Kara’s Goo Hara will be undergoing surgery to treat a sudden case of
appendicitis. DSP Media confirmed initial reports on January 31 saying, “Goo

appendicitis, and the decision was made for her to undergo an appendectomy
today.”
Her agency stressed that fans shouldn’t concern themselves too much over her
condition and said Goo Hara would be focusing on regaining her health for the
time being. It added she was expected to stay in the hospital for three to five
days following her surgery.
Kara will also go about its regular schedule without Goo Hara temporarily as
she recovers from her condition.
