SISTAR‘s Bora gave up on racing in the finals of the
‘Idol Star Athletics Championship‘.
During the preliminaries of the women’s 70 meter race, Bora placed first but
stumbled at the end of the race, injuring her right knee. She was treated for the injury and
went on to qualify for the finals. However, she decided not to race in the
finals to protect her knee. In her absence, Tahiti‘s
Jisoo went on to snag the gold medal for the event.
Not only so, but she had also announced that she would no longer be
participating in the track and field events of the ‘Idol Star Athletics
Championship’. In response, the staff gave her a plaque of appreciation for all
of her contributions to the program over the years.
