Haru's violin teacher revealed to be Kyuhyun's older sister

In the recent filming for KBS 2TV's 'Superman Is Back,' Tablo's daughter Haru took one step forward as she attempted to learn the violin.  Previously, she had tried martial arts and ballet, but it appears she is not done in trying her hand in different hobbies.

For her violin lesson, Tablo invited one teacher, who proved to be very beautiful when she came to visit Haru.  Tablo told his daughter, "This teacher is good at violin and her younger sibling is good at singing," and it turned out that he was referring to Super Junior's Kyuhyun!

Kyuhyun's sister, Jo Ara, was a violinist who played the violin for over twenty years and even studied abroad in Vienna, Austria.  She even performed with Kyuhyun on KBS 2TV's 'Immortal Song' back in 2012.

As Haru asked her to perform "Let It Go," she complied with an amazing performance. However, due to Haru's overwhelming energy, she gradually started to go into mental breakdown mode so that after the lesson, Tablo said, "I feel like the teacher is drinking right now with her friends."

Go Eun Ah reveals her brother Mir's reaction to her filming a bed scene for movie 'Sketch'

Actress Go Eun Ah recently had an interview with Newsen for her new movie 'Sketch' for which she had to film a bed scene. The interviewer asked her how her family felt about this fact, so she revealed an interesting story about her younger brother MBLAQ Mir's reaction.

She said, "It's not like I'm doing anything wrong, so I thought it'd be better to ask them rather than film it secretively.  So I went to Cheol Yong (Mir) and said, 'I got a scenario for such and such.  I really want to do it, but there's body exposure and a bed scene. It's not just a simple love scene but a bed scene.  Cheol Yong said readily as if it was no big deal, 'Oh really? Then do it.'  That reaction made me even more surprised and shocked."

Taken aback, she said to Mir, "Your members will probably see me naked!  Your friends will probably see too, and say something about it, but is that okay?"  She thought at the time that no matter how nicely she put it, maybe he wasn't completely grasping the situation.  However, she said Mir just looked at her pitifully and said, "If you're going to think like that, why be an actress?" which really hit her.

She said, "I never expected Cheol Yong to say something like that.  That's why I was shocked, thankful, and proud.  He told me, 'Since you're going to shoot it, make people, whether they're men or women, say your body looks great.  Also, make men think that Go Eun Ah is the best and make them wish they were the man.'  Because of my younger brother's advice and consent, it strengthened my decision to be in this movie." 

'Sketch' will revolve around the meeting of a barista (Park Jae Jung), who holds pain in his heart, and an artist (Go Eun Ah), who has become awkward at social interaction after being hurt by the real world. The film will premiere on March 27.

Orange Caramel's 'Catallena' MV deemed unsuitable for broadcast by KBS

It has been revealed that Orange Caramel's "Catallena" MV has been deemed unsuitable for broadcast by KBS.

According to the results of KBS' review of music videos released in the third week of March (March 14-20) on the 22nd, Orange Caramel's "Catallena" MV did not pass their strict inspection.

KBS explained that the music video made light of human life especially in its scenes where Orange Caramel is seen sitting on top of rice pretending to be sushi or struggling under plastic wrap.

Pledis Entertainment rep responded to various media outlets, "The scene in which the members are wrapped in plastic vinyl in the music video became an issue... We plan to edit out the controversial scene for reconsideration. For MBC and SBS, the video has passed and has been approved for all ages."

Infinite and Yoo In Young to Make Guest Appearances on Kang Ho Dong’s New Show “Stargazing”

Actress Yoo In Young and idol group Infinite will be appearing as guests on Kang Ho Dong’s new variety show, “Stargazing.”

According to MBC on March 20, Yoo In Young will be joining previously confirmed guests Infinite in a recording for “Stargazing” at the end of the month.

“Stargazing” is an upcoming talk show hosted by Kang Ho Dong with a new format, which will showcase a different side of the stars we know through interactions with the fans. A representative of SM Entertainment revealed on March 21, “Singers Kangta and BoA have been appointed as non-registered directors. From now on, the two will be more directly involved in the company’s creative direction and wide range of content. They will use their global know-how in news ways for the company.”

Misunderstandings Abound for New “We Got Married” Couple Nam Goong Min and Hong Jin Young

Actor Nam Goong Min and trot singer Hong Jin Young might be in for a rough marriage! The newest additions to “We Got Married Season 4” started off on the wrong foot from their first meeting.

The couple was given the mission of searching for one another at a recent filming session. While Nam Goong Min looked excited about the mission, Hong Jin Young was taken aback at being handed the mission card to “Search for your fake husband.” And so began the long search for her husband in a pure white wedding dress and high heels. With much painstaking effort, Hong Jin Young finally found her husband after walking around for an hour.

