On April 9, SHINee’s agency officially announced that Jong Hyun had been
operated on successfully after his nose was broken in a recent car accident.
When the swelling of the nose goes down, he will be discharged from the hospital
and receive outpatient treatment. An agency official said “He is recovering well
from the operation. He will take a rest until he has completely recovered.”
On April 1, Jong Hyun smashed into a guardrail while crossing the Dongho
Bridge in Seoul to go back to the group’s lodgings from his house.
In February, SHINee started activities with their third studio album,
Draem Girl – Misconceptions Of You and ranked at the top of several
music charts with the title song, “Dream Girl.”
