INFINITE H reveal their ideal “Special Girl”

INFINITE H recently posed for ‘@star1‘s February issue and revealed their ideal “Special Girl“.
 
Dongwoo shared, “I think my ideal type constantly changes. My latest ideal type is someone who looks good in all kinds of hairstyles. Someone who looks good when she has long natural hair, ties up her hair, and dyes her hair, and someone who [naturally] looks good in different clothing styles. I can adjust to her personality.”
 
Hoya shared, “Lately, I’ve been attracted to people who are fluent in a foreign language. Whether its English or another foreign language, I wouldn’t be aware that she can speak a foreign language, but when she suddenly starts speaking [in a foreign language], I find her attractive. I want to speak a foreign language well, but I can’t so I’m attracted to people who can speak a foreign language these days.”
 
INFINITE H are currently promoting “Special Girl” from their debut album ‘Fly High‘.

Kim Bum Looks Handsome as Ever in New Stills from “That Winter, The Wind Blows”

New stills of Kim Bum in SBS’s new Wednesday-Thursday drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows” were revealed to the public this morning.
 
On January 23, King Kong Entertainment shared photos of its actors on the set of the upcoming drama. In the photos, Kim Bum exudes charisma in a leather jacket and red-tinted hair.
In the upcoming series, Kim Bum will take on the role of Jin Sung, professional poker gambler, Oh Soo’s, (Jo In Sung) right hand man. He can be friendly one moment and cold-hearted the next, not to mention that he’s also quite short-tempered.
 
“That Winter, The Wind Blows” is Song Hye Kyo and Jo In Sung’s comeback piece to dramaland. Song Hye Kyo takes on the role of Oh Young, the sole heiress to a giant conglomerate. She lost both her parents and her eyesight, making her extremely self-protecting and lonely. Jo In Sung plays Oh Soo, a playboy and a gambler who sets his eyes on his next target, Oh Young.
“That Winter, The Wind Blows” will premiere on SBS on February 13, at 9:55PM KST.

2AM’s Seullong: “I Want to Get Married and Have Babies”

In the most recent issue of magazine “@star1,” 2AM discussed cautiously and honestly about idol’s romantic relationships in their interview. Since their debut, 2AM has not had a public romantic relationship other than Jo Kwon‘s appearance on MBC “We Got Married” with Brown Eyed GirlsGa In as a virtual couple. However, members of 2AM never even talked about their
girlfriends publicly, including Jo Kwon.
 
When asked about his last romantic relationship, Jinwoon commented, “It’s been so long that I don’t even remember much about it. Since I made my debut as 2AM, I haven’t had a chance to date anyone. I simply don’t have time for it in the middle of my busy life exercising and practicing guitar and all that. It’s not like I don’t want to date anyone, but for some reason, I only have really good female friends around me rather than a girlfriend.”
 
Seullong commented on his dear friend Sunye‘s marriage, “I don’t know about dating, but I definitely want to get married early. I’m kind of jealous of Sunye. Especially since I like babies, I want to get married as soon as possible and have babies.”

MBLAQ gets ready to greet Japanese fans through ‘THE BLAQ FUN-CH’ fan meeting


MBLAQ is getting ready to meet with their Japanese fans at ‘THE BLAQ FUN-CH‘ two-part fan meeting event in Tokyo on February 8th, and ahead of the event, they briefly shared their feelings about the upcoming meeting.
 
Through the fan meeting, MBLAQ will be unveiling a new single that will drop later this year for the first time, further increasing fans’ anticipation.
 
The members shared their thoughts, commenting, “The opportunities to communicate with our Japanese fans will continue to increase. We hope that we can keep moving forward holding hands with our fans without change.”
 
In other news, G.O. and Seungho have been participating in the ‘Gwanghwamun Sonata’ musical that has been playing in Tokyo.

The two actors are already known to be very close friends as they star in variety show ‘1 Night 2 Days‘, making this scene even more humorous as Joo Won secretly snapped photos of Um Tae Woong by hiding behind benches, cars, and hiding out on the streets.

Um Tae Woong plays the role of Choi Woo Hyuk, an industrial genius spy whose real name and face aren’t clearly known. He will be avenging his family as Joo Won’s enemy as the main antagonist. The pair have also filmed many previous works together, such as the movie ‘Special Investigation Division‘.

Joo Won said, “When I monitor Tae Woong hyung through the screen while he’s filming, he exudes masculinity. I’m trying to learn charisma from him through this drama. He’s someone I want to learn from both as a human and as an actor.

f(x)’s Sulli Gets Mad at Kwanghee on “Running Man”

Girl group f(x)’s Sulli got angry at ZE:A’s Kwang Hee for being week on the SBS variety show “Running Man” that was televised on January 20.
 
The concept for that day’s show was “2013 Running Winter Olympic” that was played out among the Running Man members against various idol singers.
 