They were finally able to get to know each other and their conversation was free-flowing right from the beginning. Through their conversation with one another, they discovered that they shared a common view about the opposite gender. Both said that they dislike members of the opposite gender who pretend to be something they are not.

A misunderstanding arose when Hong Jin Young tried some aegyo on her new husband, causing him to wonder, “Is she acting cute?” In return, Nam Goong Min’s gentle speech and manner caused another misunderstanding, with Hong Jin Young wondering, “Is he pretending to be attentive?”

Heechul Says He and “Wife” Puff Kuo Fought Because of Anna From “Frozen”

On March 20, Super Junior’s Kim Heechul attended the production presentation of MBC Everyone’s “We Got Married Global Edition Season 2” held at the Ilsan MBC Dream Center. He revealed an argument he had with his pretend wife, Puff Kuo.

Heechul has expressed his fondness towards Anna, a main character on the Disney animation, “Frozen,” thorough his SNS. He said, “I had an argument with Puff Kuo because of Anna. You’ll see why if you watch the show.”

The singer also displayed his affection towards his pretend wife saying, “When I first met Puff, I didn’t know what to do. I’m not usually kind to my girlfriend. But Puff was an exception. She is very polite. Even when we bicker at each other when it’s just the two of us, she is very polite when there are adults around us. She has a very nice personality.”

Heechul also added, “Many people asked me about the script. However, I don’t usually follow the script even when I host radio shows. I basically did whatever I wanted to do while filming for the show. You’ll be able to see the real Kim Hee Chul on the show.”

Arisa Yagi, Key’s Wife on “We Got Married” Talks About Meeting A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji

New couples, Kim Hee Chul and Puff Kuo, Key and Arisa Yagi attended the production presentation of MBC Everyone’s “We Got Married Global Edition Season 2” held at the Ilsan MBC Dream Center on March 20,

Arisa Yagi was asked if she saw Key meeting A Pink’s Jung Eun Ji on “We Got Married Season 4.” She answered, “I watched it after I was cast on the show but did not know Key was going to my husband.”

She explained, “At the time, I thought they made a cute couple and they looked good together. I had a chance to meet Jung Eun Ji in person. While we were filming together, I grew more fond of her.”

Simon D Became Co-CEO of AOMG Without Buying Any Shares in the Company

On the March 19 broadcast of MBC’s variety program, “Radio Star,” Simon D appeared as one of the guests.

On the show, the rapper talked about how he became partners with Park Jae Bum (Jay Park) and a co-CEO of the new hip-hop label, AOMG.

Simon D introduced himself as a hip-hop label CEO and explained he joined Park Jae Bum as a partner.

B1A4’s Baro Interviewed for “Infinity Challenge” Cheerleading Team

A representative of MBC’s variety program, “Infinity Challenge” revealed B1A4’s Baro interviewed to participate in the show’s cheerleading team; however, no decision has been made.

According to the rep on March 20, “Baro and many other celebrities interviewed to be part of the cheerleading team. However, the final members have not been confirmed.”

The rep also added, “The members of the cheerleading team will be chosen soon. We will announce the team members as soon as the decision is made.”

“Angel Eyes” Drops First Trailer feat. Gu Hye Sun, Lee Sang Yoon, Kang Ha Neul, and Nam Ji Hyun

This is the moment many fans are waiting for!

On March 20, SBS released the first trailer for drama “Angel Eyes” showing the younger and adult versions of main characters Yoon Su Wan and Park Dong Joo. Nam Ji Hyun and Kang Ha Neul play the younger roles while Gu Hye Sun and Lee Sang Yoon will take over the baton as the characters grow up.

“Angel Eyes” is about a man and a woman who are each other’s first loves, but get separated at childhood due to a painful family situation and meet again 12 years later. Gu Hye Sun’s character Yoon Su Wan is a passionate emergency medical technician who is known not only by the fire department, but also by the local hospital. She was blind, but was able to start a new life after receiving a corneal transplantation.

“Angel Eyes” is the followup drama after “Thrice Married Woman” and will premiere on April. “Boys Over Flowers” writer Yoon Ji Ryun will be working on the script and “Will It Snow On Christmas?” PD Choi Moon Shik will be directing.

SM Entertainment Reportedly Being Investigated for Tax Fraud, Agency Gives Official Statement

On March 20, a Korean new site reported that Korean entertainment powerhouse SM Entertainment was being investigated by the National Tax Service for fraud and tax evasion in the millions of USD. In response, SM Entertainment released an official statement denying any wrong doings or that it is being specially investigated. 

