Lee Jong Suk was inspired by Joo Won's acting in 'Good Doctor'

During an interview with @star1, Lee Jong Suk shared, "I get inspired by watching the acting of actors who are in their twenties like me... I think a lot to myself, 'They've lived in the same generation as me, but how can their methods of expressing themselves be so different?' Although our experiences are similar, everyone's acting methods are different."

"After watching Joo Won in 'Good Doctor', I was impressed and thought, 'How did he come up with Si On's way of talking?' I admired his creativity. I once thought to myself, 'If it was me, what would I have done?'"

"If there is an actor who is better than me at something, then I acknowledge it right away. Rather than thinking that I can do better than that person, I acknowledge that person's being."

SHINee’s Jonghyun Expresses His Dislike for “M! Countdown”

SHINee’s Jonghyun Expresses His Dislike for “M! Countdown”

SHINee’s Jonghyun expressed his frustration at the production crew of Mnet’s “M! Countdown” in a series of amusing posts on his Twitter account.

He tweeted, “There’s a short talk segment during the live broadcast of ’M! Countdown’. Hahaha! But the MCs are Kim Woo Bin and Joon Young-hyung…, ha…, ‘M! Countdown’ must really dislike me.”

He then revealed the heights of Kim Woo Bin and Jung Joon Young. According to their profiles, Kim Woo Bin’s listed height is 187 cm, while Jung Joon Young’s is 184 cm. In a previous variety program, Jonghyun had revealed his height to be 173 cm, relatively shorter than Kim Woo Bin and Jung Joon Young.

He showed his disappointment, joking, “Please anticipate the screen shots. I will hate ‘M! Countdown!’”

“I am thinking of asking for my chair to be raised, and not ever standing up,” “I will say it’s my ‘proud’ concept,” he continued tweeting, wittily revealing his way of avoiding humiliation.

Jonghyun then appeared on the show seated, between the two standing MCs. Kim Woo Bin asked him why he was the only one sitting, to which Jonghyun replied that it was more comfortable sitting down. He finally had to stand up to introduce the next stage, and ended up requesting for the two MCs match their eye levels. Kim Woo Bin and Jung Joon Young gamely showed off their “manner legs,” adjusting their heights to match.

Jonghyun also tweeted more pictures after the show.

Jonghyun is currently in the middle of SHINee promotions with their new song “Everybody.”

Joo Won shared, "I think that if I find the one I should marry, then I should prepare a wonderful event for her." Joo Won then made fans' hearts skip a beat by singing his confessional song from 'Good Doctor'.

Heechul reveals that IU didn't plan on being lenient with the rumor-spreading perpetrator

The October 17 installment of JTBC's 'Ssul Jeon' discussed IU's settlement with the perpetrator who spread vicious rumors about her impending marriage to a male idol.  It was decided that the charges would be dropped if the perpetrator did 200 hours of community service.

Heechul said, "When I asked her why she settled, she said she wanted to go all the way, but her company and other adults advised her they should let it go this once because it was the perpetrator's first time."

Another MC pointed out that the perpetrator kept making excuses to make his situation seem pitiable, saying things like things were not good at work and it appeared as if he were about to get a divorce.  Heechul said that made IU even angrier and more convinced she had to see this through to the end.  However, she ultimately listened to the adults and compromised.

Heechul asked her if he could reveal this information when he went on 'Ssul Jeon' and IU told him that this type of information was exactly what the program was for.  The other MCs jokingly teased Heechul, calling him a reporter and thanking him for his hard work.  IU also told him to say everything instead of trying to cover anything up for her and being criticized for it like in the Sulli incident.

IU boldly showed that she might look cute and pretty, but she was a strong force to be reckoned with if treated incorrectly!

2AM's Seulong visits Jinwoon at the hospital

On October 17, Seulong tweeted, "The concept of 'nuisance man.'  This is the concept.  As Jinwoon is feeling a lot better, do not worry.  We are in the middle of eating patbingsu (Korean shaved iced dessert with sweetened azuki beans, fruits, ice cream / yogurt, and sweet tteok)," and uploaded the above picture.

In the picture, it appears Seulong rather than Jinwoon is occupying the hospital bed.  He looks like he is the patient comfortably sleeping while Jinwoon is the visitor watching over him.

