2PM’s Taec Yeon and Taiwanese idol star Gui Gui decided to appear on We
Got Married-The Global Edition.
On February 1, an official for MBC said, “The two stars have decided to
appear on the show and we think KARA’s Nicole will join us soon too.”
The global version of the show will air a Korean star having an imaginary
marriage life with a foreign star. Their cultural differences will make the show
more enjoyable.
Gui Gui is a cute and bubbly actress, who is very popular in Taiwan and
China. She appeared on TV in 2005 and debuted as a member of the idol group Hey
Girl in 2006. She has become popular since 2007 when she appeared on the
Taiwanese TV series Brown Sugar Macchiato.
Then she appeared several TV commercials and TV series and showed off her
talent as an MC. She is fluent in three languages, English, Japanese, and
Chinese.
The global version of the show will air through forty-one broadcasters in
China, Taiwan, India, and Australia. However, it is not sure whether the show
will air in Korea or not.