SM Entertainment said, “Reports that SM has been evading taxes on off shore accounts is unfounded. The company is being audited normally, as it should be following the 2009 audit.” The representative also asked people stop spreading the groundless rumors. 

On March 18, the Seoul Tax Bureau sent over 30 staff members to the SM headquarters to collect documents and books for their investigation. Other reports are noting that if it was a regular tax audit, the company would have been notified at least 10 days in advance, but for this investigation SM Entertainment was notified the day of.

MBLAQ Release Suave Individual Photos and Track List for “Broken” Comeback

Boy group MBLAQ released individual teaser photos and their track list for their upcoming mini album, “Broken” through their agency’s official Twitter account.

The individual photos show each member dressed in classy and vintage suits for a very suave look. Particularly, the group’s youngsters Mir and Thunder exude manly charisma. The images also have a ripped paper visual affect, to go with the mini album’s title, “Broken.”

The track list reveals that their main track, “Like a Man” was written by singer Wheesung. The song will be about the broken feelings a man feels after parting with the one that he loved. 

Wheesung said about the track, “MBLAQ is the only male group that I wanted to give a song to, so it was a pleasure to work with them on the album. I am thankful for MBLAQ for conveying the feelings that I wanted from this track.”

MBLAQ will release their mini album and the music video for “Like a Man” on March 24. The group will also have a comeback showcase the same day.

Suzy Makes Surprise Appearance at Yoo Jae Suk’s New Variety Show “I Am a Man”

Expectations are rising for KBS2′s latest variety program “I Am a Man“ as recent news about Suzy‘s sudden appearance on the first episode have emerged on the internet.

“I Am a Man” is described as a men’s program with manly entertainment for men, and even the slogan states, “Women, don’t watch.” Led by Nation’s MC Yoo Jae Suk, female guests will be invited to the show every week. Simon D shows jealousy in his phone conversation with Lady Jane on 'Radio Star'

Simon D appeared on MBC's 'Radio Star' on March 19 and talked about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Lady Jane, stating at one point that he felt a lot freer now because he could hang out without inhibitions.

CNBlue Members Fight Over Who Has the Nicest Butt and Kim Woo Bin

During a recent recording of MBC Everyone’s “Weekly Idol,” the members of CNBlue appeared as special guests.

The CNBlue members revealed, “One of our group members has a nice butt.” The owner of the nice butt was none other than Jung Yong Hwa, who is also know as “hip-up Yong.”

g.o.d’s Son Ho Young Returns to Television

One year after his suicide attempt, g.o.d’s Son Ho Young is making a return to television.

Son Ho Young has been cast as one of the 10 members in CJ E&M O’live’s new reality show, “Share House,”

A broadcast representative stated, “The show will be filmed at a pension in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province. The cast and crew will spend three nights and two days there before the filming starts.” Son Ho Young’s agency also confirmed, “Son Ho Young will appear on ‘Share House.’”

Last May, Son Ho Young dropped all of his activities after his suicide attempt, which took place after his girlfriend was found dead in his car. This will be his first television appearance since O’live’s “Son Ho Young’s Asian Cook.” It’s predicted he will start promoting more actively since g.o.d is also working on a comeback. 

“Share House” is a reality show about 10 celebrities living together as housemates. It will bring 10 celebrities working in the music, acting, and fashion industries and show how they live together for three months.

According to a production staff, “’Share houses’ are receiving much attention from many young people these days from the fact that the housemates can gain the emotional connection while they also respect each other’s personal lives. Taking this trend, we will be filming the process of how the 10 housemates grow into a family.”

“Share House” premieres on April 17 at 11 PM KST on O’live.

Simon D Opens Up About Ex-GF Lady Jane and Diss Battle

On the March 19 episode of “Radio Star,” guest Simon D opened up about his ex-girlfriend Lady Jane and also talked about the infamous diss battle involving some of hip-hop’s biggest names in Korea.

Simon D shared that he still keeps in touch and maintains a good friendship with Lady Jane even amongst the ruthless teasing from the “Radio Star” DJs who accused him of still having feelings for her.

He shared that he even invited Lady Jane to his birthday party but met with the response, “Are you crazy? Is this Hollywood or something?” This made the studio erupt in laughter.

Simon D continued, “I think E-Sens is one of the best rappers. He is very good at rapping. What I thought was cool was when he said, ‘Answer me, Gaeko’ in the song. No other rapper had dissed Dynamic Duo before.”

After Simon D released his diss rap, Swings countered. About that, Simon D commented, “I admit it, he’s good. The rap was really provoking. But what annoyed me was how the netizens kept pushing me. ‘Are you a coward? Why are you hiding? Come out.’ I was mad.”

