed that the idol has been cast for iMBC and Lee Kim Production‘s upcoming sitcom titled “Dating Big Bang (working title)”. 

Minah will be playing a pretty and sweet personal trainer, who finds herself falling for the wrong guys. In addition to the naive young lady, the story will follow the life of three other sporty women who are all deceived by the same man.

In the past, Minah has put her acting skills to test in the drama “Vampire Idol” and the film “Holly.”

The sitcom will go into filming stages next month, and the producers are currently casting other girl group members for the remaining roles.