Jinwoon is currently recovering from surgery on his right leg due to an injury sustained from his car accident on the 6th.  It appears he felt a lot better after Seulong's playful visit as Jinwoon responded to Seulong's picture on Twitter with his own tweet, "I laughed because of hyung's visit.  Thank you."

Hopefully, he feels all better in no time!  Get well soon, Jinwoon.| allkpop on Facebook

NH Media expands on details regarding Dongho's reason for leave

NH Media stated, "[Dongho's departure] was not due to a discord [with the group or the agency]. It is something that Dongho considered for a long time... Since a long time ago, Dongho didn't think the celebrity life was right for him and has discussed this multiple times, so we have been thinking about a future course of action for a long time... [Dongho] initially took a break from his activities, but he officially decided to leave the group on the 16th."

According to NH Media, Dongho halted his activities following his group's Tokyo concert on August 30. But even after the break, his wish to leave the entertainment industry still hadn't changed, so the agency allowed him to leave after considering his wish and the fact that his physical condition seemed to be taking a toll, even despite the fact that Dongho still had 3 years left under the contract.

As it is a very rare occurrence that an agency will allow an artist to leave before the contract's expiration, the agency was asked to explain. A rep said, "We decided to follow his wishes. As much as he expressed his wish not to live as a celebrity anymore, it seems like [Dongho] will not only stop his activities as a singer but in other fields as well. It seems he will start having to think about what he will do from now on."

Although Dongho's departure is a definite setback, U-KISS plan to make their comeback later this month as scheduled.

I was left out of dramas, movies and commercials many times despite making it to the final stages of casting. It was really hard for me because of that.

He further explained his difficulties, “I avoided drinking sessions with guys. Because of the first impression my face gives, I feel a little awkward even around those younger than me. So I have not been to these gatherings.”

Chun Jung Myung recently filmed the movie “Queen of the Night” with Kim Min Jung and he gave his impressions on working together with her, “We were able to work pleasantly together to film the movie.” He confidently stated, “Reactions to the movie are pretty good. Joo Won reveals the reason he left '1N2D' + thanks KARA's Seungyeon for her interest

In a cafe in Apgujeong, Seoul on the 15th, Joo Won revealed that it was his humble nature which led him to leave the show. He shared, "I always felt sorry to my members. I still feel regretful and sorry... Because I am not the type to easily share my feelings and concerns, I never discussed leaving the show with the members... Although my hyungs always cheered me on saying, 'Just the way you are is the best,' I think I felt like I was lacking. Whenever I read viewers' comments, such as 'Why did he join?' and 'Why is he still here?', my sorry heart felt heavier."

"I thought that I could do well if I stick with '1N2D' for one year. But I started to feel how much I was lacking much more strongly, so in the end, I decided to leave... I at least wanted to tell them the news that I was leaving personally. After hearing that the articles about it came out, I immediately called my members and told them the truth. I am thankful that my hyungs understood, and I feel sorry. I had a good time."

In response to KARA's Seungyeon confessing her love for Joo Won on the recent broadcast of '1 vs. 100', Joo Won also expressed his positive feelings for her. "I was very surprised. I once saw Seungyeon while performing a musical with SS501's Park Jung Min. I remember her being charming and pretty... Out of my past work, it seems Seungyeon likes Shi On from 'Good Doctor'. It's really an honor. I feel thankful, and it felt good to hear that."

Joo Won also revealed that he still receives an allowance,
"I receive an allowance of 1 million KRW (~$936 USD)... Compared to how it used to be, it has increased a bit... Excluding my allowance, the rest of my income is managed by my mother. Because I don't even drink, I have money left over. I don't have a credit card. I haven't made a credit card in my name yet."

When asked if there are any stories from the film set, he humbly replied, “It’s a matter of course that there will be difficulties while filming a movie.  The fact that I’m shooting a movie at all is an episode for me, and that I’m doing my best with a beginner’s mindset is really all there is to it.”

He further explained about filming the movie, “When I filmed a movie previously, I got good reviews, but the reviews lost a lot of meaning because many people didn’t remember my acting, and honestly, that was a little upsetting. With this new movie, I want to bring back the reviews for my acting.”

Lee Joon’s new movie “Rough Play” will premiere on October 24, where he plays his first main role as Oh Young, showing a drastic new side of himself.