Super Junior‘s Kim Heechul was recently photograpphed with Taiwanese girl group Dream Girls member Puff Kuo (Guo Xuefu) on a fun date.

JYP assures fans that Sun is not leaving Wonder Girls

With the recent news of Sun leaving for missionary work in Haiti for five years with her husband, JYP Entertainment had to step up to assure fans that this did not mean she was leaving Wonder Girls once and for all.

JYP Entertainment said on March 18, "The content Sun personally uploaded onto the home page is all true; she will be spending the next five years in Haiti with her husband for volunteer work.  However, Sun's leaving for Haiti does not mean she is leaving Wonder Girls.  It's true she plans on spending five years in Haiti, but she might return to Korea for a certain period of time."  

Does this mean that if she did momentarily visit Korea while volunteering at Haiti, she will be resuming Wonder Girls activities during that time?

JYP concluded, "It is definitely untrue that Sun will be leaving Wonder Girls due to Haiti."

Offbeat, comedic singer PSY is reported to make an April comeback. According to a report in a local news agency, buzz surrounding PSY’s comeback has attracted attention both in and out of the music industry. 

PSY’s management agency, YG Entertainment is reported to have said on March 18, “The comeback is not yet officially confirmed, but he is currently working on the final preparation.” PSY is known to be currently in the United States to work on the album. 

The music video was already earlier shot in Incheon with rapper Snoop Dogg and PSY’s YG Entertainment labelmate G-Dragon featuring in it. It further raised interest when 2NE1′s CL, who wasn’t originally planned to appear in the video also participated when she dropped in to visit the set.

PSY made waves in the music scene, both domestic and abroad when his “Gangnam Style” became a viral YouTube hit. His follow-up single, “Gentleman” was similarly well-known worldwide.

“We Got Married” New Couples to Appear on “Radio Star”

Great news for everyone who has been waiting for some juicy and goofy stories shared by the cast of “We Got Married!”

A representative of MBC revealed on March 18 that the cast members of “We Got Married Season 4″ will participate in the filming of “Radio Star” taking place on March 19 at the Ilsan MBC Dream Center.

The couples appearing are 2PM‘s Wooyoung and actress Park Se Young, singer Jung Joon Young, and the latest addition to the show, actor Nam Goong Min and singer Hong Jin Young. Jung Yoo Mi will unfortunately not be joining the others due to scheduling conflicts. She is currently filming MBC’s new drama “Mother’s Garden.”

The upcoming March 19 episode will feature columnist Heo Ji Woong, ex-gamer Hong Jin Ho, rapper Simon D, and Block B member Zico.

Jung Yoo Mi: “I Have No Plans to Leave ‘We Got Married’”

While we saw Yoon Han and Lee So Yeon bidding farewell to the show last week, Jung Yoo Mi seems to have no desire to leave her on-screen husband Jung Joon Young and “We Got Married.”

The actress participated in the press conference of MBC’s new daily drama “Mother’s Garden,” in which she plays one of the leading roles. When asked to share her feelings on acting in movies and dramas, and even appearing on variety at the same time, she replied, “In every way, it has been very tough lately, but it is not time to leave yet.”

“To take care of my physical health, I am giving my body healthy nutrients, but as I constantly don’t have time to sleep, I can’t concentrate. They are pieces that require me to concentrate on everything,” she revealed. 

“In the case of ‘We Got Married,’ even though it seems like we only sit quietly and everything looks easy, it requires a lot of energy. After wrapping up filming in the morning, my stomach is extremely empty. Just recently, we shot our wedding photos, and now we have to do our wedding ceremony, and there are still many things left to do. There are many things to show, and I also grew to like it,” she explained.

She concluded, “There are times when I think of wanting to rest a little. It is physically a bit difficult, and truthfully it is too much for me.”

“Mother’s Garden” is the follow-up drama of “King’s Daughter, Soo Baek Hyang,” and will air on weekdays at 8.50pm (KST).

Crayon Pop Releases Quirky Individual Teaser Photos

After releasing concept photos of the group a few days ago, adorable girl group Crayon Pop released individual teaser photos to get their fans excited for their comeback.

The previous group photos had shown the girl group dressed in very comfortable traditional Korean clothes, with a head scarf and vintage sunglasses added for flavor. The individual teaser photos gives each member a chance to shine, and despite that they are all wearing the same clothes, each member shows a uniquely quirky pose to define herself from the rest. With their sleek silver suitcases, these girls bring a new twist to the term, “Airport fashion.”

Crayon Pop may be the most comfortably dressed girl group yet!

Crayon Pop will make their comeback on March 31.
