On the February 12th broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s
‘Moonlight Prince‘, MC Brave
Brothers (Kang Dong Chul) revealed his dedication to Yang Hyun
Suk during his days as a producer for YG
Entertainment.
Brave Brothers shared, “I wanted to be of help to Yang Hyun Suk. He’s the
one that took me in and gave me an opportunity. I didn’t care about the money,
all I really wanted was to make good music and see Yang Hyun Suk happy. At the
time, they were preparing for Big Bang‘s debut, and if they were to do well
Yang Hyun Suk would be happy and the same goes for me so I thought we would all
be happy. For Yang Hyun Suk, I didn’t even go home most nights, quit drinking
and kept working non-stop for close to three years straight. I was happy to
sacrifice myself as well. As Big Bang rose to the top, I enjoyed the thought
that I was contributing to their success.”

together.”
Brave Brothers was a top producer at YG Entertainment from 2004 to 2008, he
left the company in 2008 to produce his own label, Brave
Entertainment. He has since created many hit songs for numerous K-pop
artists.
