On March 10, Loen Entertainment, the agency that represents IU, reported that she will release a Japanese EP titled Can You Hear Me? on the 20th of March.
The regular edition of the new EP contains five
songs, including the lead track, “Beautiful Dancer,” but the initially a limited
edition containing one extra song will be issued.
“Beautiful Dancer” was composed by a legendary
American producer team, “Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis,” who have worked with
Janet Jackson during her rise to stardom. The song has a touching melody sung in
sweet tones by IU.
Emi Music Japan, IU’s Japanese agency, has
released a music video of “Beautiful Dancer” on its official YouTube channel. IU
has appeared in the KBS 2TV drama series “You Are The Best Lee Soon Shin” and is
working on her acting career in earnest.
