On March 8, DBSK‘s Changmin attended the
36th Annual Japanese Academy Awards Ceremony and took home the “Best Rookie
Actor” Award.
He made his Japanese large screen debut in the film “Fly With The
Gold” as an under cover North Korean spy named “Momo” taking the guise
of a foreign exchange student. According to sources, Changmin blew film
officials out of the water with his perfect Osaka accent. Receiving an award
from the Japanese Academy Awards committee is considered to be a prestigious
honor in the field of drama and film.
In other news, DBSK released their sixth Japanese studio album “Time” on
March 6 and within two days over 20,000 copies have been sold. On April 27, DBSK
will be kicking off their “TIME” dome tour starting in Saitama super arena and
then onward to Tokyo dome, Osaka Kyocera dome, Fukuoka Yahoo Japan dome, etc.
