'New York Magazine' names G-Dragon and Taeyang as one of the best dressed people in 2014

Two of the most fashionable idols in K-pop, G-Dragon and Taeyang reigned in at #42 on 'New York Magazine's 'Street Style Awards: The 45 Best Dressed People of 2014'. 

Already famous for his flashy accessory choices and wild hairstyles, it was no surprise that G-Dragon caught the attention of New York Magazine. Taeyang, also recently upped his fashion game and even went with silver hair to stand out even more from the crowd.

The magazine wrote,

"The K-pop icons caused a frenzy with their crazy hair, gender-bending clothes, and face tattoos at the menswear and couture shows. Our inner fangirls scream, "Oppa saranghae!!!" (Translation: OMG, I LUV YOU.)"

INFINITE’s L Reveals “Silent Guy” Concept Was Imposed By Company

 

INFINITE‘s “visual,” member L, who is currently promoting as 1/3 of the subgroup INFINITE F together with Sungyeol and Sungjong, has recently made a revelation regarding his “quiet type” on-screen image.

At the December 23 airing of MBC FM4U‘s “Sunny’s FM Date,” INFINITE’s sub-unit INFINITE F–composed of L, Sungyeol, and Sungjeong–talked to DJ Sunny about the changes they underwent now that they’re promoting as a sub group.

“L started to talk more,” remarked Sungjong and Sungyeol when asked by DJ Sunny what is the biggest difference between performing as INFINITE and as INFINITE F.

“When we promote as INFINITE, L almost never speaks a word. The company decided that he should not speak as his (image) concept. But now, he speaks a lot,” continued the members.

The “quiet and mysterious pretty boy” L added, “I am known to be the member who doesn’t and couldn’t speak much but I’m not (like that.)” L further explained, “During that time, I found it unfair. This is the first time that I’ve talked about it here, but I really speak well.”

EXO and INFINITE to put on a special collaborative performance at 'KBS Music Festival'

Two of K-pop's biggest boy groups, EXO and INFINITE, will be putting on a special collaborative performance at the upcoming '2014 KBS Music Festival'!

According to a representative from the music festival, the two talented groups will be coming together for a special unique joint stage. It was also revealed that both groups selected each other as the group they would most like to collaborate with so that brings an interesting dynamic to the stage.

Both EXO and INFINITE are said to be taking the collaboration stage very seriously and have carefully planned out the performance and the selection of the song. A representative from KBS stated that the festival staff members have kept their participation at a minimum as they themselves are highly anticipating this stage. They will also provide an impressive array of stage props so the the performance is even more memorable.

You can check out EXO and INFINITE on stage at '2014 KBS Music Festival' on December 26. The festival is scheduled to air for 220 minutes starting at 8:30PM KST on KBS.