On that day, Kwang Hee seemed very awkward in sledding which garnered attention among the participants.
 
While on the move towards another sports arena, Kwang Hee asked Sulli, “How did you feel when I didn’t do so well?,” she laughingly answered, “I got annoyed” and other idols laughed as well.
 
Following Sulli’s answer, Kwanghee said, “Now, I’m going to do my best. I didn’t do well because of my image. People get surprised at my strength.”
 
Fellow participants in the idol section included CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa, Lee Jong Hyun, Shinee’s Minho, L from Infinite, and Lee Joon from MBLAQ.

A set of photos were recently uploaded onto his official Facebook page along with the caption, “Flower? Beggar…“. In the photos, he sported messy hair, had dirt all over his face, and even wore worn-out clothing and had on gloves full of holes. He was holding a money can in one photo and pouting in the others, but also showed off bright smiles in other pictures.

He was parodying the popular ‘Gag Concert‘ segment, ‘Beggar’s Class‘, in which comedian Heo Kyung Hwan portrays a good looking beggar and is dubbed the ‘flower beggar’.

With the recent outbreak of dating scandals that started off the new year, netizens have matched up celebrities according to their ideal types to predict the next potential celebrity couple.
 
In a recent interview, Yoo Seung Ho revealed, “[My ideal type] is a woman whose height is around 163 cm (~5’3″ ft), has a short hairstyle, and looks good in a plain white t-shirt and jeans.” KARA‘s Nicole, who seems to fit Yoo Seung Ho’s qualifications with a height of 165 cm (~5’4″ ft), previously revealed her ideal type on SBS‘ ‘Strong Heart‘ and stated, “Although I don’t have any dating experience, I have a person who I like. Jeon Hyun Moo, Lee Hwi Jae, Yoseob, and Jo Kwon to MC for ’2013 Idol Star Athletics’


Jeon Hyun Moo, Lee Hwi Jae, B2ST‘s Yoseob, and 2AM‘s Jo Kwon have been chosen to be the MCs for the upcoming ‘2013 Idol Star Athletics‘.
 
The ’2013 Idol Star Athletics’ is scheduled to air on February 11th with top celebrities competing against each other in track and field and archery. Some of the stars appearing include SHINee, INFINITE, 2AM, MBLAQ, ZE:A, TEEN TOP, CNBLUE, F.T. Island, KARA, T-ara, SISTAR, 4minute, miss A, SECRET, A Pink, and After School. Along with them, rookie idols and top models will also be competing, creating a total of 150 contestants in all.
 
The events that will take place at the ’2013 Idol Star Athletics’ are the 70m dash, hurdles, high jump, power walking, 400m relay, archery, and for the first time, a 400m co-ed relay.
 
On another note, the ’2013 Idol Star Athletics’ will be filmed on January 28th at 1PM at the Goyang Indoor Gym in Gyeonggi-do.

Kyuhyun chooses Seohyun as the member that’s closest to his ideal type in Girls’ Generation


Kyuhyun explained why Seohyun was the closest to his ideal type out of the Girls’ Generation members on ‘Radio Star‘.
 
On the show, the MCs asked the ladies of Girls’ Generation how long has it been since they debuted and the ladies answered about 5 or 6 years. The MC’s then asked, “Since it’s been about 5-6 years since Girls’ Generation debuted. By now, don’t you know how to date without getting caught?
 
Hyoyeon then quickly quipped, “We want to learn how from Kyuhyun oppa“. This caused Kyuhyun to get embarrassed and say, “Up until now, I have never dated.” The MC’s then asked the girls, “Since all the girls have gathered here, which member dated Kyuhyun?“. Jessica immediately pointed to Seohyun, and Hyoyeon said, “Did Kyuhyun make up the rumors?“.
 
The girls teased Kyuhyun saying, “You like Seohyun, don’t you?” MC Yoon Jong Shin also shared the story, “One time I got Kyuhyun drunk and asked him who his ideal type was and he slurred ‘Ah Seohyun…’“. Kyuhyun got more embarrassed and blurted, “Don’t say such baseless things!
 
The other members also brought up the scandal of their skinship stating, “They even did skinship!” and “If it’s Kyuhyun, we can hand Seohyun over“. They were referring back to the skinship betwen Seohyun and Kyuhyun at SMTOWN in NYC at Madison Square Garden back in late 2011.
 
The ‘skinship’ happened on stage, and Seohyun explained, “Kyuhyun is just a close oppa“. Dongwoo and Hoya held an interview with the magazine @star1. During the interview they stated,
 
We were tormented physically and we couldn’t sleep. We were really pressured mentally as well.” Hoya said, “While we were preparing for the debut, we had to prepare for KBS 2TV‘s ‘Immortal Song‘. The filming for the music video took almost 4 days and we had to stay up the entire night.
 
Dongwoo also lost an incredible amount of weight because of his hectic schedule. He said, “I don’t know why I lost so much weight. My pants size changed. Right now, I lost so much weight that I quit training and I’m eating and resting a lot.

SISTAR and Shinhwa to Act as Married Couples

SISTAR became the first girl group to appear in JTBC’s “Shinhwa Broadcast!”
 
It’s been reported the ladies of SISTAR recently participated in the recording of “Shinhwa Broadcast,” where they showed great chemistry with the members of Shinhwa.
 
During the episode, the girls will make their appearance in the “I Love You More Studio” corner, where both Shinhwa and SISTAR will pair up as make-believe married couples and compete against each other in cooking. Because Shinhwa has six members, while SISTAR only has four, two unlucky
Shinhwa members will form a male-male couple.
 
According to a representative of the production team, “The members of Shinhwa could not hide their excitement when they saw SISTAR. The members were engaged in a heated competition in order to couple up with SISTAR.”

Ji Suk Jin Humiliates Kwang Hee and Says “You’re The First Idol To Lose To Me”

On the most recent episode of “Running Man” that aired on January 20, Kwang Hee was greatly humiliated.
 
During the episode, Kwang Hee went against Ji Suk Jin for a sled race. Ji Suk Jin is usually considered the weakest character on “Running Man” but Kwang Hee had lost to him for this race.
 
Many idols were guest stars on this episode of “Running Man” including CN Blue‘s Jung Yong Hwa and Lee Jong Hyun, MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon, ZE:A‘s Kwang Hee, SHINee‘s Minho, f(x)‘s Sulli and Infinite’s L.
 
The episode was a “2013 Running Olympic” special and the first game was sled racing. Kwang Hee went up against Ji Suk Jin, who is exactly 20 years older.
 
However, Kwang Hee struggled as soon as the race started and showed how out of shape he was from the start. On the other than, Ji Suk Jin yelled, “I went sledding a lot when I was a kid,” and surprisingly did well.
 
When Ji Suk Jin started to put some distance between them, the idol team disapprovingly yelled out, “You suck!” and the “Running Man” team kept cheering on for Ji Suk Jin.
 
Ji Suk Jin, who always normally loses in everything, eventually won. He told Kwang Hee, “How could you lose to me? You’re the first idol who lost to me!”
 
After the race, Kwang Hee asked Sulli, “What did you think when I lost earlier?” Then Sulli got mad and said, “It was so annoying,” which made everyone laugh.

CNBLUE’s Yonghwa reveals TVXQ’s Yunho asked him for a song


CNBLUE‘s Yonghwa revealed that TVXQ‘s Yunho asked him for a self-composed song.
 
For the first time since CNBLUE’s debut, a song written and composed by Yonghwa has been used as their title track. His agency FNC Entertainment acknowledged his talent by making “I’m Sorry” the title track for their album ‘Re:Blue‘, and his song is proving its worth by ranking in the top five on various online music charts.
 
Yonghwa has even created songs for his juniors Juniel and AOA, and after concluding his promotions last year, he focused his attention on songwriting. Yonghwa confessed, “I felt the pain of composing for the first time.
 
Now that he has become an acknowledged songwriter, many artists are coming up to him and asking if they can have one of his songs. Even seniors have come up to him to ask for a song, and Yonghwa shared about that instance, explaining, “At an award ceremony last year, I met TVXQ’s Yunho, and he asked me, ‘Can you write a song that will be included in our 10-year anniversary album?’ ZE:A‘s Kwanghee has also made a similar request.
 
The number of people asking Yonghwa for songs has increased, and he appreciates the attention, but he is hesitant to give his songs to an artist other than CNBLUE. He explained, “I felt really good when I heard that I have been receiving many requests to write songs, but I don’t feel comfortable about participating in other artists’ albums yet.
 
He also shared his ambition on writing different genres, stating, “When I wrote songs for my juniors, it was fun making songs from different genres like dance and ballad. I want to create a variety of songs.

J.Y. Park loses his appeal on plagiarism case, fined $54,000 USD

 
J.Y. Park has lost his appeal against composer Kim Shin Il.
 
Last year, J.Y. Park had lost the initial case claiming that he had plagiarized the ‘Dream High‘ OST “Someday” from Kim Shin Il‘s “To My Man“. After losing the case, he then appealed the ruling and their court date had been rescheduled to January.
 
On January 23rd at 2:10 PM KST, the appeal case was held. In the original ruling from the lower court, J.Y. Park was stated to pay the composer 21,672,752 KRW (approximately $19,000 USD) in damages. However, he lost his appeal and was ruled to instead pay 56,930,710 KRW (approximately $54,000 USD). The higher amount stems from the profits of “Someday” up until the 23rd.
 
J.Y. Park plans to appeal the ruling once again to the Supreme Court.

On the January 22nd broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘1 vs 100‘, Moon Hee Jun revealed he could sense when love is in the air on his program, ‘Immortal Song 2‘. He also revealed Huh Gak‘s feelings for one of the contestants.
